Mumbai, September 19 - There is no stopping superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "Jawan" at the box office. The movie, directed by Atlee Kumar, is breaking records one after another, and now, it has unlocked a new box office mark for a Bollywood movie.## "Jawan" has become the first outright Bollywood movie ever to cross a combined 150 crores gross mark in the South Indian states (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Kerala). The overall domestic box office collection of the movie has also crossed 600 crores mark as I type this.## The action thriller film is truly having a sensational box office run in South India, led by two Telugu states (AP/TG) where the movie has crossed 50 crores gross mark with today's collection. Tamil Nadu is the best market for Jawan, followed by Karnataka, and Kerala, among the South Indian states.## The mega-stardom of Shah Rukh Khan and the goodwill of Tamil director Atlee Kumar is working wonders outside North India. Interestingly, "Jawan" is almost 40 crores ahead of the second highest-grossing Bollywood movie in South India, "Pathaan", also starring Shah Rukh Khan, which minted approximately 110+ crores gross earlier this year. These are the only two films to have grossed 100+ crores in these states.## Meanwhile, "Jawan" is nearing 900 crores at the worldwide box office and it is likely to get there by the end of today (13th day). Mumbai, September 18 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has unlocked a new box office territory as he becomes the first Bollywood and the second Indian actor to score a 1000 crore net collection at the Indian box office in a single year. ## Shah Rukh Khan has two releases in 2023 so far in the form of "Pathaan" and "Jawan", and both movies are currently the top two highest-grossing Indian films of 2023, respectively. Apart from being the biggest grossers of the year, "Pathaan" and "Jawan" have put SRK in a league of his own.## Directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films, "Pathaan" was released in January this year and went on to score 543 crores net collection, including 524+ crores in the Hindi language. It is currently the highest-grossing movie in Hindi as well as in a single language in terms of net collection.## "Jawan", which is currently playing in theatres, is directed by Tamil director Atlee Kumar and just like "Pathaan", the action thriller is running riot at the box office. It has scored approximately 478 crores net collection, including 430+ crores in the Hindi language in just 11 days so far. ## The combined net collection of "Pathaan" and "Jawan" is 1020+ crores and with the 12th-day collection of "Jawan", it is nearing 1035 crores which makes Shah Rukh Khan, the highest net collection scoring Indian actor in a single year. Superstar Prabhas was the first Indian actor to cross the milestone of 1000 crores net collection in a single year when his "Baahubali 2", directed by SS Rajamouli, scored 1030 crores net in all versions in 2017.## "Jawan", meanwhile, is on course to become the highest-grossing Bollywood movie at the domestic box office. Mumbai, September 17 - Superstar Shah Rukh Khan's mega-blockbuster Jawan continues to go great guns at the box office and scored an excellent second weekend globally. The action thriller movie remained the number 1 title at the domestic box office by a huge margin while the overseas collection is also fantastic.## The Atlee Kumar's directorial movie scored over 100 crores gross domestically in the second weekend, including an estimated 43 crores gross (36 crores net) on the second Sunday. The excellent second weekend takes the total domestic cume of the movie to around 573 crores gross (477 crores net) in 11 days in all versions.## At the overseas box office, "Jawan" is estimated to score $7.50 million (62 crores), for approximately 165 crores global second weekend. The movie is expected to reach 860+ crores ($104 million) worldwide through the second Sunday (11 days). Mumbai, September 16 - The third instalment of director Rohit Shetty's biggest cop franchise "Singham" starring Ajay Devgn has been in development and it is touted to be the biggest film in Shetty's cop universe which also includes Akshay Kumar's "Sooryavanshi" and Ranveer Singh's "Simmba".## "Singham Again" or "Singham 3" was officially announced earlier this year and now, according to Bollywood Hungama, the movie is formally getting launched today, on September 16 with the mahurat shot.## It is said that director Shetty is keen on starting work on Singham 3 and has locked September 16 to launch the movie. The movie launch event will reportedly be held in Yash Raj Films Studio in Mumbai and Shetty will attend it along with Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, and Ranveer Singh. ## The movie will be mounted on a huge scale with a massive star cast on board it. The movie scored another 36.50+ crores gross worldwide on its second Thursday, which soared its total cume to 696.50 crores, making it the second highest-grossing Indian movie of the year.## Directed by Atlee Kumar, "Jawan" topped the "Gadar 2's" 676 crores gross collection as the second biggest Indian movie of 2023. The studio is now gearing up for its next phase of theatrical tentpole as well as streaming titles.## It is known to everyone that YRF is working on a four-part thriller web series, titled "The Railway Men". It is about a tribute to the unsung heroes of the 1984 Bhopal gas tragedy, during which, a cloud of toxic gas escaped from an American pesticide plant, in 1984, in the central Indian city of Bhopal. It killed and injured thousands of people. ## YRF has now partnered with the leading streaming platform Netflix to bring the series to the screens. The studio has joined hands with the OTT giant to set up a multi-year creative partnership. "The Railway Men", starring R.
