Ranveer Singh-Starrer 'Jayeshbhai Jordaar' Confirms To Release On May 13, 2022
Mumbai, March 3 - Yash Raj Films, after preponing Akshay Kumar's "Prithviraj" by a week on June 3rd, has now announced the release date of Ranveer Singh-fronted "Jayeshbhai Jordaar".
The social comedy, which also stars "Arjun Reddy" fame, Shalini Pandey as the female lead, will be released in theaters worldwide on May 13, 2022. The movie is directed by Divyang Thakkar, who primarily works in Gujarati cinema.
Yash Raj Films took to Twitter and announced the new release date with a video featuring Ranveer Singh. "Saare heroes ek taraf, aur #JayeshbhaiJordaar ek taraf! Watch the date announcement video NOW. Celebrate #JayeshbhaiJordaar with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 13th May", read the tweet.
Jayeshbhai Jordaar was earlier announced to release in theatres on 2 October 2020 and later on 27 August 2021 and 25 February 2022, but the COVID-19 pandemic in India led its postponement by makers who waited for the situation's normalisation rather than streaming it on OTT platforms.
It will be released on Amazon Prime Video after its theatrical run. It also stars Boman Irani, Ratna Pathak Shah, among others in key roles.
