Mumbai, September 30 - Directed Mrighdeep Singh Lamba's comedy entertainer "Fukrey 3" has a very good first Saturday at the domestic box office as collection jumped by over 40% from Friday. The national multiplex chains continue to dominate the overall collection which was expected.## On its third day/first Saturday, "Fukrey 3" scored an estimated 11-11.50 crores net, taking the total collection to around 28 crores in three days. The movie should see another similar kind of jump on Sunday as Monday is again a holiday which will help night shows tomorrow. ## The 4-day extended weekend is looking to be around 41-44 crores net which is a very good collection. The franchise value is helping "Fukrey 3" to post such numbers otherwise it doesn't have much star face value, plus, the audience's word of mouth is also mixed. ## "Fukrey 3" will get the benefit of the Gandhi Jayanti holiday as the collection should be around the double-digit mark, so Tuesday will be the first litmus test for it. There is Akshay Kumar's "Mission Raniganj" releasing next Friday which will give competition to holdovers, still "Fukrey 3" stands a chance to reach 100 crores net mark which will be a win for the makers.## Meanwhile, superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster continues to collect huge as it scored another big jump of around 75% on its 24th day/4th Saturday. The early estimates suggest around 8.75 crores net collection and can go higher in Hindi for Jawan today, which takes the total Hindi collection to around 539 crores. Mumbai, September 30 - After becoming the biggest net-grosser of all-time in Hindi at the domestic box office, superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan has now become the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2023, beating his own blockbuster Pathaan.## Directed by Siddharth Anand, "Pathaan" had grossed approximately 1055+ crores worldwide earlier this year. In its original run, the movie grossed 1050+ crores, and now, "Jawan" has crossed this mark on its 23rd day. The total 23 days collection of the film is estimated around 1055 crores gross globally.## "Jawan", which is directed by Atlee Kumar, has become the 5th highest-grossing Indian and 2nd Bollywood movie of all time globally. Aamir Khan-fronted "Dangal" is currently the biggest grosser ever and is the only film to top 2000 crores worldwide, including over 1300 crores at the China box office.## Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, "Jawan" has grossed approximately 705 crores at the domestic box office and 350 crores overseas. In India, it is the biggest Bollywood grosser ever and 4th highest-grossing overall while overseas, "Jawan" is currently the 6th highest-grossing Indian movie of all time.## As said earlier, Shah Rukh Khan is the only Indian actor to have two films in the 1000 crores club worldwide and he is only the second Indian personality after SS Rajamouli ("Baahubali 2", "RRR") to achieve this rare feat. Mumbai, September 29 - Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba's "Fukrey 3" had a good opening at the domestic box office with 8.82 crores net collection upon its Thursday release. It is the biggest opening in the franchise which has been super successful at the box office.## The movie is showing a drop of around 10-15% on its second day/first Friday for an estimated 7.50 crores net collection. The drop was expected as the Thursday opening day of the movie was a partial holiday due to Eid in some states. ## The collection of the movie is strong in Delhi and UP where the previous two films have done well and the latest movie continues the trend. The total collection has reached around 16+ crores in two days, and the 4-day extended weekend could be around a good 40 crores as Monday is again a Holiday due to Gandhi Jayanti. ## "Fukrey 3" should be aiming to cross the lifetime collection of "Fukrey Returns" which scored 80 crores net after taking the opening of 8.10 crores in 2017. Mumbai, September 29 - A day after Sunny Deol-fronted Gadar 2: The Katha Continues crossed the lifetime Hindi biz of Shah Rukh Khan's "Pathaan" to emerge the biggest grosser of all-time, SRK's latest blockbuster Jawan has surpassed both them to become the new number one movie ever in the Hindi version.## "Jawan", on its 22nd day, scored 5.81 crores net collection which pushed the total Hindi net collection of the movie to 525.50 crores, making it the biggest movie in Hindi. "Gadar 2" has scored 524.80 crores while "Pathaan" minted 524.53 crores net earlier this year.## Shah Rukh Khan, for the second time in a year, claimed the title of the highest-grosser of all time. Earlier, his "Pathaan" became the biggest movie in Hindi by surpassing SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2 The Conclusion" which scored 511 crores net in 2017. ## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" will also become the highest-grossing Indian movie of 2023 at the worldwide box office. Bengaluru, September 29 - Director Prashanth Neel and superstar Prabhas team up for the first time for the action drama "Salaar" which has been confirmed to be released in two parts. Produced by Hombale Films, the first part of the movie is titled "Salaar Part 1 - Ceasefire" and it has been announced to release on December 22, 2023, clashing with superstar Shah Rukh Khan and director Rajkumar Hirani's highly-awaited "Dunki". ## The second part of "Salaar" will most likely be released by the end of 2024, and most of the shoot for the same has reportedly been completed with the first part. Now, according to reports, after "Salaar 2", Prashanth Neel and Hombale Films will move to the third instalment of the mega-blockbuster "KGF" franchise, starring superstar Yash.## "KGF 3" was confirmed in the climax of "KGF: Chapter 2" and the makers separately also confirmed the development for the same. It is said that the shooting of "KGF 3" will commence in October 2024 and it will be a prequel to "KGF 2" and will mainly focus on the timeline between 1978 and 1981 as revealed in the climax of the second instalment.## The second instalment was released in 2022 and grossed over 1200 crores at the worldwide box office. Mumbai, September 28 - Director Mrigdeep Singh Lamba's "Fukrey 3" has taken the franchise's best opening at the domestic box office. The comic caper manages to surpass the opening of "Fukrey Returns" which scored 8.10 crores net. ## "Fukrey 3" released some expectations, mainly due to the strong franchise recall value. It started on a decent note in the morning shows and witnessed some growth as the day progressed as it scored an estimated around 8.50 crores net and might go towards 9 crores. ## The three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) have contributed over 50% to the opening day collection of "Fukrey 3". The mass centres are not that strong though they should come in the picture over the weekend as the movie is carrying decent word of mouth. ## The second release of the day, Vivek Agnihotri's "The Vaccine War" has a low start as it scored around 1.50 crores net on opening day. The buzz for the movie died down in the last few days after generating awareness a few weeks back. ## Agnihotri's last film "The Kashmir Files" was a massive blockbuster but here, the opening of "The Vaccine War" is not even half of TKF which minted 3.55 crores net. The opening of TKF was itself not big but it went on to score over 250 crore net after managing to connect with sentiments of the audiences. Here, the WOM for TVW is decent but it is unlikely to repeat the success of TKF.## Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster "Jawan" scored a very good jump today and collected around 5.50 crores net in all versions. Mumbai, September 28 - Sunny Deol-fronted period action drama film Gadar 2: The Katha Continues has crossed the lifetime net collection of Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan and becomes the highest net-grossing film ever in the Hindi language, according to producer Zee Studios. ## Directed by Anil Sharma, the mega-blockbuster sequel to 2001's "Gadar: Ek Prem Kathaan" has scored 524.75 crores net collection so far in 48 days, crossing "Pathaan" which scored 524.53 crores net in Hindi earlier this year. The SRK-fronted movie had overall scored 543 crores net which includes approximately 17.50 crores net of Tamil and Telugu versions.## "Gadar 2", however, won't remain the highest-grossing Hindi movie for more than two days as Shah Rukh Khan's latest blockbuster "Jawan" is likely to top both the movies either today or tomorrow to claim the number 1 spot in Hindi. It is already the highest net-grossing Bollywood movie of all time 576 crores net in all versions so far.## Produced by Anil Sharma with Zee Studios, G2 has emerged as one of the biggest all-time blockbusters with a worldwide collection of 685 crores, including 65.50 crores overseas collection against a budget of just around 70 crores. It has shattered many box office records including becoming the highest-grossing film of the entire primary cast as well as for director Anil Sharma. It is also the second fastest movie ever to top 500 crores net in Hindi (24 days).## The movie stars Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma, who reprise their roles from the previous film. Simrat Kaur made her Bollywood debut with this movie alongside Manish Wadhwa and Gaurav Chopra as the new addition to the cast. Meanwhile, according to Pinkvilla, the movie will be hitting cinemas a day early in the international markets according to a well-planned statrgy by the makers.## It is said that the makers are proceeding with the full-fledged release on December 21 in the entire international markets to get the benefit of the extended Christmas holiday period. But the question remains which movie to topple "Pathaan" first to become the biggest Hindi grosser of all time? ## Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan", which has so far scored approximately 520+ crores net in 21 days, will eventually become the biggest Hindi grosser by a very good margin, but at the moment, it is in a close race with "Gadar 2", which has scored approximately 524.30 crores net in 48 days, to outgross "Pathaan" first.## The Sunny Deol-fronted period action drama film has slowed down since the release of "Jawan" but it is still carrying enough fuel to come out on top. However, it won't be a long laugh for the movie as the SRK-starrer will cross it eventually, but it might still enjoy the moment of being the biggest Hindi net-grosser for at least one day. ## Interestingly, the Hindi cinema could have a moment to remember as both "Gadar 2" and "Jawan" are showing a trend of topping "Pathaan" (524.50+ crores) on the same day. The movie, which is touted to be an action-thriller, has been titled Jigra. The motion poster begins with a quote by GK Chesterton flashing on the screen, which reads, "The paradox of courage is that one must be a little careless of life in order to keep it".## The motion poster shows Alia Bhatt with a bag on her shoulder as she is standing in the streets. A voice-over by Alia is played in the background with the actress ensuring to protect what seems to be her younger sibling. It has outgrossed SRK's own movie "Pathaan", which was released earlier this year, to become the number 1 Indian title in the Gulf.## "Jawan" has scored $14.15+ million so far in 19 days, crossing "Pathaan's" $14.10 million lifetime collection. It also becomes only the third outright Bollywood movie, and 4th overall to hit 500 crores net collection in Hindi. All three Bollywood movies to reach this figure were released in 2023 only, and this includes SRK's "Pathaan" and "Gadar 2". SS Rajamouli's "Baahubali 2" was the first and only non-Bollywood movie to top 500 crores net in the Hindi language.## Meanwhile, in another box office milestone, "Jawan" has topped 1000 crores gross worldwide on its 18th day, becoming the fastest Bollywood movie ever to do the same.
