Hyderabad, April 30 - Pan India superstar Prabhas and director Prasanth Neel collaborated for the first time for the 2-part action drama Salaar. The first part of the film Salaar: Ceasefire, which also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran, was released in December 2023 and was one of the highest-grossing Indian films of the year with worldwide gross collection of over 600 crores. ## Ever since the last of Salaar: Ceasefire, there have been a lot of enquiries about the shoot of the second part, titled Salaar: Part 2 – Shouryaanga Parvam, and now, there is a positive development on the same. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Salaar 2 is set to go on floors by the end of May with a 10-day schedule at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. It is said that the script of the sequel has been enhanced based on the feedback for the first part and the makers are satisfied with the output. Prabhas and Prithviraj will join the first schedule of Salaar 2 which will focus on their rivalry. ## Produced by Hombale Films, a major part of Salaar 2 will be shot this year, with residual portions in the first quarter of 2025. Hyderabad, April 27 - Telugu superstar Pawan Kalyan's legal drama Vakeel Saab is set to be re-released in theatres on May Day. The Venu Sriram's directorial was originally released in April 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic. ## According to the latest Telugu media reports, Vakeel Saab will be hitting theatres on May 1st, Wednesday, to make some noise at the box office in the absence of new releases due to the general elections in which Pawan Kalyan himself contesting in one of the seats in Andhra Pradesh. ## Vakeel Saab is the remake of the 2016 Hindi-language film Pink and it also stars Nivetha Thomas, Anjali, Ananya Nagalla, Prakash Raj, and Shruti Haasan in key roles. Hyderabad, April 26 - The highly-awaited Pan India movie Kalki 2898 AD starring superstar Prabhas is set to get its official release date tomorrow, April 27, as confirmed by the makers. Ahead of the official announcement, the release date was reportedly revealed online. ## According to the latest media reports, it is said that the sci-fi epic will be debuting in worldwide theatres on June 27, in multiple languages. It was supposed to be released on May 9 but was postponed due to the general elections in the country. ## Directed by Nag Ashwin, Kalki 2898 AD will be released two weeks after another big Pan India movie, Indian 2 starring Legendary Kamal Haasan.
