Ajay Devgn To Reunite With Filmmaker Luv Ranjan For 'De De Pyaar De 2'

Mumbai, August 29 - In May 2019, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn teamed with filmmaker Luv Ranjan for the romantic-comedy "De De Pyaar De", directed Akiv Ali. Written by Luv Ranjan and Tarun Jain, the movie was a box office hit and left an open ending for the sequel.## Now, according to Pinkvilla, Ajay Devgn and Luv Rajan are reuniting for the sequel to the movie and set to take it on floors early next year. The original writer duo of Ranjan and Jain have written the script and it will be the continuation of the first part.## It is said that Ajay Devgn and Luv Ranjan recently met to discus the technicalities. Just like the first movie, family conflict will be the main asset of the sequel, and the makers aim to take things a notch higher on this front. ## The original movie showed the family conflict on Ashish's (Ajay Devgn) side regarding his relationship with 26-year-old Ayesha Khurana (Rakul Preet Singh), this time, the movie will be about the reaction of Ayesha's family to the relationship with a 50-year-old.## The film will be directed by Anshul Sharma who has been the Creative Director on Ranjan's past films "Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety" and "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar". August 2023 Registers Biggest Single Month Net Collection Of All-Time In Hindi: Top 5 Biggest Month List

Mumbai, August 28 - August 2023 has turned out to be a historic month at the Indian box office with all films scoring well over 1000 crores net collection. This month particularly turned the tide for the Hindi film industry as it registered the biggest single-month net collection of all time in Hindi.## As of August 27, all the films have scored approximately 750 crores net collection in the Hindi language so far in the month of August. Arshad Warsi headlined the first movie while Akshay Kumar led the second installment. ## It was revealed last year that director Subhash Kapoor was working on the script of "Jolly LLB 3" which was later confirmed by Arshad Warsi. Mumbai, August 26 - Gadar 2 which smashed records in the second week as it emerged as the highest-grossing second-week film post-pandemic has witnessed huge growth on the third Saturday of its box office run. The early estimates suggest 12.50 crores net collection today, which is around 75% growth from Friday.## This is a phenomenal trend for the north-based mass action film and if the film sees another growth like this tomorrow then it is almost certain to join the 500cr net and even beat Pathaan to emerge as the biggest ever in the Hindi format. Box Office: Gadar 2 Surpasses KGF 2 To Become The Third Highest-Grossing Film In Hindi Domestically

Mumbai, August 26 - Sunny Deol-fronted Gadar 2: The Katha Continues has become the 3rd highest-grossing film of all time in the Hindi language at the domestic box office. It has surpassed Yash-starrer KGF: Chapter 2 which scored 435 crores net last year, to claim the 3rd spot.## Gadar 2, on its 3rd Saturday (16 days), reached around 440 crores net collection. It is now behind only Baahubali 2 - The Conclusion (511 crores net) and Pathaan (524 crores net). G2 is expected to reach 500 crores net mark by 4th week to become only the 3rd film ever in Hindi to do so.## At the same point in time (16 days), G2 is ahead of SS Rajamouli's directorial BB2 (415.05 crores net) and is behind Pathaan (442.50 crores net), but only just. Los Angeles, August 26 - Two of the biggest Indian movies of the year, Prabhas-fronted Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire and Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan on course to emerge massive openers at the US box office as the advance booking for both the movies are continuing with the great momentum. ## Directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar is literally going berserk in its pre-booking and is certain to emerge as one of the biggest Indian openers there. According to the tracker, Venky Reviews, the film has sold approximately 14620 tickets worth $418.8K (3.50 crores) so far from 1012 shows in 337 locations for the premieres. ## The advances opened just a few days back and there are still 31 days left for the first show (28 Sept. release). The movie will be eyeing at least $1.5+ million in premiere advance sales and the opening day (including premieres) could well be around $4 million. At this point in time, the movie is competing with SS Rajamouli's RRR opening in the USA. ## Shah Rukh Khan's action thriller Jawan, on the other hand, is also having strong advance sales in the USA. Pathaan was also released in this premium format and delivered the biggest global opening ever for an Indian movie. Box Office: Gadar 2 Third Friday Early Estimates

Mumbai, August 25 - Gadar 2 has shown a superb hold on the third Friday of its box office run as the early estimates suggest 6.50-7 crores net collection. These collections are excellent for Third Friday especially because Dream Girl 2 was released today and has taken away major showcasing in the multiplexes which drives the business on Friday and Saturday.## The third Friday collections of Gadar2 will take the total collections of the film to around 426 crores net mark. The film will cross the 450cr net box office mark by this weekend but how far it can go will decide the final lifetime business. It is expected to take around 35cr net box office collections in the third weekend which will keep it in the race to breach the 500 crores net mark.## Irrespective of the lifetime business, Gadar 2 has emerged as the biggest hit of the year and is among the biggest blockbusters of all time. Mumbai, August 25 - Actress Alia Bhatt has become a force to reckon with in the Bollywood film industry. After back-to-back major box office success along with the maiden National Award of the Best Actress for "Gangubai Kathiawadi", Alia is now set to headline Yash Raj Films' first female-led spy action thriller film.## A few weeks back, it was revealed that the "Raazi" actress roped in to lead YRF's yet untitled spy action thriller movie, part of the studios' ambitious Spy Universe. "Given the film's dynamic, action-packed nature, both Alia and Sharvari will undergo a rigorous three-month preparation regimen for their action sequences.
