Mumbai, August 3, 2021: The makers of Akshay Kumar starrer, Bell Bottom, stick to their commitment to an exclusive theatrical release of the film. Even though the theaters in Maharashtra are yet to reopen, the Bell Bottom team went ahead to release the trailer on August 3 and are all set to release their films on the big screen worldwide on August 19 in 3D. ## The release date of Bell Bottom was announced after the Maharashtra government assured of reopening of cinemas from August 2. However, the entire film fraternity was taken aback by surprise when the state government didn't permit the cinema halls to reopen in the unlock order. The decision might have come as a big shock to the Bell Bottom makers as Maharashtra is the major market for Hindi films. ## However, according to reports, the good news for the reopening of cinema halls in Maharashtra is around the corner. The reports are claiming that the multiplex and single screen associations are in constant conversations with the Government of Maharashtra to pass an order for the reopening of cinema halls. It is being said that cinemas in the state will start functioning before August 15, and therefore, Bell Bottom most probably will have a smooth theatrical release nationwide. ## That's not all, even the team of Bell Bottom is constantly in touch with the concerned people to gauge the ground reality. "Right from some state officials to the cinema hall associations, the Bell Bottom team is in conversation with all stakeholders and are confident that positive news will come their way within the next 10 days", a source told Pinkvilla. ## Meanwhile, the trailer of Bell Bottom was launched on the evening of August 3. The Ranjit Tewari directorial promises to be a thrilling big-screen experience. The movie features Akshay Kumar, Vani Kapoor, Lara Dutta, and Huma Qureshi in key roles. Nayattu received a lot of appreciation and accolades from viewers who praised the story, direction, and the cast's performances. ## The movie is now getting remakes in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil languages. Martin Prakkat, director of the original, has confirmed that the Hindi remake rights have been picked up by actor John Abraham, to be remade under his film company, JA Entertainment. ## The Telugu remake rights have reportedly been picked up by star Allu Arjun. His home production Geetha Arts acquired the remake rights. The film will go on floors by the month of December 2021. According to reports, the makers were looking for a fresh pairing and that's Kiara Advani came to their mind opposite Kartik Aaryan. ## Kartik and Kiara are already working on "Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2", and Nadiadwala's film marks their second collaboration. The actress too is all excited for her maiden collaboration with Sajid and a reunion with Kartik after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2. The actress releases an official statement days after the arrest of her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, in an alleged case of pornographic content production and distribution by the Mumbai Police. ## In the statement released by Mrs. Kundra, she urged everyone to respect her privacy and asked everyone not to pass any judgment on her. She also blasted the 'media trail', claiming that she and her family have always followed the law. ## "Yes! The past few days have been challenging, on every front", the statement read. The film is said to be a remake of a foreign film, for which, the details are yet to be known. ## Ali Abbas Zafar was supposed to begin a high-budget superhero film with Katrina Kaif, but due to the covid-19 pandemic, the project couldn't go on floors on time, and now, it is said that the makers have postponed it to the next year. With the superhero film delayed, Zafar has started prepping for his next which is a thriller film with Shahid. ## According to reports, the film will largely be shot in Abu Dhabi later this year.
