Mumbai, Dec 15, 2021: Even before the lockdown has been imposed - the two most awaited Hindi films were 'Sooryavanshi' starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Rohit Shetty and '83' starring Ranveer Singh. ## Sooryavanshi has released on Diwali and did excellent business by bringing in all sections of an audience from masses to class audience. The film is still going well even after premiering on Netflix and is expected to finish its theatrical run with collections of over 196 Cr. ## Now the wait is for 83 which is the 2nd most important film for the Hindi film industry after Sooryavanshi. Recently, according to a source, 83 got a censor certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). ## “The film has been passed with a clean ‘U’ certificate. In short, it does not have a single cut. The makers anticipated this as it is a period sports drama and nothing is disturbing in the film." ## 83 is based on the Indian cricket team’s unbelievable victory in the 1983 World Cup. Directed by Kabir Khan, the film stars Ranveer Singh as Kapil Dev and Deepika Padukone as Kapil’s wife. The yet-to-be-titled flick will be produced by DVV Danayya, who recently spoke at a series of press meets to promote 'Roudram Ranam Rudhiram' along with SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR, and Ram Charan. ## Kudumula has only made two films ('Chalo' and 'Bheeshma'), both with non-superstars. Chiru, who awaits the release of Koratala Siva's 'Acharya' in February 2022, is also doing 'Bholaa Shankar', 'Godfather', and a movie with Bobby. The numbers look even bigger as it is coming after the pandemic and that too for a Thursday release which is not normal for the trade and people. ## The Three Marvel Giants - Infinity War (2018), Avengers Endgame(2019), And Spiderman: No way home leads the Biggest advance on its opening day in India. There were huge Bollywood films like War and Thugs Of Hindustan but they just cannot stand in front of marvel-giants like Infinity War, Endgame, and Spiderman: Far From Home as far as first 24 hours sales go. ## Spiderman: No way Home has collected more than 6.56 Cr which is more than what infinity war had collected in 2018 which was around 5.02 Cr. However, in 2019 Avengers Endgame had collected more with 8.27 Cr collections. Mumbai, Dec 14, 2021: Netflix's India plans are changing — with the prices dropping significantly. Starting today, you will see savings from about 18 to 60 percent, depending on the Netflix plan you subscribe to. ## The Netflix “Mobile” plan, previously at Rs. 199 per month, has dropped 25 percent to Rs. 149 per month. The biggest savings are in store for the “Basic” Netflix plan — previously available at Rs. 499 per month, it will now cost just Rs. 199 per month in India. Going up the ladder, the “Standard” Netflix plan has been cut down from Rs. 649 per month to Rs. 499 per month. That's a 23 percent saving. That leaves the Netflix “Premium” plan, which goes from Rs. 799 per month to Rs. 649 per month. The four Netflix plans available in India have each dropped prices to the one below them, with “Mobile” occupying a new slot at Rs. 149. ## If you already have a Netflix subscription, you will be seamlessly upgraded to the higher plan starting today. The next time you log in, members will get a notification on their devices that asks them to Confirm Upgrade or choose a different plan if they so desire. For those on the top Netflix “Premium” plan, the change in pricing will come into effect from the next billing cycle.
