Rohit, Lewis Scripted MI's First Win Of VIVO IPL 2018

Defending champion Mumbai Indians finally break the shekels after three consecutive losses, to hand a thumping 46 runs defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore, despite, Virat Kohli's lone hand of 92 off 62 balls.## After winning the toss, Virat Kohli opted for MI bat first. Mumbai Indians made a horrible start as Umesh Yadav clean bowled Suryakumar Yadav and Ishan Kishan on the first two balls of the very first over of the innings. But that didn't bother Evin Lewis and Rohit Sharma, who set up MI's big total. Rohit was slightly careful at the beginning of the innings and more reliable on his batting partner.## Lewis, first took on Chris Woaks for a six and four in the second over, if that wasn't enough, he takes on Washington Sunder, who didn't complete his 4 over and conceded 32 in 2 overs. Kohli may have missed the trick by not persisting Umesh Yadav, who was swinging the ball on both sides. By the end of ninth over, Lewis already had his fifty. Royals Came Out On Top In Run Feast Contest

Rajasthan Royals won the match by 19 runs against RCB after putting a big total of 217 for 4 in 20 overs. In this tournament that has favoured chasing side so far, that was as close to a safe total as possible.##RCB had a chance to restricted RR from the big total as Royals managed only 70 runs in first 10 overs. But Sanju Samson's unbeaten 92 of 45 balls including ten sixes, really gave momentum to Rajasthan Royals innings and managed to get 147 runs in last ten overs. It was also an off day for RCB bowlers as their best bowler of this tournament so far, Umesh Yadav went for plenty. He proved to be the most expensive bowler for RCB as he concedes 59 runs in 4 overs without taking a wicket. In this run feast contest, Yuzvendra Chahal was the most economical bowler for RCB. Chahal concedes only 22 runs in 4 overs and took two big wickets of Ben Stokes and D Arcy Short.##To chase down this total, RCB needed their top order to fire, but Brendon McCullum again failed to score big as he got out in very first over of the innings to Krishnappa Gowtham. Virat Kohli and De Kock put on a 77 run partnership for the second wicket in just 44 balls. In this process, De Kock lost his concentration and got out to Shreyas Gopal at mid-on boundary line. He made 26 of 19 balls. RCB still had a chance as their two best batsmen, Virat and De Villiers were at the crease. De Villiers was lucky as Jos Buttler missed out an easy stumping but that doesn't cost them as both Virat and AB got out in quick succession. Both were caught out on the boundary line. However, Mandeep Singh and Washington Sundar tried their best to take RCB home but fell short just 19 runs to target. Mandeep scored 47 not out off just 25 balls, and Sundar made 35 off 19 balls. Shreyas Gopal was the pickup bowler for RR, conceding only 22 runs in 4 overs and took wickets of Virat Kohli and De Kock.##Sanju Samson got Man Of The Match for his sparkling knock off 92 not out.##For More Updates And News, Stay Tuned To Us.##Thanks For Reading.

Jason Roy Sparkles As Delhi Daredevils Get Off The Mark

Delhi Daredevils finally managed to win a match with yet another last-ball finish in IPL 2018 over Mumbai Indians in their home ground. With this third straight defeats, Mumbai Indians find themselves in the bottom of the points table.##It turned out to be Jason Roy's night, who played his first match in this IPL and also for his new team Delhi Daredevils. His sparkling knock of 91* of 53 balls including6 sixes and as many fours, showed that how much he can be valuable in terms of chasing a big total. Roy was included in DD side in place for Collin Munro, who couldn't do much in both games Daredevils had played.##Well, it was Mumbai Indians, who let the match slip from their hand. After winning the toss, Rohit Sharma chooses to bat first. At one stage, MI looked to get 220+ score but losing wickets in regular interval hurt them badly. The opening pair of Evin Lewis and Suryakumar Yadav put on massive 102-stand in just nine overs before Rahul Tewatia gets both the openers in successive overs.##Ishan Kishan played a 23-ball 44 innings and gave momentum to MI again but the double blow from Dan Christian to sent back Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard off consecutive deliveries robbed the MI of their momentum again. This was the time where Mumbai Indians lost complete control of their innings and after 20 overs they were restricted to 194 for 7.##In the chase, Delhi Daredevils never looked in hurdle. After putting 50 runs stand for the first wicket, Roy and Pant target Mayank Markande and IPL debutant Akila Dhanajaya. The Sri Lankan gave away 47 runs off his four overs and Mayank Markande, who had a good IPL so far, couldn't even complete his four overs and gave away 42 runs in just 3 overs.##with 11 runs needed in last over, Roy equals the score by hitting four and six on first two balls of Mustafizur Rahaman and after playing next three dot balls Roy hit the last balls in the air and completes a single and gives DD their first win.##Roy got Man Of The Match for match-winning knock.##For More Updates And News, Stay Tuned To Us.##Thanks For Reading.

After losing Rahul, KXIP couldn't get going and losing wickets in regular interval, hurt them badly. KXIP couldn't even play full 20 overs. They were bowled out for 155 in 19.2 overs. Rahul made 47 and was the top scorer.##In chase, RCB lost early wicket of McCullum as he got out on the second ball of the innings to Axer Patel. Virat Kohli and De Kock were trying to build up a partnership but after putting 32 for the second wicket, the 17-year old Mujeeb Ur Rahman cleans bowled Virat Kohli of wrong'un. Then came AB De Villiers, he and De Kock put on 54 run stands for the third wicket. De Kock lost his wicket on the score of 87. Both AB and Mandeep were ticking to singles, required rate was increasing. RCB needed 41 runs in last 4 overs and 17th over of Mujeeb was match-defining over in AB hit two sixes and collect 19 of that over. Now equation came down to 22 of 18 balls in RCB favour. AB got out in 19th over of Andrew Tye after scoring 57 of 40 balls including two fours and four sixes. With 5 runs required in last over, Washington Sunder hit two fours and RCB won the match by four wickets with three balls to spare.##Umesh Yadav received Man Of The Match for his match-winning spell.##For More Updates And News, Stay Tuned To us.##Thanks For Reading.

Billings Powers CSK Home, Despite Russell's Thunder

It was a night of raining sixes at Chepauk. Only once had a 200-plus target been chased down at Chepauk, and that was Chennai Super Kings themselves, back in 2012 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. He reached on his fifty in just 26 balls. However, Dhoni stayed with his death over a specialist to do the job for him. But it just wasn't Bravo's day as his first three balls of his final over went for three sixes. His knock of 88* of 36 balls ensured KKR got over 200-run mark.##Sam Billings named Man of the match for his brilliant knock.##Tom Curran made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders and picked Shane Watson as his first wicket.##For More Updates And News, Stay Tuned To us.## Thanks For Reading.
