'RRR' Poised To Set A New Box Office Record In Nizam By A Huge Margin

Hyderabad, March 20 - S S Rajamouli's magnum opus, "RRR" is readying to smash big screens worldwide on March 25. The period action drama, starring Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn, has been one of the most-awaited films for a long time now. It is seen as the potential highest-grosser of the year at the Indian box office.## Ahead of the massive worldwide release, "RRR" got a massive boost thanks to the hikes in ticket prices by the Telugu state governments. In the last one and a half years, Telugu movies have suffered a lot due to the low ticket prices but this won't be the case with "RRR", which will be released with maximum potential. ## Due to the massive hype and price hikes, "RRR" is on track to break the box office records. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, "RRR" is expected to score Rs. 50-60 crores gross share, which will be a record. SS Rajamouli Put Rumours To Rest Regarding The Casting Of SSMB29

Hyderabad, March 19 - S S Rajamouli, who is gearing up for the release of "RRR" on March 25, will next be teaming up with Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu for the first time. Touted to be a jungle adventure film, the project is currently scripting stage and will go on floors next year. ## While Rajamouli's film with Mahesh Babu is yet to be announced officially, there have been a lot of rumours regarding its cast, and plot details. In one of the recent media articles, it was reported that SSMB29 will also be a multistarrer just like "RRR".## During the media interaction today (March 19), Rajamouli has put all those rumours about the film's multi-star casting and said that there will be only one star in the film and that is Mahesh Babu. The film, which marks Kalyan's second collaboration with Shankar after "Gabber Singh", was titled "Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh", a year later after the announcement. ## The movie was supposed to go on floors in 2021, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, and Kalyan's already announced films, director Harish's film got delayed. Hyderabad, March 14 - Prabhas-fronted "Radhe Shyam" has had a very good weekend at the box office but it might find tough to get going from here on. While the reviews for the film are mixed, it is also in stiff competition with the Hindi movie "The Kashmir Files", at the box office. Vivek Agnihotri-directed has become a rage and is blowing away all other movies coming in its way. "Radhe Shyam", directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, has almost finished (surprisingly) at the Hindi box office in just 4 days. The Telugu version is still holding the fort but not enough to win the battle. Box Office: Radhe Shyam Emerges As The Biggest Indian Opener Of 2022

Hyderabad, March 12 - Prabhas' love affair with the box office continues!## It was a box office bonanza at the Indian box office on Friday when superstar and darling of the fans, Prabhas' "Radhe Shyam" shot up to the biggest opening for an Indian film in 2022. With Rs. 50.30 crores gross on the first day, "Radhe Shyam" has also become the second biggest Indian movie during the covid-19 pandemic, behind only Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise", which grossed a mighty Rs. 52.80 crores in December 2021. ## The Radha Krishna Kumar-directed, as expected, performed significantly well in the Telugu version, grossing Rs. 44.35 crores, including Rs. 37.60 crores in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The AP/TG area-wise gross for the opening day was Rs. 25.68 crores, which is the 11th biggest of all time. It also emerged as the 3rd biggest opener in Nizam with Rs. 10.80 crores gross share.## Apart from Telugu, the second biggest market for "Radhe Shyam" was Hindi, in which it performed lower than expected. The Hindi version contributed approx. Rs. 5.50 crores gross on Friday while other versions grossed approx. 45 lakhs. On the brighter side, "Radhe Shyam", scored the 5th biggest opening day in Hindi for a South Indian movie. ## Overseas, the period romantic film spread love all over and minted approx. Rs. 15 crores on the first day, helping worldwide cume to reach a super Rs. 65.30 crores.
