Mumbai, Jan 13 (IANS) The trailer of Taapsee Pannu and Tahir Raj Bhasin's comedy-thriller 'Looop Lapeta' was released on Thursday.## It shows an exhilarating journey of Savi, essayed by Taapsee Pannu as she tries to save the life of her boyfriend Satya, played by Tahir Raj Bhasin when he loses cash belonging to a mobster in a gambling bid. The film, which is based on the German experimental thriller 'Run Lola Run', is helmed by debutant director Aakash Bhatia.## Taapsee said, "'Looop Lapeta' is a film that will always be very close to my heart. Mumbai, Jan 13 (IANS) Actor Simba Nagpal, who was evicted from 'Bigg Boss 15' during a task when Pratik Sehajpal eliminated him and saved Neha Bhasin, is now all set to enter the house as a wild card contestant.## Though earlier he denied re-entering the show, saying he is not interested in useless fights but now as per sources close to him, Simba has decided to be part of 'Bigg Boss 15' again as a wild card contestant.## Simba was often criticized for just being lazy, sleeping all the time, and not contributing much to the show. In an interview with IANS, he replied: "Well I really don't understand what the show wanted from me. They wanted me to raise issues, get into unnecessary arguments just to seek attention. I can't be like this".## Post his eviction many called it unfair as he was not evicted on the basis of getting fewer votes but rather because of the housemates. It would be interesting to know how his game is going to be after his entry this time especially with Pratik Sehajpal as he was evicted because of him.## He was quite chilled out during his eviction and said: "This is not a daily soap where we need to create drama, I believe in reality shows one needs to be real and that is what I did on the show. The movie's first-look poster was launched on Wednesday.## The film marks the Telugu OTT debut of the popular actress who shot to fame in the digital space with 'The Family Man'. Captioned 'a delicious home-cooked thriller', 'Bhamakalapam' is directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti, of 'Dear Comrade' fame, with filmmaker Bharat Kamma as the showrunner.## The first-look poster has Priyamani as a homemaker in an avatar resembling Goddess Durga and her various dimensions in a typical household. She's simultaneously holding a knife, a basket, a plate of biryani, a broom, an egg, and a pooja-room bell while peeping into something as if she's holding binoculars in her hand.## The poster, highlighted with different hues across the kitchen, hints that the lead character is a woman of many shades and can tackle any crisis that comes her way. NCW Objects To Trailer Of Mahesh Manjrekar's Upcoming Film

New Delhi, Jan 12 (IANS) The National Commission for Women (NCW) has expressed displeasure over the trailer of filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar's Marathi film "Nay Varan Bhat Loncha Kon Koncha".## The commission has received a complaint from an organization in Maharashtra over the trailer of the film. NCW chief Rekha Sharma has written a letter to the Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, to censor the bold and sexually explicit scenes in the film's trailer.## A copy of the letter has also been sent to the chairman of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), Prasoon Joshi. A complaint was made to the NCW on behalf of the Bharatiya Stree Shakti regarding the trailer of this film.## In the complaint, it was alleged that the trailer of the film, which was released on January 10, 2022, showed objectionable scenes and obscenity related to women.## Rekha Sharma has urged the Secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting to intervene immediately and censor the explicit sex scenes in the trailer and the film.## The NCW has also expressed displeasure over the fact that the trailer is being circulated to the viewers on social media platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc., without any age restrictions.## Also, the NCW has urged the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and the CBFC to provide updates on the action being taken on the issue.## Stay tuned...

London, Jan 12 (IANS) The British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has revealed its longlists of nominees across 24 categories for its upcoming film awards, reports 'Variety'.## 'No Time to Die', 'Belfast', 'West Side Story', 'The Power of the Dog' and 'Don't Look Up' are among the leading films announced on Wednesday following the first round of votes. Of the 217 films submitted for consideration, 15 made the cut for Round Two.## As reported by 'Variety' on Monday, 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' was not included in any longlist after "failing to meet eligibility criteria", according to BAFTA. The film's producers had originally sought that it be considered for the best picture and best special effects categories.## Among the 15 leading actresses who made it to Round Two, the prominent names include Olivia Colman ('The Lost Daughter'), Lady Gaga ('House of Gucci'), Alana Haim ('Licorice Pizza'), Jennifer Hudson ('Respect'), Emilia Jones ('CODA') and Nicole Kidman ('Being The Ricardos').## The 15 actors in the longlist include two British Pakistanis -- Riz Ahmed ('Encounter') and Adeel Akhtar 'Ali & Ava' -- Mahershala Ali ('Swan Song'), Javier Bardem ('Being The Ricardos'), Daniel Craig ('No Time To Die'), Benedict Cumberbatch ('The Power of the Dog') and Leonardo DiCaprio ('Don't Look Up').## Round Two voting, to determine the nominations in the member-voted categories, will be open from January 14 to 27.
