Opening Day Collection of Indian Films Released On Valentine Weekend

Mumbai, 13th Feb 2022: The box office has restarted today with many releases at the ticket window. The flow of releases which stopped for a while after the Xmas period has seen new releases on the ongoing weekend. Though there was not a single major release except Ravi Teja's Khiladi, it is always a positive sign when many small films are running in the cinemas. ## Speaking about the box office collections on 11th February, Khiladi fronted by Ravi Teja has come out as a winner with a 7.85 Cr Gross opening day collection however, looking at the size of the film Khiladi is, the opening is decent only. ## The next best collections came from FIR with a 2.20 Cr Gross collection. Badhaai Do which was a mid-sized film from the Hindi film industry has collected a 1.95 Cr gross opening day collection. Love Mocktail 2 has collected a gross of 1.70 Cr on opening day at the box office. ## Movies with the highest single-day collections today (11th February) ## 1. Khiladi: 7.85 Cr ## 2. FIR: 2.20 Cr ## 3. BadhaiDo: 1.95 Cr ## 4. Love Mocktail 2: 1.70 Cr ## *The collections reported in the gross figures. ## There was a Saturday release in Tollywood, DJ Tillu which had a good advance booking and collected around 6 Cr gross which makes it one of the biggest Valentine releases this year. ## As said above, The collections of all the films are ordinary but the positive thing is box office has restarted again and the hope is that it continues without any break. 'Pushpa - The Rise' Scores A Solid 8th Week At The Hindi Box Office

Mumbai, February 12 - There is no one stopping Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer "Pushpa - The Rise" at the Hindi box office. The action entertainer's dream Hindi box office run continued in its 8th week, earning Rs. 2.76 crores. ## Directed by Sukumar, the "Pushpa - The Rise" Hindi collection after the 8th week has climbed to Rs. 104.02 crores. It is currently the 88th highest-grossing Hindi film at the Indian box office. Over its 8th week run, the film crossed Ajay Devgn-fronted films "Bol Bachchan" (103.12 crores), and "Raid" (103.07 crores). ## According to the available box office data, "Pushpa - The Rise" has become the 3rd biggest earner at the Hindi box office in the 8th week, after "Gadar: Ek Prem Katha" (Rs. 4.10 crores), and "Uri: The Surgical Stike" (Rs. 3.83 crores). While the other two movies were outright Bollywood films, "Pushpa" is a dubbed version, proving how strong the film has performed, surpassing all the expectations. ## So what are the further expectations from "Pusha" in Hindi? From here on, the Allu Arjun-fronted film will struggle to maintain the pace due to the new releases. Producer Naga Vamsi Spill The Beans On Jr. NTR's Film With Trivikram Srinivas

Hyderabad, February 11 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR announced in 2021 that he would be collaborating with Trivikram Srinivas again for a Pan-India movie. The duo had earlier joined hands for "Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava", which was released in October 2018 and was a box office hit. ## Haarika & Hassine Creations, which had produced "Aravinda Sametha", announced in January 2021 that the action-director duo will be reuniting for another film. However, there were some reports that all is not well between them and the movie was reportedly shelved. Later, Trivikram picked Mahesh Babu's film, which was recently launched in Hyderabad while NTR joined hands with Koratal Siva for his next. ## Now, it seems that Jr. NTR's film with the ace filmmaker will be produced by Naga Vamsi under his banner Sithara Entertainments. During a recent media conversation, Naga Vamsi spilled the beans about this much-awaited film and said that it will be made on a huge scale and will be a Pan-India project. ## "We have planned it on a huge scale. The concept of the movie is really interesting, and NTR will be seen in a never-before role. Trivikram Srinivas has penned a mind-blowing story, which we believe has a potential to reach pan-India", Naga Vamsi said, according to Telangana Today. ## NTR's film with Trivikram will only start after both complete their current commitments. Trivikram will soon start the shooting of Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde's yet-untitled film while Jr. NTR will also commence filming Koratala Siva's film that is going to be a Pan-India project. Alia Bhatt will reportedly play the female lead opposite NTR in the film. ## Jr. NTR also has a film with KGF director Prashanth Neel. It was announced officially last year and will begin after Koratal Siva's film. Pawan Kalyan, Rana Daggubati's 'Bheemla Nayak' To Have A Simultaneous Hindi Release In Theaters

Mumbai, February 11 - The south Indian films are expanding their wings and announcing simultaneous Hindi theatrical releases. After the blockbuster success of Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise", Tamil biggies, "Valimai" and "Etharkkum Thunindhavan" were also announced for Hindi dubbed release while Ravi Teja's Telugu movie "Khiladi" is currently playing in theaters also in Hindi. ## Keeping the trend going, the makers of Pawan Kalyan and Ran Daggubati-starrer "Bheemla Nayak" are also gearing up to release the film in the Hindi dubbed version along with the original Telugu language. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi confirms the Hindi release of the most-anticipated movie. ## In one of his recent interviews, when Naga Vamsi was quizzed about "Bheemla Nayak", he said, "I am confident that the movie will be a super hit. That is why we have opted for its Hindi release as well".## "Though Bheemla Nayak is an adaptation of Malayalam movie, Ayyappanum Koshiyum, the audience will be thoroughly entertained. We have taken the storyline from the original movie. Our writer Trivikram Srinivas has done a fantastic job in the script work", Naga Vamsi explained.## Directed by Sagar K Chandra, "Bheemla Nayak" marks Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati's maiden collaboration. Prabhas' Film With Director Maruthi, 'Raja Deluxe' To Be Launched Soon

By surprising one and all, it registered a gigantic success in Hindi by crossing Rs. 100 crores net collection, a rarity in current circumstances for a dubbed version.## Meanwhile, the makers of "Pushpa" celebrate the movie's successful 50 days at the box office with an official social media post. 'Bheemla Nayak' Producer Says Movie's Release Date Depends On AP CM Jagan Reddy

Hyderabad, February 4 - Tollywood superstar Pawan Kalyan and Rana Daggubati-starrer "Bheemla Nayak" is ready for the theatrical release. After the recently implemented restrictions on theaters due to the 3rd covid-19 wave, the makers of "Bheemla Nayak" have blocked two dates - 25 February and 1 April. ## While the makers are ready to release the film on the first date, it also depends on the current circumstances. Producer Suryadevara Naga Vamsi, when asked about when will "Bheemla Nayak" be released, said that it all depends on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Reddy. ## Speaking at the "DJ Tillu" theatrical trailer launch, the producer confirmed that as soon as the restrictions are lifted, the movie will be released. "You must ask Jagan Garu about this. Alia Bhatt Confirms Doing Jr. NTR's Next With Director Koratala Siva

Jr. NTR To Launch Two Films Before Starting Director Prashanth Neel's Next?

Hyderabad, February 2 - Telugu superstar Jr. NTR has devoted more than 3 years of his career to director SS Rajamouli's magnum opus "RRR", which is scheduled to release in theaters worldwide on March 25. He was last seen in "Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava" (2018), which was directed by Trivikram Srinivas. ## After the release of his last film, NTR has been working on "RRR" since then, and in between, he announced two more films each with Koratala Siva and Prashanth Neel. He was supposed to begin Siva's film last year, but due to the delay in "RRR", the movie couldn't get on floors as planned originally. ## The movie with director Koratala Siva is now set to be launched this month. Tentatively titled "NTR 30", the movie will feature Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt as the female lead opposite NTR for the first time. SSMB28: Mahesh Babu's Next With Trivikram Srinivas To Begin In April 2022

Hyderabad, February 2 - Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu is teaming up with the master storyteller Trivikram Srinivas for a new film, tentatively titled #SSMB28. ## The duo of Mahesh Babu and Trivikram is coming together after nearly 12 years for their 3rd collaboration. Earlier, they collaborated for Athadu (2005), and Khaleja (2010), which were big hits. "SSMB 28" was announced in May last year and finally, it is set to take flight. ## On Thursday (Feb. 3), the film has been launched in style with a pooja ceremony at Rama Naidu Studios in Hyderabad in the presence of director Trivikram, Mahesh Babu's wife Namrata Shirodkar, and the leading actress of the film, Pooja Hegde. The superstar himself didn't attend the ceremony. ## The clapboard has been sounded by Namrata Shirodkar for the first shot on Pooja Hegde. "SSMB 28" marks Pooja Hegde's second collaboration with Mahesh Babu after their National Award-winning film "Maharshi" (2019). The new movie is to be produced by S Radhakrishna under the production house Haarika & Hassine Creations. ## Several noted actors and popular technicians will be associated with this project for which the announcement will be made in due course. The regular shoot will begin in April this year. Thaman S will score the music for the film.## Meanwhile, Mahesh Babu will next be seen in "Sarkaru Vaari Paata", which is slated for May 13th release this year. Hyderabad, January 31 - The covid-19 pandemic is still taking a toll on the Indian film industry as the release dates of the tentpole titles are getting reshuffled again. The entire release calendar (apart from a few films) of the first half of 2022 has been rescheduled. ## Apart from the reshuffling of the release dates this year, there might be a couple of films that may get pushed to the next year. One such film is "Salaar", starring Prabhas. The Kannada - Telugu bilingual movie, directed by Prashanth Neel, was slated to release in April this year. However, the movie is still under production and might take a significant time in the post-production work. ## "Salaar" is being made on a bigger scale and it will reportedly be darker than Yash-starrer "KGF", which is also directed by Neel under the same production house, Hombale Films. Going by the recent reports and strong buzz, "Salaar", just like "KGF", will also be released in two parts, with the first part is now slated for the 2023 release. ## Since the entire 2022 is packed with blockbuster titles, the makers of "Salaar" have reportedly decided to release the first part of the film in 2023. Though there is no official confirmation yet, the big push, however, looks inevitable considering the fact that the movie is yet to be completed, plus, there is hardly any clear release window left in 2022. It is a Pan-India film and will release in multiple languages. ## Prabhas, meanwhile, will still have two releases this year in the form of "Radhe Shyam", and "Adipurush". Directed by Radha Krishan Kumar, "Radhe Shyam" will be released on March 11 after being pushed from January 14.
