Los Angeles, June 2 - Sony Pictures' animated superhero movie Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse is up for a fantastic opening weekend at the domestic (North America) box office after scoring the second biggest Thursday previews for an animated title. ## The sequel to "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" (2018) grabbed eyeballs with an excellent $17.40 million off previews that began at 3 PM domestically. This is the second-biggest preview for an animated movie ever after Disney/Pixar's "Incredibles 2" ($18.5M) in 2018. ## Riding high with rave reviews, "Across The Spider-Verse" Thursday previews gross is 4.5x more than what the first film "Into The Spider-Verse" did which was $3.5 million before putting the 3-day opening weekend of $35.3 million. ## The Hollywood Trade initially projected a $75 million - $90 million opening weekend for the sequel, however, after the fantastic Thursday previews, the projection is now $115 million - $125 million which will be more than thrice of the first film. Los Angeles, June 1 - Sony Pictures' animated superhero movie "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" finally hits theaters this weekend worldwide amid roaring critics' scores, indicating that the studio might have a massive winner in their hands. ## As "Across the Spider-Verse" has been released, the producers have set their eyes on the third installment "Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse" which releases in March next year. Now, the good news is that the 3rd movie is not the only Spider-Man project in the makers' minds. ## Producer Amy Pascal confirmed to Variety's reporter Marc Malkin at the "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse" premiere in Los Angeles that the studio is already working on "Spider-Woman" movie along with the live-action version of Miles Morales. Mumbai, May 31 - Universal Pictures' action thriller film Fast X has turned into a big success at the Indian box office. The Vin Deisel-fronted movie is performing well during the second week and has crossed the 100 crores net box office mark in all versions. ## The 10th main installment in the "Fast & Furious" franchise scored around 100.15 crores net collection in 14 days after scoring 2.05 crores on its second Wednesday. It has become the first Hollywood movie to enter the 100 crores net club in India.## The last Hollywood movie to enter the Century box office club in India was James Cameron's all-time blockbuster "Avatar: The Way of Water" which went on to score over 390 crores in all languages. It is also performing well today (2nd Sunday) and is likely to rack in another 7 crores for around 112 crores gross through the second weekend. ## In one of the rarest cases, the Hindi version of the film is performing better than the original English language as it has earned approximately 54 crores gross while the English version has collected around 52 crores through the second Sunday. Tamil and Telugu version has earned over 6 crores. ## As far as net collection is concerned, "Fast X" has earned around 93.50 crores in all languages. The movie was released on Thursday (May 18), and despite the mid-week release, it scored a very good 4-day weekend with approx. 60 crores net (71 crores gross) collection. ## The high-octane actioner remained steady during the weekdays which helped it to post around 79+ crores net in the extended 8-day first week.
