Bengaluru, July 26 - After scripting box office history with Prashanth Neel's directorial action drama KGF: Chapter 2, superstar Yash will be returning to the big screen with National Award-Winning director, Geetu Mohandas' gangster-based action film Toxic - A Fairy Tale of Grown-Ups. ## The film was announced last year with the official release date of April 10, 2025. The movie commenced its shoot recently, and according to the reports, the makers have locked a solid female cast in the form of Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Tara Sutaria, Shruti Haasan, and Huma Qureshi. ## Now, according to the report by Pinkvilla, Toxic will no longer be released on April 10, 2025, as announced. It is a huge-budgeted film and the makers are taking their time to mount it on the right scale. Mumbai, June 26 - In April 2017, SS Rajamouli's directorial Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion, starring Prabhas, breached the 100 crores, and 200 crores worldwide opening day mark for an Indian movie. Since then, only RRR, also directed by Rajamouli, could touch 200 crores opening day box office figure. ## 2 years after RRR, Indian cinema might have its third 200 crore worldwide opener in Prabhas-fronted Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the sci-fi epic is tracking to earn 180+ crores opening with a chance to reach 200 crores (rough estimation), depending on the reception it gets upon release. ## Given the opening on the projected lines, Kalki 2898 AD will be the third biggest Indian opener at the box office. Mumbai, May 23 - Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-fronted epic Ramayana, co-starring Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol, is the biggest Indian film in the making. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the movie hasn't been officially announced yet but has been the talk of the town for various reasons. ## Recently, social media was buzzing with rumours that the production of Ramayana has been stalled due to a legal copyright infringement issue. Mumbai, May 14 - After years of planning and intensive pre-production work, director Nitesh Tiwari's epic Ramayana recently went on floors with Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi who are playing the role of lord Ram and goddess Sita, respectively. Yash plays the character of Raavan. ## Ramayana is easily the most-anticipated Indian movie in the works and now, according to the reports, it is going to be the costliest Indian film ever. Titled Toxic, the movie is being directed by National-award winning filmmaker Geetu Mohandas and produced by Yash under his banner Monster Mind Creations in association with KVN Productions. ## Toxic is a pan-India movie and the makers are in the process of locking a blockbuster casting from across industries. Mumbai, February 5 - Kannada superstar Yash soared to nationwide popularity after the mega-blockbuster KGF film franchise and after one-and-a-half-year, he recently announced his next film which is Toxic with Malayalam director Geethu Mohandas.## Now, according to a report by Pinkvilla, the makers have approached Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for a key extended role. "It's an author-backed role and not one of those just added for a gimmick. There is a proper track for the character which has been offered to SRK, and the makers are hoping to have him on board", says the report. ## Shah Rukh Khan is on top of his game at the moment with three back-to-back big successes last year in which the actor grossed over 2600 crores at the worldwide box office with Pathaan, Jawan, and Dunki. The actor hasn't given his node yet for the role in Toxic but the makers are hopeful for the same. ## As reported earlier, SRK was also approached for director Lokesh Kanagaraj's film with superstar Rajinikanth but de declined the offer. Mumbai, February 4 - The countdown begins for the shoot commencement of Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor-led epic Ramayana, potentially the biggest Indian film in the making. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the three-part film features Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Raavan, and Sunny Deol as Hanuman, among others. ## The pre-production work on Ramayana has been going on for a long time and now, the makers are set to take the movie on floors in March this year. According to a report by TOI, the first schedule of the film will take in Mumbai for around 60 days in which Ranbir and Sai Pallavi will be shooting for their portions. ## After the Mumbai schedule, the team will head to London for another around 60 days of filming. Superstar Yash will join Ranbir in the London schedule, however, the former will shoot for around 15-20 days as he will have an extended appearance as Lankesh in the first part of Ramayana. ## The second and third parts of Ramayana will mainly focus on Yash's Raavan and Sunny Deol's Hanuman along with Ranbir and Pallavi.
