Roman Reigns Acknowledges Cody Rhodes' Resilience And Admits Uncertainty In His Own Abilities

Roman Reigns has expressed his admiration for Cody Rhodes. ## In 2016, Rhodes departed from WWE and began his journey in the independent wrestling scene, which ultimately resulted in the establishment of All Elite Wrestling. Despite holding the position of co-executive vice president at AEW, Rhodes left the promotion in 2022 to make a comeback to WWE. ## In the lead-up to WrestleMania 39, Reigns conveyed to Cody that he had escaped the arduous work by leaving WWE, whereas Reigns himself had persevered and played a vital role in the promotion's growth. During an interview with Daniel Cormier of ESPN, Reigns revealed that he was uncertain if he would have been able to achieve what Cody did. ## "It's going to sound a little weird because, in our heated exchanges, I said some things, and I stand by them. From my perspective, he ran. Plain and simple. On the other side, he did something very resilient. He did something that, and that's one of the things that maybe bothers me or concerns me the most about him...I don't know if I would be willing or if I could do what he did. As a man, I don't like that. ## I want to feel like I can do anything, but he did something that, I don't know if I would have been willing to do what he did. I respect that. Me and Seth (Rollins), this is one of the only things we agree on, we don't want to be busting our ass this whole time, building this thing up for what it is, and just have some white knight coming sweeping in and take it from us. I've worked too hard, year after year, show after show, to put this place where it is. Then, here he comes. That's just not how it works for me," said Roman. ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Triple H Praises Bad Bunny's Commitment And Leaves The Door Open For Future WWE Matches

On the first night of WWE WrestleMania 39, Bad Bunny made an appearance by interfering in the match between Dominik and Rey Mysterio. The musician prevented Dominik from striking Mysterio with a chain. Bad Bunny has previous experience wrestling in WWE and is scheduled to be at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico next month. However, it remains unclear whether he will participate in any matches. ## Triple H addressed the situation at WWE's WrestleMania press conference on Saturday night, expressing that the rapper is always welcome to step back into the squared circle. This statement indicates that WWE is open to Bad Bunny competing in future wrestling matches. ## "I will say this about Bad Bunny. Puerto Rico is coming. If he wants to be in that ring, he has my number. We talk... If he wants to be in that ring, he'll hit me up and I'm sure we'll make it happen. But he'll be there one way or the other; he's hosting it. It's going to be a blast." ## In addition, Triple H commended Bad Bunny for his dedication to training and his respect for the wrestling industry. The WWE executive acknowledged that the "Mia" singer grew up as a fan of WWE and often reminisces about the past during their conversations. ## Furthermore, Triple H expressed his admiration for celebrities like Bad Bunny, Logan Paul, and Pat McAfee, who have displayed remarkable talent in wrestling despite their limited experience in the sport. The WWE executive even went as far as to say that these celebrities have "no right" to possess such a high level of skill at such an early stage in their wrestling careers. Triple H's comments suggest that he recognizes the hard work and commitment required to succeed in professional wrestling and that he appreciates those who take it seriously. ## "What's awesome about it is the grind, and what the level of what they're willing to put into this because of their respect for the business, their respect for the WWE superstars, their respect for what we do, and the people who came before them." ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

Roman Reigns Comments On How Long He Could Continue At His Current Pace

It is highly likely that Roman Reigns will be able to sustain his current pace for several more years. He is all set to headline his third consecutive WrestleMania as the WWE Universal Champion and his first as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, having triumphed over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 to unify the titles. ## To cope with the demands of being the face of the company, Reigns has reduced his workload considerably. He now seldom competes in live events or television matches and on some occasions, he may not appear on television at all for an entire week. ## During a recent interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Reigns was asked how long he thought he could maintain his present rhythm. ## At this pace, I take good care of myself. As long as it makes sense, I feel good. I'll be 38 in a couple of months. I still feel like I can probably push to definitely 45 if I wanted to, I don't need to, but really it's about what is available, the art. Whether it's the accolades chasing; 1000 days, great. Let's do 1500, okay, cool. 2000, or it's 'No, no, no,' there is something that is pulling me, 'I have to do this, I have to create this, I have to put this on camera. I have to build this dynamic or rivalry.' If something like that comes along, then that will motivate me as well," ## Roman, when asked if he is planning an absence in the near future, responded, "No, I love my set up. They can all say what they want. Every single one of them would take my deal if they could get it. They just can't get it. They'll get a big fat 'no' and there this nothing they can do about it. They can say what they want. Seth (Rollins), any of them, Seth would take my deal. He'd take my dates. He'd love to get my money. It's not for him. It's the Tribal Chief set up. That's just the way it is." ## Asked if there was any jealousy from his peers, Roman said, "I don't make myself available to it. It's one of those things where, if it was happening, I would hear about it, and if it was happening, I would invite it to my face, and it would never come." ## To stay updated with all the latest combat sports news, add Sacnilk.com to your Google News feeds and follow us on Twitter.

The attention soon shifted to the Prime energy drink mascot, which was designed to divert the audience's attention from Paul. Meanwhile, Jasper Randall, the musical composer, led the crowd in singing Rollins' theme, but the sound was fake. The real crowd began singing when Rollins made his entrance to his theme song.## Paul was dressed in blue and yellow, while Rollins donned an all-pink outfit. The Prime mascot remained at ringside throughout the match. Rollins started strong, but Paul eventually threw him out of the ring and followed up with a Buckshot lariat, which was referred to as a Maverick lariat. This gave Dom the opportunity to punch Rey and take control of the match. Dom worked Rey over and executed an impressive Michinoku Driver for a near fall. He then got in his mother's face, but she slapped him, allowing Rey to capitalize and slam him into the ring post. Rey even kissed Angie to the crowd's amusement. ## Rey hit a springboard crossbody, but only got a two count. Despite Charlotte's efforts to fight back with backbreakers, clotheslines, and chops, Ripley managed to hit a German suplex for a nearfall. ## Charlotte attempted a flying crossbody, but Ripley rolled through and attempted a Rip-tide, only for Charlotte to counter with an impressive DDT that earned her a two-count.
