Chennai, November 20 - Thalapathy Vijay's action blockbuster Leo is nearing its box office run after debuting in theatres on October 19. The Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial has grossed over 600 crores at the worldwide box office and is currently the third highest-grossing Tamil movie of all time. ## There is not much gas left in the film to fire at the box office, and as pre-scheduled, the gangster drama is gearing up for its streaming debut on Netflix. "Leo" will be streaming on Netflix after 5 weeks in all the languages in which it was released in theatres. ## On Monday (November 20), Netflix officially confirmed that the film will start streaming from November 24 in Hindi and November 28 globally, in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada, languages. Due to the pre-agreement with Netflix, "Leo" couldn't get a theatrical release in the multiplex chains in Hindi as exhibitors demanded an 8-week window which the makers weren't ready for. ## Nonetheless, despite the short window and without multiplex release, "Leo" has done well to score over 26 crores net collection which is easily Thalapathy Vijay's biggest grosser in the Hindi language. Chennai, November 13 - Thalapathy Vijay's mega-blockbuster Leo has become the third Tamil movie of all-time to top 600 crores at the worldwide box office, after superstar Rajinikanth-led blockbusters "2.0" and "Jailer". ## The action thriller, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is slowing down at the box office but has done its job in the first three weeks. It has completed 25 days in theatres with a worldwide gross collection of approx. 600 crores, a first for Thalapathy Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj. ## "Leo" is the second Tamil movie of the year to breach this box office mark after "Jailer". The 600+ crores worldwide gross includes approx. 203 crores overseas collection (studio estimates) while the domestic collection is a little over 397 crores. Superstar Rajinikanth's "Jailer" is the third highest-grossing movie in the state with over 189 crores. ## "Leo" has been on a dream run since its debut on October 19. The movie has slowed down over the last few days but still has enough gas in it to keep going. Chennai, October 30 - Thalapathy Vijay's action drama Leo has become the second highest-grossing film in Tamil Nadu, beating superstar Rajinikanth's mega-blockbuster "Jailer". Lokesh Kanagaraj's directorial is also inching towards hitting the 200 crores mark in the state. ## The latest Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) blockbuster crossed "Jailer" in 12 days. The Rajini-led movie scored approximately 189.50 crores gross collection in Tamil Nadu and "Leo" scored around 191.50 crores. It is now behind only Mani Ratnam's "Ponniyin Selvan - 1" which grossed approx. 213 crores last year. ## "Leo" will become only the second movie to top 200 crores gross in Tamil Nadu and it is heading towards finishing around 210 crores gross. Chennai, October 28 - Director Lokesh Kanagaraj is on cloud nine with the mega success of the action drama "Leo", starring Thalapathy Vijay. Despite mixed reception regarding the second half, the film is doing very well at the box office and crossed 500 crores gross mark worldwide in 10 days.## The filmmaker, during the trailer launch event of Karthi's "Japan" today, accepted the public opinion that there were some flaws in the second half of "Leo", and promised to come up with a stronger output in his next film in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU). ## As known to everyone, "Leo" is the third film in the LCU and the next in the series is Karthi's "Kaithi 2" which will commence by the end of this year. Chennai, October 24 - Thalapathy Vijay teamed up with director Venkat Prabhu for the first time for his next, tentatively titled Thalapathy 68 and the shoot for the same has already commenced. The movie is believed to be a unique sci-fi actioner, produced by AGS Entertainment. ## While things have just started rolling out, T-Series has already grabbed the music rights of T68 in all languages.
