Naga Shaurya's Upcoming Romantic Comedy Titled 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari'

Hyderabad, Jan 22 (IANS) Director Anish R. Krishna's upcoming romantic comedy, featuring actor Naga Shaurya in the lead, has been titled 'Krishna Vrinda Vihari'.## The makers of the film released the title and the first look on the occasion of the actor's birthday on Saturday.## Produced by Ira Creations, the film has music by Mahati Swara Sagar and cinematography by Sai Sriram.## Krishna and Vrinda are the character names of the lead pair in the film. In the first look poster, Naga Shaurya can be seen with a 'niluvu bottu' (vertical tilak) and 'gandham' (sandalwood paste). He can be seen sprinkling water with a betel leaf, which is usually done as part of Hindu rituals.## Unlike his roles in previous films, Naga Shaurya will be seen playing a funny character in this one. Keerthy Suresh-Starrer 'Good Luck Sakhi' To Be Released On Jan 28

Chennai, Jan 22 (IANS) Director Nagesh Kukunoor's much-awaited Telugu film 'Good Luck Sakhi', featuring Keerthy Suresh and Aadhi in the lead roles, will finally hit screens on January 28 this year.## Keerthy Suresh confirmed the release of her film on Twitter. She tweeted: "We are so excited for you guys to see 'Good Luck Sakhi' in theatres near you from January 28".## The film's release has been postponed twice. It was originally supposed to hit screens on November 26. The release however got postponed to December 10.## Worth a Shot, the production house behind the film, then said that "due to unforeseen issues" the film would be "arriving on New Year's Eve (December 31, 2021)". Prabhas' Upcoming Films' List Gets Bigger With Two More Movies!

Hyderabad, January 22 - Pan-India star Prabhas is keeping himself super busy with back-to-back projects. Having done only 3 films in the last six years, the "Baahubali" actor seems to be in no mood to repeat the long gaps between his two movies going ahead. ## Prabhas, whose last release was "Saaho", already has a line-up of the confirmed Pan-India movies such as Radhe Shyam, Salaar, Adi Purush, Project K, and Spirit. While some of these movies have already been completed, some are about to go on floors or at different stages of production.## Now, according to reports, Prabhas has greenlit two more films. It was reported that the "Radhe Shyam" actor would be teaming up with "War" director Siddhartha Anand for an action thriller film. Everything now seems to be falling in a place under the production of Mythri Movies Makers and the official announcement will be made soon regarding the same.## Apart from Siddhartha Anand's film, which is a Pan-India project, Prabhas is also reportedly getting ready to do a film for a Telugu producer in the gap. Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo' Hindi Release Plans Locked

Mumbai, January 19 - Allu Arjun's Telugu blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" (2020) is gearing up the release of its Hindi version on January 26. After the unpreceded success of "Pushpa - The Rise" in Hindi belts, Allu Arjun proved his stardom in Hindi and now, the makers want to cash in the opportunity with one of his biggest blockbusters. ## Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms in association with AA Films acquired the Hindi dubbing rights of "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo". Normally, the dubbed versions of South Indian films do not release theatrically, however, the "Pushpa" success has installed enough confidence in makers to go for the big. ## In a recent chat with Bollywood Hungama, Manish Shah shared the release plans of the dubbed version of Telugu superstar's second highest-grosser of all time. He also called AVPL the biggest non-Baahubali hit down South. The producer has leid high hopes with this film as well and is hoping that AVPL will also create the same success as "Pushpa". ## Manish Shah revealed that the Hindi theatrical trailer of "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" will be released on January 20. The teaser was unveiled on January 18. As for the screen count, the producer put the record straight and said that they are targetting a single screen audience and eyeing around 2000 screens in the country.## Interestingly, "Pushpa - The Rise" has had the highest screen count for the Hindi version was around 1650, so releasing AVPL on 2000 screens will be a more than handful if it catches the attention of the audience. 'Pushpa - The Rise' Continues To Light Up Hindi Box Office Despite OTT Premiere

Mumbai, January 17 - Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise" is proving to be a long racehorse in the Hindi version. Directed by Sukumar, "Pushpa" hasn't been affected by the early OTT premiere, especially in the Hindi version as it continues to light up the box office. ## "Pushpa - The Rise" had a digital premiere of the Hindi version on January 14 on Amazon Prime Video after 28 days of theatrical release. Before "Pushpa" was started premiering on Prime Video, it had already netted over Rs. 84 crores in Hindi, making it the 3rd biggest Hindi total during the covid-19 pandemic. ## However, even after the OTT release, the Hindi version of the film continues to draw footfalls at the cinema halls as it netted approx Rs. 4.50 crores in the 5th weekend at the box office, taking the total collections to approx. Rs 89 crore. With no competition at the moment, the movie is taking the full use of a clear path and attracting people to theaters despite the covid-19 3rd wave and OTT premier. ## Maharashtra and Gujrat are driving the Hindi biz of "Pushpa - The Rise" and these two states are key in the film's race to enter Rs. 100 crores club. Hyderabad, January 16 - Megastar Chiranjeevi, and Ram Charan's much-awaited "Acharya" has been postponed to April 1st, 2022 due to the 3rd covid-19 wave. The makers had announced the postponement of "Acharya" on January 15, and a day later, the action thriller gets a new release date on April 1st. It was supposed to release on February 4. ## The April 1st release of "Acharya" means Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaaru Paata" will be postponed as speculated earlier. Chiranjeevi Meets Andhra CM Over Movie Ticket Pricing Row

Amaravati, Jan 13 (IANS) Amid a raging row between the Andhra Pradesh government and Tollywood over movie ticket prices, megastar Chiranjeevi called on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Thursday.## On the invitation of the Chief Minister, Chiranjeevi had a meeting with him over lunch at the latter's official residence at Tadepalli here. After reaching Gannavaram airport by a special flight from Hyderabad, the popular actor and former Central minister drove straight to the CM's house.## After the meeting that lasted for one-and-a-half hours, the actor told reporters at the airport that Reddy responded positively to the issues raised by him on behalf of the film industry, exhibitors, and theatre owners.## Terming the meeting fruitful, Chiranjeevi hoped that all the problems will be solved soon in a manner acceptable to all. Chiranjeevi said the Chief Minister assured him that a mutually acceptable decision will be taken.## Chiranjeevi quoted Reddy as saying that he will not take any one-sided decision. The CM also assured that nobody needs to feel insecure.## Reddy told Chiranjeevi that he will convey the issues raised by him to the committee constituted by the government, and a draft will be prepared following which Chiranjeevi will be invited again for consultation before the issuance of a government order.## The actor said he would discuss the draft with all the stakeholders in the industry, and he would be happy to take them along to meet the Chief Minister next time. Chiranjeevi also appealed to all in the industry to avoid issuing statements on the issue. "I am making a request not as an industry elder, but as a son of the industry," he said.## The meeting and Chiranjeevi's appeal came amid a bitter war of words between some Tollywood personalities and Cinematography Minister Perni Nani and leaders of the ruling YSR Congress party. Several producers, actors, exhibitors, and theatre owners have slammed the state government for slashing movie ticket prices, which has led to the closure of some cinemas.## Chiranjeevi said he apprised Reddy of the concerns of all in the wake of the uncertainty prevailing for the last few months. He said Reddy invited him as he wanted to hear the other side of the story.## While appreciating the government's intention to make entertainment affordable for the common man, Chiranjeevi put forward the problems of the film industry, exhibitors, theatre owners, and others.## "The film industry is not just glamour or rosy as it appears. There is hard work of many workers behind it. The majority of them work on daily wages," he said. The actor recalled that during the pandemic, many workers suffered a lot for four months as they did not get any work.## He said that similarly, workers in theatres are worried about losing their jobs due to closures. He claimed that the Chief Minister also responded positively for allowing theatres to have the fifth show on special occasions.## Chiranjeevi said he gave constructive suggestions and the Chief Minister wrote down some points.
