Karthikeya 2 Set To Extend Tollywood's Winning Streak
Hyderabad, August 13 - The Tollywood film industry is leading the charge once again and giving hits after hits. The most fruitful industry during the covid-19 pandemic, Tollywood back on track with Bimbisara, and Sita Ramam, which are heading towards big blockbuster status, and now, another Telugu film is set to join the party. ## Actor Nikhil Siddharth's supernatural adventure thriller film Karthikeya 2 has been released in theaters today with packed houses. The movie was postponed multiple times but the makers never let the buzz fade away. It was the film that the makers promised to be a big screen spectacle and it hasn't disappointed the audiences. ## "Karthikeya 2" is getting positive responses all around from critics and audiences alike and the initial response at the box office indicates that the movie is going to be a sure-shot hit, and will help the industry to extend its winning streak which started with the aforementioned two films. ## The Chandoo Mondeti-directed film has been valued at 12 crores in Telugu states and it looks like, the movie will recover total investment within a week. The next few days will be important but with such positive reports, "Karthikeya 2" is unlikely to see the downfall going ahead. It also stars Anupama Parameswaran and Anupam Kher in key roles. ## Meanwhile, actor Nithiin's action thriller Macherla Niyojakavargam also took an excellent start despite the mixed talks.
