Mumbai, April 2 - Bholaa witnessed its biggest day at the box office thanks to the holiday on Sunday as the early estimate collections suggest a 13.50-14.50 crores net box office mark. The collection is good for the type of film Bholaa which is devoid of commercial elements like Music, comedy, and fun moments. The film is an action film but in a very dark zone which the family audience does not prefer. The collections are also coming during the time of Ramzan which affects the business. ## The growth of the film came majorly in the single screens while multiplexes remained flat which was expected as metro cities do not see growth on Sunday, especially for a desi mass action film. The film has comfortably beaten yesterday's collections though it could have added one crore more to its collections. ## The first Sunday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 44.25cr which is a good number but considering the first day was a partial holiday and then a national holiday on Sunday the film should have crossed the 50 crores net mark. The collections till now are decent and it will all boil down to the first Monday for Bholaa to stay in the race to cross the 100cr mark. Mumbai, April 1 - Bholaa which had a decent first two days fired well today at the box office with strong growth across all the circuits. The growth also looks big due to the second day being lower than expected but still, it's a good achievement for the film to show big growth like this on Saturday despite the film not being multiplex-friendly. ## The early estimate collections suggest 12 crores net on its first Saturday. The final collections could vary a little. This is the biggest day at the box office for Bholaa as it's comfortably beaten its opening day and it will be a huge plus if the numbers of tomorrow beat today's numbers. The first Saturday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 30.50cr net. The four-day weekend is set to be around the 45cr mark which is decent but a 50cr weekend would have put the film into a much better position. ## The important day for Bholaa is going to be on Monday and the film has to sustain for a good few weeks run at the box office. There are a few holidays next week which will help the film. Mumbai, March 31 - Bholaa which had a decent opening day of 11.20 crores net has shown a drop of around 35% on its second day. The drop was expected as the first day was helped by the partial holiday of Ram Navami and films do drop after partial holidays or national holidays especially when the next day is a working day but here the drop is more than expected especially considering the first day was not a big day at the box office. ## The early estimate collections suggest 7+ crores net on the first Friday. This will take the first two days of collections to around the 18.20cr net box office mark. Tomorrow is Saturday and the film should show a growth of around 20-25% or even more to come at the first-day levels. The combined business of Saturday and Sunday should be around the 30cr net mark for any chance of survival at the box office. ## Single screens continue to draw a big audience, especially in the mass circuits of UP and Bihar, also this is where Ajay Devgn has the biggest popularity. Mumbai, 30th March 2023: The big release of the day Bholaa starring Ajay Devgn in the titular role has been released at the box office. The film has been released on Thursday to take the Advantage of Ram Navami holiday which is huge in the northern circuits and Bholaa as a film caters more to those northern circuits due to the action factor so it was a good decision to come on Thursday. ## Bholaa took a decent opening In the morning shows in terms of occupancies but multiplexes started on a poor note which was expected due to the action film and also Bholaa tilt more towards the dark zone. The opening is well on the single screens due to the Ajay Devgn and action factor and also due to the partial holiday. ## The early estimates of collections are set to be around the 11cr net box office mark which is a decent start for a film like Bholaa if the weekend sees good growth. The opening has given the film a chance to succeed at the box office while the weekend will determine whether it is a hit film or not. The opening of the film is similar to the likes of Shamshera and Samrat Prithviraj though it is lower than Tu Jhuthi Main Makkar and also the last Ajay Devgn film Drishyam2. ## Bholaa might see a drop tomorrow as it will be a working Friday after the first day which was a partial holiday and also it consumed a good chunk of business. The word of mouth will come into play tomorrow and if it is positive then the film will have a good trajectory over the weekend. ##

Mumbai, March 13 - Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar is heading for a decent hold on the first Monday of its box office run as the early estimates collections suggest 6-6.50 crores net. The hold is decent which is approx. 40% from Friday. The drop is, however, a bit higher because it does not have much to offer to the mass audience as it is catering to a small pool audience of multiplexes. ## The first Monday collections will take the total collections of the film to over 76cr net box office mark which is a good number, especially seeing the performance of the last few films. The extended first-week collections of the film will be around 88-90cr. Again a good number but it should have done better considering the cast and the budget of the film.## It's tough to say whether Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar will become a hit film at the box office. If the film had shown under 50% drop then there was a chance but it seems difficult now. Yes, Sunday is a holiday but still recording the highest single-day collection on the fifth day of the release needs positive feedback from the audience and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar got that. Monday is still to come which will decide the fate of the film but the trajectory of the film has turned out to be a positive sign for the film after a decent to good initial. ## The early estimates suggest the first Sunday collection around 17.50 crores net which will be around one crore higher than yesterday's collections. More than collections it is the upward trajectory that looks solid as multiplex catering film shows their best days on Saturday and here Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar has gone over it's the best day on Sunday which is excellent. ## The first Sunday collections will take the extended five-day weekend collections of the film to around the 70cr net box office mark which is a good number. If the film shows a good hold on Monday then there is a chance of a hit film though a lot of work has to be done for that. The film should double its extended weekend collections in its lifetime run to get a hit verdict as the budget of the film is massive, especially for this genre of films.## The performance of the film till now is good. Mumbai, March 11 - Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar Which had done good business on the first weekend especially considering Wed-Fri weekend is heading for a big day at the box office. The film is showing around 50% growth which is a big growth. ## The growth was expected as the initial first days were average to good only since the film caters more to the urban audience the growth in the multiplexes are huge. It would have been more impressive if the masses had liked the film so it would have helped the film to show far bigger growth but that is asking too much.## As per the early estimates, the movie scored in the range of 16-17 crores net on its first Saturday/fourth day which would be the highest single-day collection of the film, final numbers, however, may vary. The first Saturday collections will take the total collections of the film to around the 52.50 crores net mark. Sunday is yet to come so the extended five-day weekend is looking to be in the range of 68-70cr which will be a fantastic result. ## The growth on Sunday may not be like Saturday but the film can still collect around Saturday figures. It will all boil down to Monday which will decide the fate of this film. Mumbai, March 10 - Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar which had a good collection on the first two days is heading for another steady day at the box office as the collection is set to be in the same range as those of yesterday. As per the early estimates, the movie scored 10.5-11 crores net on its first Friday/third day. There is a drop in some centers, especially in the Mumbai circuit but then some centers of Delhi-NCR have gone up. Overall the collections are similar.## The first Friday collections will take the total collections of the film to around 37 crores mark which is a good weekend number when you consider that it's not a regular Friday-Sunday weekend but a mid-weekend of Wednesday-Friday. The film was helped by the Holi holiday on the first day though it was not a universal holiday as many circuits had a Holi holiday falling a day earlier with the Mumbai circuit being the biggest miss. ## The film already has 37 crores in its hand before the two biggest days are yet to arrive and hopefully, they record the highest single days collections going over the 15 crores mark. If this happens then the film will have a high chance of emerging as a hit film but if these two days do not fire then the film might have to settle with a non-hit tag. ## The film has been appreciated by the target audience through the repeat value of the film is not that much which can be seen by the numbers. The extended weekend business of around the 65cr mark would be a good result while anything less than 60cr would mean an underperformance. ## There will be a jump in collections tomorrow but the film should not show a regular Saturday jump of around 20-25% as that is given. The film should show around 45-50% growth for healthy extended weekend collections. Multiplexes generally record their biggest jumps on Saturday and this film even caters to the multiplex audience more so it won't be a surprise if the film shows a near 50% growth tomorrow if the film really has been appreciated.## Stay tuned...

A drop around 25-30% would have been ideal but here the drop is likely to be around 40% as the early estimates suggest approx. 9-9.50 crores net on its second day.## The drop has also confirmed that the opening day number was hugely helped by the Holi holiday. The second-day collections will take the first two days of collections to around 24.75 crores net mark. Mumbai, March 8 - The big Holi release of the day "Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar" starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has been released in theaters. The Luv Ranjan's directorial took a good start in the morning shows and since then the film has seen only an upward trajectory. The night shows are fantastically driven by multiplexes. The opening day early estimates collections suggest in the range of 14 crores net which is a good number for a rom-com genre film. The opening day number came due to the chartbuster music and fresh pairing of Ranbir and Shraddha. The opening ranges from decent to good to even excellent in some centers but the overall number suggests a good opening. If it was a normal Friday release then the film might have crossed the 15 crores net mark easily.## Last Year's Holi release "Bachchan Pandey" collected around 13 crores net on the first day though it had a clash with Kashmir Files which was running riot at the box office. The opening of TJMM is at par with Bachchan Pandey which was a mass film for the northern audience where Holi is one of the biggest festivals. ## The reports of the film are good so the film can score good numbers from this opening day. Ideally when a film does around the 15cr net mark and the reports are positive then the film should cross the 100-125cr net box office mark and this should be the target of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar. The real value opening of Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar would be known by tomorrow's collections as today the collections were helped by the Holi holiday in most of the circuits. ## The film might show a drop tomorrow as it will be working Thursday not Saturday where the collections get boosted in the night shows. There is not much to say as the numbers say all. The first Sunday collection will take the first weekend to around 10.25cr which is again a very low weekend which is not expected from an Akshay Kumar film but when a film has so much less to offer to the audience then no star can save the film.## the film will hardly collect from here and it won't be surprising that the film collects under 1cr from here on. The lifetime collections will depend on the first Monday but it does not look like the film will cross the 25cr mark that hardly matters whether the film crosses the 25 cr mark or not as the film has already emerged as a disaster at the box office.## There will be doubt about Akshay Kumar's stardom, especially after the post-pandemic era but we believe Akshay Kumar remains one of the biggest stars of the Hindi film industry and he will bounce back as soon as a universally appealing film comes. Akshay Kumar is probably the second biggest star after Salman Khan in tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Mumbai, February 25 - Selfiee starring Akshay Kumar took one of the lowest openings ever featuring a major star, and there is no respite on the second day as well. The comedy-drama continues to struggle at the box office as early estimate collections suggest around 3.25-3.50 crores net on Saturday. This is probably the first time that the film has become a disaster at the box office so quickly. The film became a disaster before the day of its release only due to a lukewarm advance but the first-day collections sealed the fate of the film.## There will be growth on Sunday but the film is in a position where even 100% growth cannot stop it from becoming a disaster of epic proportions. It won't be surprising if the film finishes its first weekend around 10cr only or even lower than that when the least expectations were of a double-digit opening and here the film will struggle to hit that number in the first three days.## Akshay Kumar is one of the biggest stars of the Hindi film industry and even the naysayers will agree with that. He is a star with probably the most hit and successful films but he needs to reinvent himself now and cut down his films by at least 50%. A huge star like Akshay Kumar should not be doing these sorts of films because it does not justify the stature of a star.
