Aamir khan was coming after the Record-breaking success of Dhoom3 and the film was a Raju Hirani directorial who earlier directed Aamir Khan in 3idiots which was a massive Blockbuster and hence the expectations were sky-high for this Comedy-Drama. ## The opening of the film was excellent in premium multiplexes and Good to average in other centers but the film picked up from the evening onwards due to the appreciation and recorded an excellent overall figure of more than 25 Cr on its the first day. The Weekend saw huge growth with a massive 90 Cr plus total. Mumbai, Dec 16, 2021: There have been few films that had done decently well at the box office whose run gonna end as the box office will see the release of juggernaut called Spiderman: No Way Home. ## The first film which brought the audience back to the theatre - Sooryavanshi which was released on Diwali saw a huge Opening-weekend. The film had good enough public reports and trended well since its weekend. There have been few circuits that didn't perform for Sooryavanshi but the Blockbuster business in Maharashtra and Gujarat had nullified that. The Total collections of Sooryavanshi now stand at 195.22 Cr plus and the film is looking to finish its theatrical run at around 196 Cr. ## The 2nd film which did well theatrically post the release of Sooryavanshi was Antim: The Final Truth starring Ayush Sharma and supported by the much-hyped extended cameo of Salman Khan. The film had seen good first weekend collections and just like Sooryavanshi, the reports were good for Antim too. As a result, Antim had seen healthy collections over weekdays to give a total of 39.40cr till now. Antim will finish its theatrical run at 40 Cr. The film has emerged as a successful film in trade terms. ## The 3rd film which had done well was Tadap which was the debut film of Suniel Shetty's Son Ahan Shetty. The music of the film was well-received and despite the new face, the film got good footfalls in its theatrical run.
