Mumbai, July 2 - Renowned filmmaker Anurag Basu's anthology film "Metro... In Dino" release date has been postponed and it will now be released on 29 March 2024, on the occasion of Good Friday. ## The film, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sensharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh, was earlier supposed to come out in December but has now been pushed to next year. ## "Get ready to be swept away by the heartwarming stories of modern-day couples brought to life by a talented ensemble cast. Varun Dhawan Confirms His Next Theatrical Film; Release Date Locked

Mumbai, July 2 - Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan is gearing up for the release of the comedy-drama film "Bawaal" which will be directly released on Amazon Prime Video later this month. The direct OTT release of the film disappointed the actor's fans who wanted it to release in theaters as was originally planned. ## Nonetheless, Varun has locked his next theatrical film that is with Tamil filmmaker Atlee. The yet-untitled movie will be directed by a Tamil director Kalees while Murad Khetani of Cine1 Studios and Priya Atlee of A For Apple Studios will produce it. Box Office: Adipurush Records A Very Low Second Week

Mumbai, June 30 - Director Om Raut's magnum opus "Adipurush", which was one of the most hyped films before release, has turned out to be an epic disappointment at the box office after it fell badly in the second week. ## The Prabhas-fronted film recorded a historic fall of over 90% in the second week and scored just approx. 22.50 crores net collection in all versions. The first-week collection of 260 crores net was itself underwhelming considering the excellent opening weekend of 221 crores net. ## The total net collection of the film currently stands at a little over 282 crores (333 crores gross) and it is likely to finish its run under 300 crores net which is disappointing. The collection of Hindi versions is approx. 145 crores net, followed by the Telugu version with approx. 130 crores. The other versions have contributed around 7 crores net. ## "Adipurush" also couldn't hold well at the overseas box office and has grossed approx. 54 crores so far. This takes the total worldwide gross collection of the movie to approx. 387 crores in two weeks. The movie has some competition going forward which could further make it difficult for the film to sustain. Satyaprem Ki Katha Opening Day Advance Booking: Good In National Multiplex, Low In Single Screens

Mumbai, June 29 - Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani's much-awaited musical romantic drama film "Satyaprem Ki Katha" hits the big screen today. Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, SPKK had its special screening yesterday in which it received a good response. ## "Satyaprem Ki Katha" is one of the films that is aimed at multiple audiences and this was clearly visible in the screen sharing and the advance booking sales. The movie has been released on over 2000 screens in India, with the majority of screens allotted at national multiple chains. ## The movie scored a decent advance booking for the opening day with over 70K tickets sold (block seats excluded) which is still one of the highest for a Bollywood movie in 2023. Mumbai, June 28 - The third installment of Ajay Devgn-fronted Singham franchise is in the works as director Rohit Shetty is presently busy with rigorous pre-production on "Singham Again". The filmmaker is gearing up to start shooting by August this year and release it during Independence Day weekend 2024. ## Ajay Devgn returns as fierce cop Bajirao Singham in the upcoming movie that is touted to be the biggest cop film in Indian cinema in every aspect. It is a part of Shetty's cop universe, and it will also feature Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh as Veer Sooryavanshi and Simmba, respectively while Vicky Kaushal will reportedly make his cop universe debut. ## Now, according to Pinkvilla, superstar Akshay Kumar will have an extended appearance unlike Ranveer Singh and Vicky Kaushal in the film. "Akshay Kumar as Sooryavanshi arrives at a key juncture in Singham Again much like Singham in Simmba and Sooryavanshi. He is the ATS chief in this cop universe and has a key role in the investigation", says the report. ## It is said that the "Sooryavanshi" star will shoot for his extended appearance later this year and is super excited about it. Ranveer Singh too has a significant role in the movie which adds a flavor of humor and over-the-top elements to the screenplay. ## "Singham Again" is Rohit Shetty's most ambitious project and he is hell-bent to make it his biggest film yet after testing his first major flop in the form of Ranveer Singh-fronted "Cirkus" in December last year. The yet-untitled film will feature SRK in an extended cameo while it will mark Suhana's theatrical debut film. ## The movie will be produced by SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment and Siddharth Anand's Marflix Pictures. Now, according to Pinkvilla, the makers have locked Sujoy Ghosh to direct this action thriller flick. The industry has now big hopes for the musical romantic comedy film "Satyaprem Ki Katha" to conclude the first half of the year on high. ## The Sameer Vidwan-directed flick reunites Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani after the blockbuster "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2". The upcoming movie has been one of the most-anticipated ones of the duo and it is expected to start well at the box office.## The keenly-awaited film has been certified U/A by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with an approved runtime of 146 minutes (2 hours 26 minutes). According to the reports, "Satya Prem Ki Katha" will be released on over 2000 screens in India, with the majority of screens being of national multiplex chains. It is said that Varun Dhawan and others in the core team felt that it won't be a correct move as Karan Johar's "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani" releases on July 28. ## Varun Dhawan made his debut under Karan Johar's production with "Student of The Year" (2012) and share a special relationship with him. 'The Kerala Story' Makers Reunite For A New Film 'Bastar'; Release Date Locked

Mumbai, June 26 - Director Sudipto Sen and producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, who recently scored one of the biggest blockbusters of all-time in the form of "The Kerala Story", have reunited for a new film, titled "Bastar". ## The makers announced that "Bastar" is based on true events. The movie is about a terrorist attack in which 76 CRPF Jawans and 8 poor villagers were killed in Chintalner village of Dantewada District of Bastar, Chhattisgarh in April 2010. ## The film's poster featured a forest in the middle of huge and ominous clouds of smoke after gunshots and a red flag.
