Mumbai, April 20 - The much-awaited family action drama film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan starring Salman Khan is finally releasing tomorrow (April 21), one day before the Eid festival. It is directed by Farhad Samji and produced by Salman Khan Films in association with Zee Studios. ## The makers are going all out to release "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan" on the maximum number of screens. As per the official data, it will be released on over 4500 screens in India with 16K shows per day while overseas, it will be released on 1200+ screens across 100+ countries. ## The worldwide screen count of the movie is 5700+ which is one of the highest for an Indian movie post the covid-19 pandemic. Zee Studios is the distribution partner and it is making sure this Salman Khan-starrer gets enough screens to make a big impact at the box office. ## The trailer and songs have worked in hyping the film which is expected to take a decent to the good opening at the box office. Mumbai, April 20 - Superstar Salman Khan-fronted Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is having a decent advance booking trend though the pace is slowed down after starting on a positive note. ## Directed by Farhad Samji, KKBKKJ has so far sold around 100K tickets worth approx. 2.50 crores gross for the opening day. The three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis) have clocked around 40K tickets so far and it looks to finish around 60K-65K tickets. ## The advances are having better response than all but Shah Rukh Khan-fronted "Pathaan" for the 2023 films. At the end of the day, the total pre-sales for the first day are expected to finish over 4 crores gross with approx. 150K-175K tickets, which will make it the second biggest this year. ## At the start of the advance booking a couple of days ago, KKBKKJ was looking to score in the range of 20 crores net on the first day, however, the slow pace and the pre-Eid release have brought down the projection a little bit.## As many are expecting, the opening of the film is looking in the 15 crores net range but considering the better response in mass pockets, it should be eying to open around 17 crores which will be a good number and it could go higher if the talks are positive. Many would argue that a 15-17 crores opening is not up to the mark for a star like Salman Khan but things are not as same it was before the pre-covid era. ## Salman Khan has a strong fan-following in mass belts so expect the walk-ins to be strong than most of the Bollywood films this year. Mumbai, April 19 - Late Indian actor Irrfan Khan's last feature film, The Song of the Scorpions, a Swiss-French-Singaporean Rajasthani language drama film is all set to hit big screens on April 28, 2023. ## Directed by Anup Singh, the film is due for theatrical release for a long time. It had its world premiere at the 70th Locarno Film Festival in Locarno, Switzerland on August 9, 2017. The film revolves around the story of a camel trader who falls in love with a tribal woman named Nooran. ## According to an ancient myth, the sting of a scorpion in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan can cause death in less than 24 hours and the only cure is the song sung by a scorpion singer which counters the poison of the scorpion. Nooran is an independent woman who learns the ancient healing art of scorpion singing from her grandmother. ## "The Song of the Scorpions" is produced by Feather Light Films and KNM Production and is presented by Panorama Spotlight and 70mm Talkies. After delivering the mega-blockbuster in the form of Pathaan, King Khan is preparing for another potential blockbuster with director Atlee's film. ## Jawan is a true blue Pan India flick with the star cast on board across different industries. The maiden collaboration between SRK and Atlee is the mass entertainer everyone looking forward to watching on the big screen where it is scheduled to be released on June 2 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages.## The second most anticipated film of Summer 2023 is Ranbir Kapoor's gangster crime drama Animal with director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Arguably the most hyped movie of Ranbir ever, "Animal" might turn out the biggest blockbuster for the actor with the kind of craze it is having among the fans and general audiences. The teaser of Chatrapathi was recently launched and it got an overwhelming response from the Hindi audiences. It is slated for May 12 release ## Ajay Devgn-fronted sports biopic Maidaan is the 6th most anticipated film. Mumbai, April 18 - Superstar Salman Khan's long-awaited family action drama film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is getting ready to release on April 21. Directed by Farhad Samji, KKBKKJ carries a lot of expectations and a litmus test for Salman's stardom. ## Meanwhile, the full-fledged advance booking for the movie was opened yesterday, and the initial response is positive. The pre-sales haven't been great for most of the Bollywood movies post the covid-19 pandemic, but here, KKBKKJ is portraying a different story. ## It has been only 24 hours since the advances were opened, and the pre-booking is already nearing 1 crore gross with around 35K tickets sold for the opening day. In the three national chains (PVR, INOX, and Cinepolis), it has sold around 15K tickets so far. ## The good news for the movie is that it is showing a better advance booking trend in non-multiplex chains which has always been a strong zone for Salman. With two days left, during which the advances peak, the movie is well on track to fetch decent to good pre-sales and among the best this year. ## As far as the opening day box office is concerned, it could be around 18 crores which will be a good result considering the pre-Eid release. Mumbai, April 18 - Prabhas-fronted epic Adipurush is one of the most anticipated Indian films and ahead of its wide release in June this year, the film receives a major boost with the announcement of its World Premiere at Tribeca Festival in New York. ## Based on the epic Ramayana, "Adipurush" will be screened at the prestigious festival on June 13. Meanwhile, the official website of the Tribeca Festival has reported a runtime of 174 minutes (2 hours and 54 minutes), making it one of the longest Bollywood movies ever. ## The movie is directed by Om Raut and produced by T-Series, Retrophiles, and UV Creations. The talkie portions had already completed for this Atlee Kumar's directorial with only two songs left which have now been completed.## According to Peepingmoon.com, "Shah Rukh Khan finally completes shooting for Jawan today. Although the talkie portions were already finished on April 5, they still had two songs left. SRK shot a romantic track with Nayanthara and then filmed a mass dance song with Deepika Padukone. Today is the last day for the SRK and Deepika song, and then it will officially be concluded". ## The filming of Jawan commenced in September 2021 and since then, the team has shot in different locations in Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan, and Mumbai. The movie features SRK in a duel role along with Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, and Yogi Babu while Sanjay Dutt and Deepika Padukone play cameo roles. ## There have been rumors that the movie will be postponed, however, the report has confirmed that the makers are very much on track to release it on June 2. The editing, VFX, and all post-production works are going on in full swing to meet the release date, while at the same time, Atlee Kumar has also started working on its teaser and trailer. It will be directed by debutante Shazia Iqbal, who has been working as a Production Designer for thirteen years in the Indian Film & Advertising Industry. ## Directed by Shashank Khaitan, "Dhadak", which was a remake of the Marathi movie "Sairat", was released in 2018 and marked the debut of Ishaan Khattar and Janhvi Kapoor. The film did very well at the box office, grossing over 100 crores worldwide against a budget of approx. 30 crores. ## According to Pinkvilla, Karan Johar wants to turn "Dhadak" into a proper intense romantic franchise in which two protagonists fight society to live together as the filmmaker believes that this zone of going against all odds for love has the potential to get a franchise value.## The report further adds that after contemplating on several subjects, Karan Johar has greenlit a subject that qualifies to be a sequel to Dhadak and has roped in two very talented youngsters to headline Dhadak 2. Mumbai, April 15 - Superstar Salman Khan is busy with the promotion of his much-awaited family action drama film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan which is scheduled to release on April 21. Directed by Farhad Samji, the movie also stars Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, and Jagapathi Babu, among others in key roles. ## Meanwhile, the film has reportedly been certified with a "U/A" certificate with a crisp theatrical run time of approx. 2 hours and 25 minutes or 145 minutes. The runtime is on the expected lines of these types of films. KKBKKJ is said to be the remake of the Tamil movie "Veeram" which was 155 minutes long. ## It is the first theatrical release of Salman Khan in more than 3 years in the full-fledged role.
