Rani Mukerji-Led 'Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway' Gets A Release Date In Theaters
Mumbai, December 7 - Earlier in March this year, Ran Mukerji announced his next film, titled "Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway" on her 43rd birthday. Written and directed by Mere Dad Ki Maruti-fame Ashima Chibber, the movie revolves around a mother's battle against an entire country and is based on true events. ## Nearly 7 months later from the official announcement, producers Zee Studios and Emmay Entertainment have announced the release date. There were rumors that the movie would be released on OTT, and bursting those rumours, the makers confirm that the drama thriller will be released in theaters on 20th May 2022, Friday. ## "With the odds against her, this mother must fight it all and more to be strong for her children! In my 25th year in cinema, I have possibly signed one of the most special and significant films of my career. I started my career with Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, which was a woman-centric film, and coincidentally in my 25th year, I'm announcing a film that is also centered around a woman's resolve to fight against all odds and take on a country", Rani had said at the announcement of the film. ## "Mrs. Chatterjee Vs Norway" is produced by Nikkhil Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, and Monisha Advani of Emmay Entertainment will produce the movie in association with Zee Studios.
