Box Office: Jawan First Wednesday Early Estimates

Mumbai, September 13 - Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan continues to score big collections during the weekdays even after a monstrous opening weekend. The collection remains over 20 crores net in Hindi which is a fantastic hold, in its bid to become the 3rd Bollywood movie to top 500 crores lifetime Hindi net.## The day-wise trending of Jawan is better than SRK's last blockbuster Pathaan as collections on the first Monday and Tuesday are higher than the later one. On its first Wednesday, Jawan scored an estimated 21.50 crore net, which takes the total Hindi collection to around 327 crores in 7 days.## The drop today is around 10% from Tuesday which is fantastic as the collection yesterday was itself a huge one of 24 crores. Additionally, Jawan scored an estimated 1.50 crores net in the Tamil and Telugu versions today, for all India 23 crores net collection first Tuesday/7th day.## The total collection of Jawan is around 368 crores with today's collection and the 8-day extended first week is looking at around 387 crores net. The second weekend will be crucial for the movie as far as its long run is concerned. Female Lead Finalizes To Star Alongside Tiger Shroff In 'Rambo' Hindi Adaptation

Mumbai, September 13 - Filmmaker Siddharth Anand has been working on the Hindi remake of Hollywood classic Rambo for a very long time. Tiger Shroff was announced to headline this high-octane actioner back in 2017, but even after 6 years, the official production is yet to commence.## In a piece of good news, it was reported last year that the production of the movie will commence by the end of 2024, and the same was later confirmed by Siddharth Anand, who will produce it under his banner Marflix. Now, according to the latest reports, the makers have finalized the female lead to star alongside Tiger Shroff in the movie.## According to Pinkvilla, the "Rambo" remake, which will be directed by Rohit Dhawan, will have Janhvi Kapoor to play the female lead role. This marks Janhvi and Tiger's maiden film together after coming close to sharing screen space in the past. The character details of Janhvi's role have been kept under wraps for now but her role is believed to be crucial to the storyline.## It is said that Tiger will undergo rigorous training under the guidance of international experts and he will be trained in weaponry and guerrilla warfare to prepare for his role as the last surviving member of an elite covert unit of the Indian Armed Forces who returns home to discover a war waging in his own land. ## The shoot of the "Rambo" adaptation will commence by December this year or January 2024 after both Tiger and Janhvi finish their current commitments. Mumbai, September 13 - Actor Ayushmann Khurrana's social comedy-drama film Dream Girl 2 emerged a slipper success at the box office and entered the 100 crores net club in Hindi. ## Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film managed to withstand Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster "Jawan" and holdover film "Gadar 2" to make a surprise entry to the coveted 100 crores club. Mumbai, September 9 - Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan has an explosive first Saturday at the domestic box office with collection nearing the first day total. The movie witnessing a jump of around 40% which is phenomenal as second-day numbers were itself huge.## According to the early estimates, Jawan is eyeing 66 crores net collection in Hindi on its third day. Box Office: Jawan Second Day Early Estimates; Fantastic Hold

Mumbai, September 8 - After the record-breaking opening day, Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan put up a fantastic hold on its second day which was actually a working day. The first day was a partial holiday due to Krishna Janmashtami which pushed the collection to some extra crores. ## The movie scored a drop on the morning shows on the second day/first Friday but picked up excellently in the evening and night shows as it is looking at, at least 47 crores net collection in Hindi depending on the size of drop in the smaller centers.## Jawan also hold well in Tamil and Telugu versions as estimates suggest 5-6 crores net for all-India 53+ crores net second day. The overall drop today is around 25-30% from the opening day which is a fantastic hold. The total collection of the movie reached around 128 crores net, including at least 112.50 crores in Hindi in two days.## The advance booking for Saturday/third day is huge and the third day collection could be around 65 crores net again in all versions before Sunday pushes collection further. Mumbai, September 8 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan has had a historic start at the domestic as well as overseas box office. Mumbai, September 8 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan outshined himself as his latest blockbuster Jawan has emerged the biggest Bollywood opener of all-time, be it domestic or worldwide box office. The movie has beaten the previous record SRK's "Pathaan" which was released earlier this year.## The Atlee Kumar's directorial movie set the box office on fire on the first day with theaters reported houseful boards all over the country. Box Office: Akshay Kumar's 'OMG 2' Nears 150 Crores Net Domestically

Mumbai, September 8 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar's A-rated social comedy drama film OMG 2 has emerged as big box office hit at the domestic as well as overseas. Directed by Amit Rai, the movie has already crossed the 200 crores gross mark at the global box office, and now, it is heading to 150 crores domestic net collection.## OMG 2 had a good 4th week despite the heavy competition as it scored approximately 7.40 crores net, dropping just around 52% from the third week which is very good hold. This takes the total collection to around 149.25 crores net in 28 days and it could add another 1-2 crores more to take its total past 150 crores mark.## The film dropped heavily on the last day (4th Thursday) of the 4th week due to the arrival of Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Jawan" which took most the screens away of the movie, plus the holdovers are also performing really well. Box Office: Dream Girl 2 Nears 100 Crores Net After Good Second Week Hold

Mumbai, September 8 - Ayushmann Khurran's social comedy drama film Dream Girl 2 is inching closer to the 100 crores net mark which is going to be a phenomenal achievement for the movie as it will come against all odds. ## Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the movie has crossed 95 crores net mark after first two weeks. Box Office: Gadar 2 Scored A Fantastic 4th Week Domestically

Mumbai, September 8 - All-time mega blockbuster Gadar 2: The Kathan Continues inches closer to SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" at the Hindi box office after the fantastic 4th week collection.
