Mumbai, April 25 - Sidharth Malhotra-fronted action thriller film Yodha, directed by Sagar Ambre and Pushkar Ojha has been postponed to September 15, 2023, from its originally announced July 7 release. ## Produced by Karan Johar under the banner of Dharma Productions in association with Amazon and Shashank Khaitan, "Yodha" is set against the backdrop of an airplane hi-jack. The shoot of the movie is already wrapped up and it is currently in the post-production work. ## Even though the movie was on track to release on July 7, the makers feel that it needs a clear window to shine at the box office rather than competing with others in a jam-packed schedule.## Yodha is touted to be a special collaboration between Karan Johar and Sidharth Malhotra, as the inside reports about the film indicate a high-on-content action thriller. A Film Based On Galwan Valley Clash Is In The Works

Mumbai, April 24 - A film based on the Galwan Valley Clash is officially in development. ## Filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia has acquired the rights of a chapter from the book, titled "India's Most Fearless 3" for the big screen adaptation. The chapter focuses on the events that took place between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan region in 2020. ## The book, written by journalists Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, narrates the brave story of the Indian Army during the deadly clash with Chinese troops on 15-16 June 2020. During the clash, the Indian Army fought bravely and caused China heavy casualties, but, unfortunately, 20 Indian soldiers also lost their lives.## The story-screenplay will be adapted for the film by Suresh Nair in association with Chintan Gandhi who will also pen the dialogues. Mumbai, April 24 - Bollywood star Ajay Devgn will be returning as Bajirao Singham in director Rohit Shetty's highly anticipated cop action drama film Singham Again. The third installment in the blockbuster franchise will feature Deepika Padukone as the female lead for the first time in Shetty's Cop Universe.## The shoot of Singham 3 will kickstart in August this year, and as announced recently, the movie will be hitting the big screen on August 15, 2024, worldwide. It was earlier announced for Diwali 2024 release, but the makers preponed the release date for Independence Day. ## Singham 3 has locked possibly the best release date of 2024 and as of now, there is no competition for it. It will have a Thursday release and it could make the most of it because of the Independence Day holiday. If the movie gets a favorable response from audiences, then it will go into the weekend with flying colors to the box office on fire. ## The movie will get an additional advantage of the national holiday on August 19, Monday in the form of Raksha Bandhan, so "Singham 3" has a 5-day extended weekend. Mumbai, April 24 - Ayushmann Khurrana's much-awaited social comedy-drama film Dream Girl 2 is again on the movie as the makers have postponed the release to 25 August 2023. ## Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, the film was scheduled to hit screens on July 7 this year, after getting postponed from the previous date of 23 June 2023. It is said that the latest reason for the delay in the release is the extensive VFX work required for the film. ## "We want Ayushmann Khurrana's character to look perfect as Pooja in Dream Girl 2, and that's why we are taking extra time to perfect the VFX work for the face. Mumbai, April 23 - Superstar Salman Khan shows his star power once again at the box office as his latest family action drama film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has crossed the 100 crores gross mark worldwide in the opening weekend itself. ## Directed by Farhad Samji, KKBKKJ took an underwhelming opening of approx. 13 crores net after the not-so-great reviews from critics and mixed responses from audiences. Just when it looked like that the movie will tank due to a poor opening, the stardom of Salman came to the rescue as the movie witnessed excellent growth on its second day, on Eid. ## KKBKKJ scored approx. 25 crores net on its second day (+92.31%) and is on track to score another 26-27 crores net on Sunday, pushing the total net collection to approx. 65 crores. The gross collection of the movie through Sunday stands at approx. 76 crores, which is the second biggest opening weekend for a Bollywood movie this year. ## Overseas, the Salman-fronted flick is estimated to gross approx. $4.10 million (34 crores) and allied to 76 crores domestic debut, KKBKKJ's worldwide opening weekend is approx. 110 crores. Mumbai, April 23 - Akshay Kumar's highly-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 is not finding it easy to get going as the film continues to be in legal trouble. In fact, the threequel is in trouble ever since its development was officially revealed by the media after years of speculations. ## Earlier this year, it was revealed that the makers have shot a promo featuring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal as they were planning to make the official announcement soon. However, there was massive criticism when it came to light that Farhad Samji might be directing the film as fans started trending 'Remove Farhad Samji From Hera Pheri' on Twitter. ## Due to the heavy backlash, the official announcement, which was expected to be made in early April, got postponed. That is not the only problem makers have been facing as some days later, T-Series issued a public notice claiming that the production house is the "sole and exclusive right holder of all copyright of all Music and Audio Visual Song Rights" of the franchise in all mediums. ## And now, another legal notice has been served to the makers, this time by Eros International. According to Film Information Magazine (via Bollywood Hungama), Eros has claimed that it holds Intellectual Property Rights as well as the rights to the title, digital rights, and music rights on a 'sole and exclusive basis'. And that's not all. Eros also claimed that it has the exclusive rights to Welcome Back (2015).## The notice further stated that Firoz Nadiadwala's Base Industries Group owes Rs. 60,07,75,236, inclusive of interest, to Eros International as on April 17, 2023. There was a time when two-hero films used to be the norm, especially in Bollywood, but the trend died down in the last 15-20 years. ## Post the covid-19 pandemic, the chatter about making two-hero films has been peaking pace as most people feel that this is the need of the hour for the betterment of the industry. Recently, Salman Khan played a vital cameo in Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan" which also stars John Abraham. ## The cameo of Salman was a major highlight and played a big role in "Pathaan's" box office success. The two heroes will now be sharing equal screen time in "Tiger Vs. Pathaan" which begins next year and before that, SRK will be seen playing a cameo in Salman's "Tiger 3" which releases on Diwali this year. ## Salman Khan seems to be a big supporter of two-hero films and he has also advised younger actors to follow this path. Salman added that some actors don't want to do two-hero films as they fear that their role might get reduced if the other actor is close to the producer or director. ## However, he assured the younger actors that such things never happen as everyone works for the betterment of the film. Salman also emphasized that multi-starrers also result in bigger box office collections. Hence, he advised them to not fear multi-starrers and that they should embrace this trend for their own benefit. ## Interestingly, we are already seeing top actors coming together, be it Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR in "War 2" or Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in "Bade Miyan Chote Miyan" and more such collaborations are bound to happen in the near future. ##
