Akshay Kumar's 'Ram Setu' To Release Simultansouly In Telugu And Tamil Along With Original Hindi Langauge

Maddock Films Releases The Teaser of Varun Dhawan And Kriti Sanon's 'Bhediya'

It is the third installment in producer Dinesh Vijan's horror-comedy universe after "Stree" and "Roohi". ## Meanwhile, the makers released the first look teaser of the film on September 30, and it has blockbuster written all over it. 'Brahmastra Part One: Shiva' Becomes The Third Highest-Grossing Indian Movie of 2022

Mumbai, September 30 - Director Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has become the third highest-grossing Indian film during the entire covid-19 pandemic.## The fantasy action adventure film has grossed over Rs. 416 crores at the worldwide box office, crossing Kamal Haasan's mega-blockbuster Vikram's Rs. 414.43 crores gross. "Brahmastra" is already the highest-grossing Bollywood movie since Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's "War" (2019). ## In 2022, four Indian films crossed the Rs. 400 crores mark at the box office worldwide. Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2 is the biggest Indian grosser with Rs. 1,207 crores, followed by SS Rajamouli's trendsetting RRR, which has so far grossed approx. Rs. 1,112 crores. "RRR" will be released in Japan next on October 21st. ## "Brahmastra", meanwhile has grossed Rs. 307 crores at the domestic box office in flat 3 weeks while overseas collection stands at approx. Vikram Vedha Opening Day Box Office Prediction

Mumbai, September 29 - Bollywood is on an edge of the seat again, this time to know the box office fate of Hrithik Roshan and Saif Ali Khan's Vikram Vedha, which is releasing on September 30. Hrithik was last seen on the big screen in War in 2019 and became the biggest Bollywood opener with Rs. 51.60 crores.## The scene has completely changed for the cinema industry, especially for Bollywood which has been struggling to get big openings in the post-pandemic era. The advance booking of the film is nowhere close to that of "War", which has ruled out its possibility of 30 crores opening. ## It is not all doom and gloom for the "Vikram Vedha" in advance sales as it is very much similar to the likes of "Samrat Prithviraj", "Shamshera", and "JugJugg Jeeyo", among a few others, and this indicates a decent to good opening for this action thriller. However, "Vikram Vedha" has something that these aforementioned films lacked, and that is a massive commercial appeal. ## "Vikram Vedha" has been receiving rave reviews from critics and its effect of it has been seen in the trend of advance sales which has picked over the last 24 hours. Going by the advance booking trend, the movie is looking to open around 12-13 crores net. Since the film promises to be a mass entertainer, the single screens are expected to perform much better than the previous films, and looking at all these things, the opening of around 15-17 crores is very much on the cards.## The opening of 15+ crores of the film will largely depend on the audience's word of mouth. Ajay Devgn And Ayushmann Khurrana To Come Together For Neeraj Pandey's Thriller Film

Mumbai, September 27 - Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is putting efforts to bring two highly talented Bollywood stars for his next musical drama Baiju Bawra. ## The maverick filmmaker scored Bollywood's first hit of 2022 in the form of Gangubai Kathiawadi with lady superstar Alia Bhatt, and now, he is working on "Baiju Bawra". The filmmaker has already reportedly roped Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, and according to peepingmoon.com, he is keen on bringing Ranbir Kapoor to play the parallel lead. ## "Baiju Bawra" is touted to be a revenge story of a maverick maestro, named Baiju, who challenges the famous maestro Tansen in Mughal Emperor Akbar's court to a musical duel in order to avenge his father's death. While Ranveer is locked, the report says that Bhansali has started talks with Ranbir to play the parallel lead. ## While Ranbir hasn't given his nod for the movie, SLB is hopeful of his casting. It's not yet clear who has been offered which role, but if they come together, "Baiju Bawra" will certainly become the talk of the town. The shooting of this magnum opus is expected to start in the first quarter of 2023 after SLB completes Netflix's series "Heera Mandi".## Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir has just delivered a box office hit in the form of "Brahmastra" and will next be seen in Luv Ranjan's untitled rom-com. Mumbai, September 27 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan returned to the big screen after nearly 4 years with Laal Singh Chaddha, which was a remake of the Hollywood classic "Forrest Gump". But LSC also met with the same fate as his last film Thugs of Hindostan at the box office.## It was reported that Aamir will next take up director RS Prasann's film which is a remake of the Spanish film, Campeones. Mumbai, September 25 - Brahmastra is heading towards a very good third Sunday as the early estimates suggest around 6.30 crores collections. There is a good jump compared to yesterday which is a positive sign for the film which also means the film will hold slightly better than expected on the upcoming Monday.## The third Sunday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 253cr net box office mark in all languages. After 'Brahmastra', Ticket Prices For 'Chup', And 'Avatar' Reduce To Rs. 100

Mumbai, September 25 - The makers of psychological crime thriller Chup have reduced the ticket prices of the film from Monday (September 26) along with James Cameron's Avatar re-release and R. Madhavan's Dhokha: Round D Corner. ## The aforementioned films will be available to purchase for Rs. 100-110 in most theaters. The makers haven't made the official announcement regarding reducing ticket prices of the film but it seems, the decision came after Brahmastra Part One: Shiva makers confirmed that the film can be watched in just Rs. 100+GST from Monday to Thursday. ## Reducing ticket prices could largely benefit "Chup", "Avatar", and "Brahmastra" as these films have found acceptance among the audience. It has been a long cry within the film industry that movie ticket prices should be kept low so that large audiences can afford them, and the latest development suggests the makers are finally looking for course correction. ## Director R. Balki's "Chup" has scored well in the first two days and earned 5.13 crores net. The opening day witnessed higher footfalls than the second day due to the National Cinema Day, on which ticket prices were made available for just Rs. 75. Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' Post-Theatrical Streaming And Satellite Rights Sold For Whopping Price

Mumbai, September 24 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is shooting for his big-budget action entertainer Jawan under the direction of Tamil director Atlee. While it is scheduled to release in June 2023, the movie is already catching the eyeballs of the audience due to its mass appeal. ## Produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment, "Jawan" is arguably one of the most anticipated Bollywood movies of 2023 and hence, it is already luring digital platforms. In fact, the makers have reportedly locked the post-theatrical streaming and satellite deals of the movie. ## According to Lets Cinema, Zee TV has bagged the satellite rights by Netflix fetched streaming deal of the movie. It is said that both the deal has been done for a whopping Rs. 250 crores, which is already higher than the budget of the film. ## It is the first time when Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee are teaming up. Atlee is known for directing films like "Theri", "Mersal", and "Bigil", so the expectations are high from his Bollywood debut movie. It also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara as the female lead, Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover. ## Before "Jawan", SRK will headline Yash Raj Films productions' "Pathaan", which will makr his comeback to the big screen after more than 4 years. Brahmastra Third Saturday Early Estimate

Mumbai, September 24 - Brahmastra is heading towards a good third Saturday of its box office run as the early estimate collection suggests 5.20cr net.## There was a fear that the film will lose momentum on Saturday as on national cinema day the film had consumed a huge chunk of the audience but that did not happen as the film has shown excellent hold on Saturday. Yes, admit wise it is nowhere near yesterday's number but that is more because of cheaper ticket rates yesterday.## The third Saturday collections will take the entire box office collections of Brahmastra to over 246cr net box office mark and the film will easily cross the 250cr mark tomorrow making it the first original Hindi film post the pandemic to achieve the benchmark.## Brahmastra will become the highest-grossing Hindi film and there are not many films that will challenge the numbers.
