Kevin Owens Seemingly Refers Adam Cole On 10/13/23 WWE SmackDown

During a recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Kevin Owens made a notable reference to Adam Cole. It's worth noting that Adam Cole, a former WWE talent, unfortunately suffered a broken ankle during AEW Dynamite Grand Slam on September 20, 2023. ## In a subsequent Twitch stream just a few days after the injury occurred, Cole shared that his recovery would involve undergoing two surgeries, with eight screws and a plate being implanted in his ankle. ## It's important to highlight the close friendship between AEW's Adam Cole and Kevin Owens. Interestingly, these two talented wrestlers never had the opportunity to face each other in a one-on-one match within the WWE, as Cole transitioned to AEW. Nevertheless, wrestling fans might recall their participation on opposite sides during the 2019 NXT TakeOver: WarGames bout. ## In a post-show interview with Cathy Kelley, Kevin Owens made a poignant mention of Adam Cole. He expressed concern for his friend named Adam, who had just undergone a very serious surgical procedure on that particular day. ## “I have a friend named Adam who had a very serious surgery today, he’s at the hospital now recovering, just wanna say Adam, we love you, we’re with you & take care of yourself buddy.” ## As has been reported, on the episode of WWE SmackDown that aired on October 13, Kevin Owens underwent an official brand transfer from WWE Raw to the SmackDown brand. ## ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Talks About Bringing CM Punk Back To WWE Are Dead Right Now

Chicago, 13 October - Recent reports had indicated that WWE was optimistic about the possibility of CM Punk returning to the company. Following his departure from AEW, speculation had been swirling about his future, and insiders within WWE believed that Punk might entertain the idea of signing with WWE if they showed interest. ## Throughout the past year, there were hints that Punk was open to the idea of returning to WWE. However, no official talks between him and WWE had been confirmed. In the last few days, there have been reports suggesting that WWE is not actively pursuing CM Punk's return to the company.## In late September, it appeared that there were preliminary inquiries made by Punk to WWE to gauge their interest. Some within WWE suggested that having a direct conversation with Vince McMahon would be the most effective way to secure a return. It's worth noting that Vince McMahon had previously expressed a lack of interest in bringing Punk back, even though Fox had advocated for his return before he joined AEW. ## However, on Tuesday, all reports indicated that Vince McMahon, Nick Khan, and Triple H had decided against bringing Punk back to WWE. ## In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer confirmed that discussions between the two parties had concluded with a definitive "no" regarding the possibility of WWE rehiring him. ## But It was also noted that the door is not completely closed because it’s wrestling. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Predicting Top 3 Things To Happen On 10/13/23 WWE SmackDown

Boston, 13 October - Here are the three key elements that I feel are essential for the upcoming edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Currently, four significant segments have already been confirmed.## Firstly, an extraordinary appearance is scheduled for Triple H. Additionally, John Cena is set to return to the SmackDown stage. One of the show's highlights will be Roman Reigns making his triumphant return to SmackDown. ## In another exciting development, Pretty Deadly is set to go head-to-head with the Brawling Brutes in their first match since Elton Prince suffered an injury. ## Let's check out the top 3 things: ## #1. Roman Reigns To Get His Next Opponent ## It was announced that Roman Reigns will make his return to SmackDown. Reigns' last in-ring appearance was on the August 11th episode of SmackDown, where he engaged in a heated brawl with Jey Uso. ## Since his absence from WWE TV, The Bloodline has collected a couple of rivalries with some top stars in WWE. They have issues with AJ Styles, John Cena, and LA Knight with more factions and alliances attempting to take over SmackDown. ## #2. John Cena, AJ Styles, and LA Knight To Confront Roman Reigns ## Roman Reigns is poised to make his SmackDown return tomorrow night, and he hints at potential rivalries with luminaries such as AJ Styles, John Cena, and LA Knight. He suggests that one of them might emerge as a challenger for the title at Crown Jewel. ## In my opinion, WWE could stage a Triple Threat match featuring John Cena, AJ Styles, and LA Knight to determine the contender for Reigns' championship. The victor of this contest would earn the right to challenge Reigns for the title. ## #3. Bobby Lashley vs. Rey Mysterio To Be Added To WWE Crown Jewel ## Lashley and Mysterio have had their fair share of conflicts. In the recent episode of SmackDown, Lashley emerged victorious over Mysterio in a non-title bout. However, it appears that this match didn't provide a conclusive outcome. Therefore, it seems likely that they are preparing for a championship clash at Crown Jewel. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk...

Hunter reminisces about the electrifying crowd and the recent success at Fastlane, signaling the start of Smackdown's season premiere. ## Hunter praises WWE official Adam Pearce for his outstanding work over the past three years, managing both Raw and Smackdown. He announces a promotion for Pearce, making him the new General Manager of Raw, and introduces the Smackdown General Manager, Nick Aldis. ## Dominik Mysterio questions the decision, citing issues from Fastlane, but Hunter clarifies that Adam's role is on Raw, and Dominik should discuss his concerns with Smackdown's General Manager, Nick Aldis.## Nick Aldis enters the ring, and after some dismissive comments from Dominik, Kevin Owens arrives, stunning Dominik.
