Dharma Productions' Untitled Film Starring Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk, and Triptii Dimri Gets A New Release Date

Mumbai, July 9 - Actor Vicky Kaushal, Ammy Virk, and Tripti Dimri's yet-untitled film by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions gets a new release date in theaters. The film is directed by Anand Tiwari and co-produced by Leo Media Collective in association with Amazon Prime Video. ## The film has been postponed to February 23, 2024, from its earlier announced August 25, 2023, release date in cinemas. Dharma Production took to Twitter to announce the new release date of their untitled comedy-drama film. ## "It's only going to get bigger and better from here! Box Office: 'Satyaprem Ki Katha' Scores A Big Jump On Its Second Saturday

Mumbai, July 9 - Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's musical romantic drama film "Satyaprem Ki Katha" is heading for a healthy lifetime collection at the domestic box office. Despite being not a mass-friendly film, it has done well in the first week to enter the second weekend with a bang. ## After dropping just 5% on its second Friday for 2.85 crores net, the Sameer Vidhwans-directed flick scored a big jump of 66.67% on its second Saturday to collect 4.75 crores net. This takes the total net collection to 60.81 crores in 10 days. It is expected to score a further jump today and is likely to bring in 5.50 crores for the second-weekend collection of around 13 crores. ## SPK also has done decently at the overseas box office to score approx. 13 crores net (estimated). The worldwide collection of the movie currently stands at around 85 crores gross and it will soon enter the 100-crore gross club globally. ## The Sajid Nadiadwala production has been able to attract its target multiplex audiences, especially the youth which is loving this romantic saga. Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani's 'Dunki' Post-Theatrical OTT Rights Sold To Jio Cinema For Record-Price?

Mumbai, July 8 - Director Rajkumar Hirani's maiden film with superstar Shah Rukh Khan, "Dunki" is one of the hugely anticipated films in the making. It is a social comedy-drama film based on the rampant use of an illegal backdoor route called 'Donkey Flight' to immigrate to countries like Canada and the USA. ## "Dunki" is scheduled to release during the Christmas weekend this year and it is expected to be one of the biggest hits of Indian cinema. The movie is currently the post-production work and in between, the makers have already reportedly locked the non-theatrical rights of the film. ## It was recently reported that the non-theatrical rights of "Dunki" have been sold in a whopping amount of approx. 230 crores, and now, it has been revealed that the streaming rights alone have fetched 155 crores, making it the biggest post-theatrical OTT deal for an Indian movie in a single language. ## According to Bollywood Hungama, "Dunki" will be streaming on Jio Cinema after its theatrical release. "This is the biggest deal in the history of Indian Cinema for a film released in a single language. Salman Khan Locks Director Sooraj Barjatya's 'Prem Ki Shaadi' As His Next: Report

Mumbai, July 8 - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been in talks with his director friend Sooraj Barjatya for their next films together. The filmmaker has been working on the script for a long time and it was recently reported that it might take a few more months to complete the entire script work. ## During this period, the superstar was also interested in a film offered by producer Karan Johar, but now, according to a report in Mid-Day, the "Dabangg" star has made up his mind and picked Barjatya's film that is reportedly titled "Prem Ki Shaadi". ## It is said that Salman loved the script when it was first narrated to him in 2020 but due to the pandemic, the development of the film got delayed. Now, the duo is set to take the movie on floors next month in August as the pre-production reportedly commenced last month. ## "Romantic dramas, set in a family, are a success at the box office today, as seen with Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and Satyaprem Ki Katha. Mumbai, July 5 - Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan's popularity is at an all-time high after his historic comeback with Yash Raj Films' "Pathaan". This Siddharth Anand's directorial grossed more than 1000 crores at the worldwide box office and made SRK only the second Bollywood actor after Aamir Khan to reach the rare box office mark. ## Shah Rukh Khan's next two films "Jawan" and "Dunki" are the most-anticipated Bollywood films and according to the reports, both films are in red hot demand in the trade. According to Pinkvilla, SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment, which has produced both movies, has sold the non-theatrical rights for a record price. ## "It's Shah Rukh Khan v/s Shah Rukh Khan now as the top two non-theatrical deals of all time are under the name of King Khan. While the digital, satellite, and music rights of Jawan are sold for approximately Rs 250 crore, the same for Dunki is around Rs 230 crore", the report states. ## "Jawan", directed by Atlee, will also be released in Tamil and Telugu which is the reason it scored a higher deal in non-theatrical rights while Rajkumar Hirani's "Dunki" is an exclusive Hindi release as of now. "There are some non-theatrical deals which are still getting locked and the eventual total non-theatrical revenue for two films will be close to Rs 500 crore", the website further reports.## As said, the global stardom of SRK, especially after the "Pathaan" euphoria, has resulted in such massive pre-release numbers. Mumbai, July 3 - Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's highly-anticipated Pan India movie "Animal" starring Bollywood star Ranbir Kapoor has officially been postponed to December 1, 2023. The film was supposed to release on August 11 during the Independence Day weekend. ## There have been rumors floating on social media that "Animal" is postponed as the makers wanted to avert the clash with "Gadar 2" and "OMG 2". However, director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has himself shared a video statement stating the real reason behind the postponement. ## In a video shared on T-Series' social media accounts, the director said that the only reason for the film not coming on August 11 is the quality of the product. He said that they don't want to compromise on the quality of the film and he gave example of the songs for the same. ## The director revealed that "Animal" has 7 songs in the original Hindi version and because the movie is also releasing in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada languages, there become a total of 35 songs. He also said that they don't want to give the audience a feeling that the film and the songs are dubbed as they want to keep them as authentic as possible. ## The "Kabir Singh" director further said thanks to the audience for the excellent response to the pre-teaser and clarified that Ranbir Kapoor's glimpse shown in the pre-teaser as well as the song will be there in the movie as well contrary to the rumors. Mumbai, July 2 - Sajid Nadiadwala's musical romantic film "Satyaprem Ki Katha", starring Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani, scores a good 4-day opening weekend at the domestic box office after recording back-to-back double-digit scores. ## On its first Sunday/4th day, SPK is seeing a jump of around 15%-20% for an estimated 11.50-12 crores net collection.
