Thalapathy 65 Is Titled, Beast; Makers Revealed Fierce First Look of Vijay
Chennai, June 21, 2021: After Master, Thalapathy Vijay's fans have been eagerly waiting for his next movie, which will see the actor in the never seen before avatar. On the evening of the Tamil superstar's birthday, the makers of his 65th film have made Thalapathy fans go crazy as the first look and title of the film have been released.
Written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Thalapathy 65 has been titled "Beast". Producer Kalanithi Maran of Sun Pictures also revealed the fierce first look of Vijay wielding a shotgun with a mounted telescopic sight. The first look and title promise to be another blockbuster in making for the actor.
The homogenous craze for the film can be understood with the fact that the first look poster shared by Vijay on his Twitter account crossed 100K likes within 15 minutes.
The movie, Beast, marks actress Pooja Hegde's return to the Tamil cinema after 9 years. She made his acting debut in the 2012 Tamil movie, Mugamoodi. She will play the female lead opposite Vijay in Beast. Malayalam actor Shine Tom Chacko is also playing an important role.
The movie went on floors in March this year before the second wave of coronavirus brought the country to a standstill again. In April, the Beast team left for Georgia, where the shooting began. The director reportedly shot Vijay's introduction scene and an action set piece in the first shooting schedule.
The next schedule of Beast will soon begin in Chennai while the makers are planning Pongal 2022 as the release date. The music of the film is penned by Anirudh Ravichander.
