Paul Heyman's Bold Claim: Roman Reigns Has Redefined The Industry

Paul Heyman has showered praise upon Roman Reigns for his great accomplishments since his return to WWE at SummerSlam 2020. Reigns has embarked on a worth-remembring streak, becoming the longest-reigning Universal Champion in history and one of the longest-reigning WWE World Champions overall. Notably, he secured the WWE Title at WrestleMania and has remained undefeated in singles competition since December 2019. Such a great reign has prompted WWE to introduce a new World Heavyweight Championship in an effort to restore balance. ## Assisting Reigns in his dominance is his loyal ally, Paul Heyman, who boasts a notable career working with figures in the wrestling industry since the 1980s. ## During an appearance on ESPN's First Take, Heyman and Reigns discussed their journey and upcoming match at SummerSlam. Heyman, true to his characteristic style, effusively praised Reigns, asserting that he has revolutionized the wrestling industry. According to Heyman, Reigns stands in a league of his own, distinct from any other competitor. He acknowledges the rich history of the WWE Championship, featuring legendary names like Bruno Sammartino, Superstar Billy Graham, Bob Backlund, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, and Brock Lesnar. ## However, Heyman highlights that the Universal Heavyweight Championship, being a newly created title, lacked the same lineage and prestige. Though held for 500 days by Brock Lesnar, it did not attain the status of the WWE Championship. But Reigns, upon becoming the Universal Heavyweight Champion, transformed the perception of the title. Heyman compares it to a Super Bowl ring, akin to what Tom Brady seeks in football. Reigns, as The Tribal Chief, desired both the history of the WWE Title and the future of the Universal Title. Consequently, he merged the two championships, further firming his reign and making the Universal Championship the premier attraction in WWE. ## “Roman Reigns? He’s completely redefined the industry. He’s in a different genre than anybody else is. By the way, we do acknowledge the past. Shall I do it for you, sir? See this photo right here? Bruno Sammartino, Superstar Billy Graham, Bob Backlund, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, Brock Lesnar. Go down the list, Roman Reigns. ## See this one right here? Universal Heavyweight Championship, it was the created championship, did not have the lineage of Sammartino, Morales, Superstar Billy Graham, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, names go down the list. ## A created championship, 500 days held by Brock Lesnar, started to get a little prestige, never in the class of the WWE Championship. Roman Reigns becomes the Universal Heavyweight Champion, and everybody forgets about the WWE Title. And this becomes the title and WWE. This becomes the premier attraction. This becomes the Super Bowl ring. This becomes what Tom Brady is after. This is what the title becomes in WWE." Transcription Via itrwrestling ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...

When Garcia got into the match, he demanded Takeshita to tag in. Takeshita swiftly entered the fray and delivered a powerful leaping clothesline, mocking Garcia's earlier gestures. With Garcia down, Jericho tagged in and slapped him to wake him up. However, Jericho was unaware of Callis tripping Garcia's leg, leading to Garcia running into a big boot and Jericho heading into the commercial break. ## During the commercial break, Garcia was isolated and trapped in the opponents' corner. He managed to get his knees up to counter a Lionsault, creating an opening for Guevara to make a thrilling hot tag. Guevara entered the ring with a huge cross body, sending both Takeshita and Jericho out of the ring. Guevara then followed up with back-to-back dives and a massive Frog Splash for a near fall. There was a skirmish between Jericho and Guevara, but Garcia intervened with a tackle on Jericho while Takeshita hit Guevara with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Guevara successfully avoided Takeshita's finishing move, the Walls of Takeshita, and then executed an impressive Spanish Fly on Jericho. ## Guevara made the tag to Garcia, who unfortunately fell victim to a Code Breaker from Jericho but managed to kick out at two. Garcia rebounded from the attack, delivering a flying knee from the corner. Meanwhile, Takeshita was sent outside the ring by Guevara, who then performed a spectacular Shooting Star Press to the floor, inadvertently catching Takeshita's face with his elbow. Back in the ring, Garcia attempted the Dragon Slayer, but referee Aubrey appeared to be distracted, looking toward the floor for some reason. This allowed Don Callis to hit Garcia with a baseball bat. Jericho seemed initially displeased with the interference but ultimately took advantage of the situation to secure the pinfall and the victory. ## WINNER: Chris Jericho & Konosuke Takeshita (w/Don Callis) ## Jack Perry & Jerry Lynn Face to Face ## As Tony Schiavone introduced Perry to the ring, the arena resounded with boos as he forcefully snatched the microphone and demanded Jerry Lynn to come out and face him. Lynn appeared on the stage and expressed his desire to teach Perry a lesson but stated that it would be akin to committing child abuse. He clarified that he wasn't in charge of the show and that no doctor would clear him to compete in the ring. However, Lynn had a plan and called upon a close friend from the ECW days who still actively wrestles, eliciting massive chants for RVD from the enthusiastic crowd. The familiar tunes of Pantera's 'Walk' reverberated, and Rob Van Dam made his captivating entrance to his classic ECW theme music. RVD and Perry confronted each other in the ring, but Perry quickly retreated as RVD and Jerry Lynn took a defiant stance. ## Perry attempted a sneaky attack with a chair, causing RVD to narrowly miss hitting him with a Van Daminator. However, Perry evaded the strike and hastily made his escape through the crowd, even going so far as to use a child as a shield to shield himself from any potential retribution. ## Following the intense encounter, a video package highlighted the highly anticipated AEW Women's Title match featuring Toni Storm and Hikaru Shida. ## Trent Beretta VS Jon Moxley & Penta El Zero Miedo (w/Alex Abrahantes) in an Anything Goes Match Beretta wasted no time and took down Moxley with a swift dive, followed closely by Penta delivering one of his own, setting the tone for the brutal encounter. Various weapons were scattered around ringside, and Penta capitalized by landing trash can shots on both Moxley and Beretta. Penta got caught up in his celebration, allowing Moxley to counter with a Cutter. Moxley then retrieved a barbed wire 2x4 from under the ring, but before he could employ it, Penta struck back with a backstabber. Beretta intervened, preventing Penta from taking full advantage. Moxley managed to floor Beretta and utilized the barbed wire 2x4 for a piledriver, though he also felt the pain from the weapon. ## Bleeding from the earlier onslaught, Beretta fought back and executed a back suplex onto the barbed wire as Penta and Abrahantes prepared tables outside the ring. Beretta found himself on the tables, but Moxley halted Penta's progress with a barbed wire attack from the ropes. Together, Beretta and Moxley engaged in a massive superplex through the tables as the show went into a commercial break. ## During the break, Penta set up more tables, leading to a wild three-way slugfest upon the return. Beretta attempted a superplex on Penta through the table, but Penta countered with an impressive Avalanche Destroyer, crashing through the table. Moxley then tackled Penta through another table he had set up. As the intense battle continued, Moxley brought a bag from under the ring, revealing thumbtacks, and proceeded to rip off Penta's shirt. Moxley and Penta exchanged finisher attempts until Moxley executed a piledriver onto the tacks, earning a close two-count. Following that, Moxley executed a flipping suplex onto the tacks, putting himself through pain to deliver a Cutter on Beretta onto the same tacks. Beretta, however, countered a piledriver attempt and landed a Crunchie on Moxley onto the tacks. Penta broke the pin by throwing a trash can at Beretta. Another three-way slugfest ensued, with Beretta eventually falling victim to a King Kong Lariat on the tacks, leaving Moxley and Penta to continue the brawl. Moxley hit a Paradigm Shift on Penta, but Beretta flew in with a flying knee and capitalized on the opportunity to pin Penta for the victory. ## WINNER: Trent Beretta ## Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) VS Jeff Jarrett, Jay Lethal & Satnam Singh (w/Sonjay Dutt & Karen Jarrett) Jeff Jarrett and Kenny Omega initiated the action, with Jarrett performing an early bodyslam followed by a Fargo Strut. Jay Lethal entered the ring but was swiftly taken down, leading to quick tags from The Bucks. The dynamic duo executed a pop-up hurricanrana and a double dropkick, and then Singh tagged in. A determined Matt Jackson soon realized his mistake and wisely tagged in his brother, Nick. The Bucks unleashed a series of well-coordinated dropkicks, causing Singh to execute a crossbody that took down both Jackson brothers. Taking advantage of the situation, Singh, Lethal, and Jarrett all taunted The Elite's signature pose as they headed into a commercial break, effectively isolating Nick. ## After the break, Nick managed to make the hot tag to Omega, who took down Lethal with a You Can't Escape move. However, Lethal countered Omega's moonsault with a well-timed knee, with Singh creating a distraction. The Bucks attempted a Lethal Injection on their opponents but were skillfully evaded, leading to a barrage of superkicks that knocked down Lethal, Jarrett, and Singh. Omega then delivered a powerful V-Trigger to take out the massive Singh. As Omega signaled for the One Winged Angel, the match's dynamics took a sudden twist when Karen Jarrett interfered, pulling the referee away from the action. This allowed Sonjay Dutt to seize the opportunity and attack Omega. ## Lethal connected with a Lethal Combination on Omega as Brandon Cutler sprayed cold spray into Karen's face. The Hardy brothers, Matt and Jeff, rushed to ringside and took care of Dutt, while Jarrett was poised to use a guitar against Omega. However, Hangman Page appeared out of nowhere and delivered a devastating Buckshot Lariat to Jarrett. As Lethal attempted to use a guitar of his own, he was met with a brutal V-Trigger and a One Winged Angel by Omega, securing the victory. The Elite stood tall as Nick unleashed his frustration on the guitar with their triumphant music playing in the background. ## WINNER: Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) ## Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) Vs El Hijo del Vikingo & Komander (w/Alex Abrahantes) for the ROH Tag Team Titles ## In a lightning-quick start, Vikingo sent Fletcher crashing to the floor while Komander gracefully walked off Vikingo's shoulders, executing a hurricanrana on Davis, who regrouped outside with Fletcher. Back inside the ring, Komander was caught with a fireman's carry punt kick, but he couldn't be isolated for long. Komander smartly lowered the top rope, sending Fletcher once again to the floor. Then, Komander impressively wall walked and propelled Davis to the outside with the help of a springing Vikingo. Fletcher found himself entangled in the ropes, and Vikingo took advantage, delivering a devastating guillotine legdrop. Both wrestlers attempted double dives, but Davis and Fletcher were ready, catching them both and causing a spectacular collision around ringside. ## During the break, Komander was isolated, but the tide turned when Vikingo made a hot tag. However, his momentum was swiftly halted when he was caught mid-air by a double superkick from Davis and Fletcher. Davis and Fletcher then teamed up for a running up-and-over slam, earning a near fall of two counts. Vikingo was left sandwiched between Davis and Fletcher, receiving a powerful double forearm shot. ## While Vikingo was in a fireman's carry position, Komander soared in off the back and hit a leaping Destroyer on Fletcher, while Vikingo executed a Crucifix Bomb on Davis. Aussie Open was sent tumbling to the floor, prompting Vikingo and Komander to both perform mesmerizing rope walks into moonsaults outside the ring. ## With Davis down inside the ring, Vikingo and Komander went all out, connecting with a breathtaking double 450 splash. However, Fletcher managed to break up the pin attempt. In an action-packed finish, Fletcher and Vikingo spilled outside the ring as Komander attempted a rope walk Shooting Star but unfortunately missed. Davis and Fletcher delivered a perfectly synchronized Coriolis to retain their hard-earned titles. ## WINNER: Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) ## Hikaru Shida Vs Toni Storm (w/Saraya & Ruby Soho) For the AEW Women’s Title ## Both competitors exchanged fierce forearm strikes at the beginning before Storm sought refuge with her allies, The Outcasts. Once they returned to the ring, Shida positioned Storm on the apron and landed a running knee strike, following it up by sending Storm into the guardrail. Shida attempted punches, but Storm evaded and retaliated by slamming Shida's head onto the railing. Back in the ring, Storm was suplexed into the corner and then executed a proper suplex while Shida was still recovering from her encounter with the railing. Storm took control and delivered a running hip attack, forcing Shida to the outside, where she briefly endured a beating from Ruby Soho & Saraya, who was particularly vocal that night. ## During the final picture-in-picture segment of the night, Storm maintained dominance inside the ring. However, Shida managed to avoid Sweet Cheek Music in the corner and responded with a release German suplex. An enzuigiri sent Storm into the corner, setting Shida up to deliver several running knee strikes and her trademark ten corner punches. Shida then executed a missile dropkick for a two-count, followed by a Meteora for a very close near fall. Although Shida attempted a superplex, interference from Saraya allowed Storm to counter with a Tornado DDT. Storm followed up with a powerful Sweet Cheek Music and DDT, but Shida displayed her resilience and refused to give up. ## Both competitors engaged in a fierce exchange of chops and forearm strikes until Shida landed a pumping knee strike and a Falcon Arrow for another near fall. Saraya introduced a kendo stick into the ring, attempting to distract the referee, but Shida decided not to use it. Instead, she struck Soho on the apron with the kendo stick. When the referee turned to deal with the kendo stick, Storm used spray paint to blind Shida temporarily. Despite hitting Storm Zero, Shida managed to kick out to the delight of the crowd. Storm attempted another Storm Zero, but Shida countered with a backdrop and a quick, high stack pin to secure the flash victory and claim the title. ## WINNER: Hikaru Shida ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling Updates...

Matt Riddle Reflects On WWE Struggles: 'It's Easier To Win Real Fights In UFC Than Win A Match In WWE'

Allentown, 2 August 2023 - Matt Riddle has recently shared his thoughts on the challenges he has faced in WWE. After being part of the popular tag team RK-Bro alongside Randy Orton, Riddle ventured into solo competition when Orton took time off due to injury. He experienced some success and engaged in a feud with Seth Rollins, but later took a break in December 2022, amid speculation of a potential failed drug test. ## Riddle made a return to television after WrestleMania when he attacked The Miz. However, since then, achieving success has been quite difficult for the Original Bro. His recent loss to Ludwig Kaiser on the July 31st episode of Raw, in a little over 11 minutes, has raised questions about how WWE views Riddle's future and whether he can rise above the mid-card position. ## To put things into perspective, Riddle has only secured three televised singles victories since his return on April 3rd. This fact hasn't escaped his own notice, as he remarked that winning in WWE is more challenging than in "real fights in UFC." ## “Damn it’s easier to win real fights in the @ufc than win a match in WWE” ## Why WWE Has Stopped Pushing Matt Riddle Before SummerSlam It appears that the star's limited opportunities in WWE are primarily due to creative not currently having any specific plans for him, rather than any personal issues in his life. ## According to a report from Ringside News, Riddle's absence from television wasn't related to his girlfriend's pregnancy, as initially speculated. Instead, it seems WWE simply lacks definite booking ideas for the 37-year-old talent. ## The lack of a significant push for Riddle can be attributed more to the creative direction and storyline decisions within WWE rather than any personal issues or external factors affecting his career. As of now, it seems that the company has yet to solidify concrete plans for how they want to utilize the Original Bro moving forward. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For Wrestling News...

Jason Jordan Worked As A Producer On 7/31/23 WWE Raw

Chicago, 2 August 2023 - Chad Gable and Jason Jordan, who formed the formidable tag team American Alpha, had a relatively brief partnership that spanned just two years. Despite the short duration, they achieved remarkable success by capturing both the "NXT" and "SmackDown" Tag Team Championships. However, WWE management made the decision to separate them in 2017, leading them down different paths. ## Tragically, Jordan's wrestling career came to an abrupt halt in less than a year due to a severe neck injury. Subsequently, he made a significant career shift and transitioned to a role as a WWE producer, utilizing his expertise and knowledge to contribute behind the scenes. ## Per the latest report from Fightful Select, Jason Jordan produced this past Monday's Chad Gable vs. Gunther match and Judgment Day promo. ## In 2011, Jordan inked a contract with WWE, leading to his assignment in the developmental territory Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). Following his debut in NXT the next year, he joined forces with Chad Gable, and together they created the impressive tag team known as American Alpha. Their partnership resulted in them clinching the NXT Tag Team Championship in 2015. Later, the duo was drafted to the SmackDown brand, where they triumphed again, winning the SmackDown Tag Team Championship. ## In 2017, American Alpha parted ways when Jordan transitioned to the Raw brand, portraying the role of Kurt Angle's son. Subsequently, he formed a short-lived tag team with Seth Rollins and managed to secure the Raw Tag Team Championship in December 2017. Notably, he became one of the select few to achieve the distinction of winning the Raw, SmackDown, and NXT Tag Team Championships. Furthermore, he once held the FCW Tag Team Championship alongside CJ Parker. ## Stay Tuned To Sacnilk For More Wrestling News...

No one will be able to pull her off Lyra. ## Singles Match: Jacy Jayne Vs Lyra Valkyria ## As Lyra confidently makes her way to the ring, Jacy viciously attacks her, slamming her into the unforgiving apron. ## Once inside the ring, the referee starts the match, and Jacy wastes no time, delivering sharp kicks in the corner. However, Lyra manages to escape and retaliates with a powerful punch, followed by a daring crossbody maneuver. Jacy counters with a snap mare and a stinging kick to the back. She then runs Lyra into the turnbuckles and unleashes a series of shoulder thrusts. Undeterred, Lyra quickly floats over and executes a running dropkick, sending Jacy crashing into the turnbuckles. Jacy retreats to the floor, but Lyra is not done yet; she dives over the top rope with a pescado, landing hard on Jacy. Taking advantage of the outside, Lyra runs Jacy into the apron multiple times before landing a strong kick and a European uppercut. ## Back in the ring, Jacy regains control with an Irish whip, following up with another one that sends Lyra sprawling to the mat. Jacy capitalizes with a cannonball, securing a near fall. She continues her assault with a well-placed kick, and Lyra responds with a series of punches. Jacy answers back with a snap mare and a painful elbow to Lyra's clavicle. Applying a top wrist lock and chin bar, Jacy tries to wear down her opponent, but Lyra escapes with a snap mare of her own. Seizing the opportunity, Lyra delivers a boot to the corner, followed by a well-aimed elbow. She attempts a roll-up, narrowly missing a victory. Jacy counters with her own roll-up for a near fall and follows it up with a back elbow and a back senton, coming close to securing the win. With some disrespect, Jacy pie faces Lyra repeatedly, but Lyra manages to block a kick and responds with a back heel kick and head butts to Jacy's midsection. Lyra then executes a couple of round kicks. Jacy fights back with knees to the midsection before Lyra sends her tumbling to the outside. ## Taking the fight to the outside, Lyra connects with a dropkick through the ropes. Not content with this, she quickly ascends to the top rope and lands a high-flying crossbody, followed by a smooth Northern Lights suplex, almost securing the victory. Lyra's relentless barrage continues with a series of chest kicks, each one hitting with force. She attempts an enzuigiri, but Jacy dodges it and retaliates with a swift thrust kick and a spinebuster, coming close to winning once again. Jacy attempts another thrust kick, but her discus clothesline misses the mark. Capitalizing on this opening, Lyra delivers a back heel kick and swiftly climbs to the top rope, where she leaps with precision, executing a picture-perfect frog splash for the three-count and securing a hard-fought victory. ## WINNER: Lyra Valkyria ## Singles Match: Eddy Thorpe Vs Dijak ## Dijak missed a boot, and Thorpe responded with chops. Following that, Thorpe landed a kick and a series of punches. Dijak retaliated with a kick, and Thorpe countered with a crossbody. Subsequently, Thorpe executed a snap mare and delivered a kick to Dijak's back. ## Both Thorpe and Dijak exchanged chops before Dijak nailed Thorpe with a clothesline, nearly securing a pinfall. Thorpe then drove his shoulders into the corner, but his attempt backfired when Dijak moved, causing Thorpe to crash into the ring post. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Dijak set up for a sit-out choke slam, coming close to a victory. ## However, Thorpe managed to block Dijak's cyclone kick and responded with a back heel kick and a boot in the corner. Dijak, in turn, executed a belly-to-back suplex, almost securing another near fall. Thorpe then attempted a waist lock, but Dijak thwarted a German suplex by transitioning into an arm wringer, targeting Thorpe's shoulder. As a result, Thorpe was sent shoulder-first into the ring post.## When Dijak attempted his signature move, Feast Your Eyes, Thorpe managed to escape and countered with a German suplex. Thorpe then followed up with a clothesline, causing Dijak to roll out of the ring. Not giving him a moment's rest, Thorpe reached outside the ring to grab Dijak, but Dijak reversed the situation and sent Thorpe into the ring post. Dijak capitalized by targeting Thorpe's injured shoulder with a kick, and then he delivered a cyclone kick, securing the three count and claiming the victory. ## WINNER: Dijak ## Lola Vice and Elektra Lopez Vs Valentina Feroz and Yulisa Leon ## Lopez and Leon kick things off, with Lopez executing a takedown and applying a sleeper hold. However, Leon counters with a snap mare. Leon follows up with a waist lock takedown, transitioning into a front face lock. Lopez manages to land a forearm, but Leon responds with a springboard arm drag, and then another arm drag. ## Feroz is tagged in, and Leon slingshots him into a slam, nearly securing a pinfall. Lopez takes advantage of Vice's distraction to hit Feroz from behind and then sends him face-first into the mat. Lola is tagged in, and they deliver a double back elbow and a double heat strike. Lola follows up with an Irish whip and a spinning back heel kick, earning a near fall with the move. He then applies a front face lock, and Lopez tags in, hitting a back elbow and a kick, coming close to a pinfall. ## When Feroz tries to make the tag, Lola intervenes, preventing him from reaching his partner. Leon tags back in and delivers a clothesline and a forearm. He follows it up with gutwrench suplexes and a Michinoku Driver, nearly securing a pinfall. Lopez kicks Feroz, who responds with punches. Lopez then sends Feroz out of the ring, but Leon clotheslines him. Lola delivers a super kick, leading to a three count and the victory. ## WINNERS: Elektra Lopez and Lola Vice ## Noam Dar & Oro Mensah (with Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend) Vs NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes & Wes Lee (with Trick Williams) ## Wes Lee has been showing a more edgy and subtle heelish demeanor lately. Before the match officially starts, Lee surprises everyone with a dive through the ropes onto Dar & Mensah, leading to a ringside brawl between the two teams. Once they finally get into the ring and the match bell rings, Dar takes bumps while still wearing his jacket, caught off guard by the ambush. ## As the show returns from a commercial break, Lee finds himself being worked over by the opposing team. The match builds up to a hot tag, and when Hayes gets tagged in, he becomes a house of fire, with Dar bumping and feeding for him. At one point, Legend interferes at ringside, but Hayes manages to evade his clothesline attempt. Later, Jackson also gets involved and distracts Lee. ## With Lee perched on the top rope, Jackson stands over Dar, daring Lee to go through her. Despite subtly displaying heelish tendencies, Lee goes for a twisting senton anyway, but Jackson moves out of harm's way. Lee then splashes Dar for a near fall before the pin is broken up. ## The action intensifies with a flurry of moves, bringing Hayes back into the ring. Hayes drops Mensah with a powerful kick, and Lee signals and measures for a Cardiac Kick on Dar. However, in an inadvertent turn of events, Lee ends up hitting Hayes with the Cardiac Kick. Taking advantage of the situation, Mensah superkicks Lee (botching a springboard attempt). Dar capitalizes on the chaos and delivers a shining wizard to Lee, covering him for the pinfall.## WINNER: Noam Dar & Oro Mensah (with Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend) ## Baron Corbin Vs Andre Chase (with Thea Hail and Duke Hudson) ## The story unfolded with Thea Hail visibly depressed at ringside. She was upset about Chase's decision to throw in the towel on Sunday, and now, in a surprising turn of events, Hail throws in the towel for Chase when Corbin has him trapped in a single-leg crab submission. However, Corbin catches the towel, and unfortunately, the referee doesn't see Hail throwing it in. As a result, Corbin throws the towel back outside the ring. ## Feeling the weight of her actions, Hail picks up the towel and decides to leave ringside, making her way backstage. Hudson is taken aback by Hail's sudden departure and is left wondering about her actions. Meanwhile, Chase is left defenseless and vulnerable to Corbin's attack. Corbin seizes the opportunity, delivers his devastating finishing move, The End of Days, and covers Chase for the three-count victory. ## WINNER: Baron Corbin ## NXT Tag Team Champions The Family (Tony D'Angelo & Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo) & Santos Escobar vs. Gallus (Mark Coffey, Wolfgang & Joe Coffey) ## Escobar was unveiled as the mystery partner, carrying a history as a rival of Tony D. Tonight, he made his return to NXT as Tony D's tag partner. ## The babyface trio cleared the ring and dominated before a commercial break, but the rudos gained the advantage when the show returned. Stacks found himself on the receiving end of a beating after the break. ## A hot tag, and Escobar got the chance to shine as he ran wild. The two teams faced off, engaging in a thrilling three-on-three melee in the closing moments. Escobar executed a super-duper avalanche Frankensteiner off the top rope on Mark Coffey. In came Stacks and Tony D, who flawlessly executed their double team Bada Bing finisher. Tony D then hooked a leg and covered Coffey for the deciding pinfall. ## WINNER: NXT Tag Team Champions The Family (Tony D'Angelo & Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo) & Santos Escobar ## The Show Ends Here! ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.
