Ranveer Singh-Starrer '83' To Have Its World Premiere At Saudi Arabia's Red Sea Fest

Mumbai, November 29 - Ranveer Singh-fronted the upcoming cricket biopic, "83" will have its world premiere at the Saudi Arabia's Red Sea International Film Festival (6-15 December). It will be the closing film of the festival on Dec. 15, where Deepika Padukone, Kapil Dev, and director Kabir Khan will be presented. ## Based on India's first world cup win in the 1983 ODI world cup, "83" will feature Ranveer Singh as the legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who led the Indian side to glory. The movie is presented by Reliance Entertainment, Phantom Films, and Kabir Khan Films, and will screen ahead of its release across the Gulf region on December 23 and worldwide release on 24 December.## Kabir Khan said (according to deadline), "I'm beyond excited to unveil "83" at the Red Sea International Film Festival, the opening of cinemas in Saudi Arabia is a fantastic opportunity for filmmakers in India and across the world. Box Office: Salman Khan's 'Antim' Jumps On Sunday To Finish The Opening Weekend On A Decent Note

Mumbai, November 28 - Superstar Salman Khan's extended screen presence in "Antim: The Final Truth" has helped the film to end the opening weekend on a decent note at the box office. Directed by Mahesh Manjrekar, "Antim" opened over this weekend on Friday (November 26). ## With Aayush Sharma and Mahima Makawana in the lead roles, the movie netted ₹ 5.03 cr on Friday (slightly lower than expected). The strong word of mouth and positive critics reviews came to the party as the movie jumped by 19.88% (₹ 6.03) on Saturday and then by 25.21% on Sunday for ₹ 7.55 crores, for a 3-day total of ₹ 18.61 crores.## While the producers won't be too disappointed with the box office outcome of "Antim" so far, it was, however, expected to do much more than it actually did. The family audience is still hesitating to visit theaters despite the positive trend towards cinema-going. ## Meanwhile, on the other hand, John Abraham-starrer "Satyameva Jayate 2", which was released a day earlier on November 25, performed low over the opening weekend for an estimated 4-day total of ₹ 10.45 Cr. Despite seeing a slight jump on Sunday, the sequel to 2018's film fell well short of what the producers had expected from it at the box office. ## Yash Raj Films' "Bunty Aur Babli 2", is another film that didn't find its audience and was rejected at the box office. Starring Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Sharvari Wagh, and Siddhant Chaturvedi, the sequel to 2005's hit film, netted just ₹ 11.9 crores in the opening week in India, starting from November 19. The superstar, on Saturday night, issued an appeal, requesting fans not to burst crackers inside the theatre. ## "Request all my fans not to take fire crackers inside the auditorium as it could prove to be a huge fire hazard thereby endangering your lives and also others. My request to theatre owners not to allow fire crackers to be taken inside the cinema and security should stop them from doing so at entry point. Enjoy the film by all means but please please avoid this is my request to all my fans .. thank u", Salman wrote in the caption of an Instagram post. ## While Salman urged fans to be careful with their lives and not burst crackers inside a theater, he shared another video on Sunday, in which his fans can be seen showering the poster of his film "Antim: The Final Truth" with milk. Since "Golmaal: Fun Unlimited" was the first of the four films in the Golmaal franchise, the last coming in 2017 is "Golmaal Again". ## Golmaal has been a standout franchise in Bollywood in terms of box office and in the comic genre. Every film in the franchise has taken it a notch higher. In 2018, director Rohit Shetty had announced Golmaal 5 with the primary cast. However, the covid-19 pandemic and the delayed release of "Sooryavshi", left the 5th instalment in limbo. ## With things are looking a lot brighter than the year or two, the talks of Golmaal 5 have started making noise again. Keeping talks to rest, the filmmaker has himself confirmed that the fifth installment of the massively successful Golmaal series is on. "It'll happen. Mumbai, November 26 - Director Anees Bazmee's 2005 film "No Entry" holds a special place among the finest comedy films in Bollywood. The movie, which starred Salman Khan, Anil, Kapoor, Fardeen Khan, Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly in leading roles, was loved by the audience for its comic timings, writing, and performances. ## It has been 16 years since the film was released in cinemas. The news regarding its sequel has been making noise for many years now, going by the latest reports, it looks like that the good news about the sequel is around the corner. According to Bollywood Hungama, the sequel is titled "No Entry Mein Entry", and it will feature the original male trio in triple roles.## A source informed the portal that Bazmee is done with the scripting. It will reportedly feature 9 heroines because of the triple roles of the male actors. This is, however, not confirmed yet whether the original heroines [Lara Dutta, Esha Deol, and Celina Jaitly] will be part of the sequel but the makers are already trying to lock as many as 9 heroines for the comedy. ## It is indeed one of its kind ensembles, which, if true, has never happened in Bollywood before. The story will reportedly follow the same catchline - three husbands trying to go astray and the madness that comes along with it. Bhushan Kumar of T-Series along with Murad Khetani will be producing this project.
