Prabhas' 'Radhe Shyam' Release Date Depends On SS Rajamouli's 'RRR'!

Mumbai, January 23 - The covid-19 third wave has once again left the Indian film industry with nothing but to reshuffle the release dates of theatrical films. ## Filmmaker SS Rajamouli has booked two slots for the release of "RRR". The mega-budgeted, which was supposed to release on January 7, will now release either on March 18 or April 29, depending upon the covid-19 scenario in the country. It will, however, have to face stiff competition with Bollywood biggies, "Bachchan Pandey" (March 18) and "Runway 34" (April 29) on both occasions. ## Meanwhile, one of the Pan-India tentpole movies postponed from Sankranthi 2022 is Prabhas' romantic drama "Radhe Shyam". It was to release on January 14, and now, according to reports, it will come either Holi or Eid this year. ## According to industry sources (via Bollywood Hungama), the "Radhe Shyam" release date is depending on "RRR". If "RRR" comes on Holi, then Prabhas-starrer will have a grand release on April 29. On the reverse scenario, "Radhe Shyam" will be released on March 18 or March 25. It has more chances of coming on March 25, to avoid a direct clash with "Bachchan Pandey". ## "Radhe Shyam" is directed by Radhe Krishan Kumar and the plot of the film is set in the Europe of the 1970s. It also stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead opposite Prabhas. The movie has already been postponed multiple times due to the covid-19 pandemic and still struggling to find a clear theatrical window.## Reports say that Prabhas is in constant touch with his buddy SS Rajamouli about the release of RRR so that Radhe Shyam can grab the vacated slot.## Stay tuned...

Mumbai, January 21 - A few days after the announcement of the theatrical release of Allu Arjun's "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in Hindi, Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms has called off such plans. The reason is quite obvious as the Hindi remake of this popular Telugu movie is already under development and the Hindi release of AVPL could have hampered its chances. ## It is said that Allu Arvind, the producer of both Telugu and Hindi versions of AVPL, flew down to Mumbai to stop the dubbed theatrical release of the film. Goldmines Telefilms took to Twitter and announced the same in a statement. ## "Manish Shah, promoter of Goldmines along with the makers of Shehzada have jointly decided to withdraw the theatrical of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi version. Yesterday, he had confirmed to an entertainment portal that the original producers of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo had met him and they don't want the Hindi remake of the film, "Shehzada", to get affected.## Meanwhile, the Hindi remake of AVPL is being directed by Rohit Dhawan. Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon reprieses the roles of Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde, respecitvaly. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Ronit Roy, and Sachin Khedekar in key roles. Mumbai, January 21 - Thanks to producer Manish Shah of Goldmines Telefilms, most of the south Indian movies' Hindi dubbed versions are popular among the Hindi audiences. He introduced the idea of releasing dubbed versions on satellite channels more than a decade ago and continuing to do that. ## The recently released Allu Arjun's "Pushpa - The Rise", however, brought Goldmines Telefilms in the spotlight like never before. The company released the Hindi version of the film in theaters and it surprised one and all with its blockbuster success, by collection over Rs. 85 crores.## Manish Shah is now gearing up to release the Hindi version of Allu Arjun's 2020 blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" in theaters on January 26. Interestingly, the Hindi remake of the film is currently under production starring Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon in the lead roles. ## Since the remake of AVPL is in the works, it was recently reported that the makers of "Shehzada" had paid Rs. 8 crores to Manish Shah to not air AVPL on television as it might affect their film when it releases in theaters. Manish Shah, however, has denied getting paid for not to air the film.## "Not at all", Shah told Bollywood Hungama. "All these films have been brought to my channel. Hence, I don't need to sell it to any other channel. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is also one such film. It's a blockbuster. I'll play it on my channel. I have nothing to do with the makers of Shehzada".## Manish Shah, meanwhile, is planning to release the Hindi version of Ram Charan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu's "Rangasthalam", directed by Sukumar, in February in theaters. The theatrical release of the film, however, depends on the outcome of AVPL. Mumbai, January 18 - Akshay Kumar-fronted next big ticket film "Bachchan Pandey" has been pushed back two weeks and will now release on the occasion of Holi on March 18, 2022, in theaters worldwide. ## The action-comedy film, directed by Farhad Samji, is one of the most anticipated and important films of 2022 as far as theatrical business is concerned. It will also be one of the first Bollywood films to release theatrically after the covid-19 3rd wave.## Akshay Kumar took to Twitter and shared two new posters along with the release date. Mumbai, January 15 - After making the announcement a long time ago, the shoot of the Hindi remake of Tamil blockbuster "Kaithi" commenced recently under the title of "Bholaa" at Filmistan Studios in Goregaon (West). Superstar Ajay Devgn plays the lead and reprises the role played by actor Karthi in the original film. ## Now, it has been reported that actress Tabu will be reuniting with Ajay in "Bholaa". According to ETimes, the "Drishyam" actress has been cast to play the female lead opposite her former co-star. The report further stated that Ajay did a quiet mahurat of the film too on January 11. Only after that, he shoot for it but just for 56 minutes. ## The much-anticipated Hindi remake is being directed by Dharmendra Sharma, who is Devgn's cousin and the cinematography is by Aseem Bajaj. Mumbai, January 13 - Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif-starrer "Sooryavanshi" turned out to be a savior for the Bollywood film industry in the last year. The cop-drama not only became the biggest Bollywood hit during the covid-19 pandemic but also emerged as the highest grosser of the year with a worldwide collection of Rs. 293 crores.## Directed by Rohit Shetty, "Sooryavanshi" grossed Rs. 230.8 crores in India while its overseas collection finished at Rs. 62.2 crores. Meanwhile, it was the highest-grossing Indian film at the United Kingdom box office 2021. Released by Reliance Entertainment, it generated a total of £584,469 (Rs. 5.92 crores) over six weeks, according to Comscore (via BollyNewsUK).## Ranveer Singh-starrer sports biopic "83", which is also released by Reliance Entertainment, is the second-highest-grossing Indian film in the UK with £526,321 (Rs. 5.33 crores) and still running while Punjabi movie "Honsla Rakh", starring Diljit Dosanjh, and Shehnaaz Gill, takes 3rd spot with £468,153 (Rs. 4.74 crores). It was released by White Hill Productions.## Among the top 10 Indian grosser of 2021 in the UK, 4 Punjabi movies make into the list followed by 3 Bollywood titles, and apiece Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam. Dulqueer Salmaan's Malayama blockbuster "Kurup" (6th) grossed Rs. 2.38 crores while Rajinikanth's "Annaatthe" (8th) minted Rs. 1.88 crores and recent Telugu blockbuster "Pushpa - The Rise", starring Allu Arjun scored Rs. 1.63 crores and is currently at the number 10 in the list. ## The big-budget Hindi films such as Radhe, Antim: The Final Truth, Bunty Aur Babli 2, Bell Bottom, and Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui failed to make the list of the highest-grossing Indian films at the box office. It has now been revealed that the Hindi remake of this much-anticipated action thriller film is titled "Bholaa", and it has already commenced filming in January this year.## The Hindi remake of "Kaithi" is being directed by Dharmendra Sharma, who is Devgn's cousin while the cinematography is being handled by Aseem Bajaj.
