The news came as a surprise after the couple shared the pictures from their Roka ceremony which was performed with their close friends and family. ## Now, Rana Daggubati has confirmed that he and Miheeka will tie the knot on August 8 this year. On India Today's e-Mind Rocks 2020, the actor was talking about his marriage and fiancée Miheeka Bajaj and was all praise for her. ## "I think I am growing up and it's time to get married. My fiancée Miheeka lives 3 km away from my house and we're in the same vicinity. Sometimes, you know when things are going smoothly. And I don't question it when things are going correctly".## "She's lovely and we make a great pair. We draw positive energy from one another. I am getting married on August 8. On the personal front, it's been the best time of my life, getting married to Miheeka. It's been pretty awesome," he said.## On the work front, Rana Daggubati will star next in a trilingual movie Haathi Mere Saathi. It was recently when one of the leading actresses of Bollywood Deepika Padukone roped in for Prabhas starrer upcoming untitled movie called as Prabhas 21. However, it was not easy for the makers to bring Deepika on board as she put up a "very strong resistance". But makers were keen to have her on board and they made her an offer she couldn't resist.## According to a report in a leading portal stated, "Apparently Deepika these days, asks for remuneration on a par with what the leading man of a film gets. She rightly feels she has earned herself a place of gender equality in her profession". ## The report suggests that despite not getting an equal fee to Prabhas (he is paid close to Rs. 50 crores), Deepika is being paid close to Rs. 20 crores which makes her the highest-paid actress in the history of Indian cinema. ## Interestingly, the role of the female protagonist in the Prabhas starrer was not "all that substantial" to begin with. The government of Tamil Nadu has brought some happiness to the owners of cinema halls after the government has issued an amendment which stated that theaters will be opened soon. However, there is no clear indication when they will be opened but the order says that as the lockdown is opening up in phase manner, the cinemas too will open shortly. ## It has been almost two and a half months since the theaters are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and the nationwide lockdown.
