Box Office: Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' Storms Past 300 Crores Gross Worldwide
Chennai, August 14 - Superstar Rajinikanth has made a roaring comeback with his latest blockbuster "Jailer" which is going bonkers at the box office, be it domestic or overseas. Nelson Dilipkumar's directorial action drama film grossed sensational 308 crores worldwide in the extended 4-day weekend, more than 130 crores than the lifetime collection of the superstar's last movie "Annaatthe" (2021).## "Jailer" grossed huge approx. 177 crores at the domestic box office, including approx. 82 crores in Tamil Nadu. On its fourth day/first Sunday, it grossed approx. 49.40 crores, the second biggest day of its run so far after the opening day of 56.60 crores. In Tamil Nadu, the movie recorded its biggest day on Sunday with approx. 24 crores, besting opening day numbers of approx. 23.50 crores.## At the overseas box office, "Jailer" has been sensational with approx. 131 crores gross ($15.8 million) over the 4-day weekend.
