Filmmaker Vipul Amrutlal Shah Will Produce 12 Short Films With Young Talent

The director-producer, Vipul Amrutlal Shah is all set to produce as many as a dozen of short films. The filmmaker has said that there are stories that do not fit into a feature film or OTT web show format but still, these stories need to be told. ## "I have done around 1,000 episodes in daily soaps and made films also but there are some amazing stories that can only be told in 15 to 20 minutes duration. It's a different and exciting format and something that I have not attempted so far", he said.## "There are several ideas and stories that cannot fit into a feature film or OTT web show format but still, these stories need to be told, and today the format of the short film is available. It is a very exciting format, exciting content, and exciting way of narrating a story", the filmmaker added. ## The filmmaker who is known for helming movies like Namastey London, Aankhen, Singh Is Kinng, Commando series, and a few more will largely work with the new talented writers for the short films. He stated that it is excited to work with the young talent who he feels are way ahead of their time. ## He further stated that these new writers are amazing, well prepared, and very well knowledgeable about the work they do which makes anyone want to work with them. He said that his team will continue to meet new and some established talent and read good stories as well. ## The filmmaker also said that he and his team are in no rush to release these short films. The actress recalled her special dance teacher who ingrained the love for the stage in her. ## "One of my most special teachers from school was Ms. Bose. She used to teach us Indian dance and music in junior school. I moved to Delhi when I was seven and in second class, and it was she who ingrained the love for the stage in me. From a very young age she would take me in her programs", Manushi told IANS.## The 23-years old actress told that even though her teacher was among the strictest teachers, she loved her dearly as she learned discipline because of her teacher's strictness. "She was among the strictest teachers I had but I loved her dearly because through her strictness I learned about performance discipline, and I understood that when you enjoy performing and like the stage, there is a lot of practice and self-discipline to go with it". ## Manushi Chhillar, who is all set to make her Bollywood debut with superstar Akshay Kumar in "Prithviraj", remembered the special bond she shared with her teacher.## "As I grew older and left for senior school, I remember I used to meet her once a year during our annual day and she would come with her squad of girls from the junior school to senior school. I would always touch her feet and still do whenever I get a chance to meet her, but she would never let me finish my namaskar and would hug me", she said.## "I share a special bond with Ms. Bose and she is one of my most special teachers. I remember that when we were finishing class XII, we had our candlelight ceremony and everyone was quite emotional. The only teacher I kept thinking about was her because she had seen me grow and always encouraged and pushed me to give my best. Narcotics Control Bureau Arrests Rhea Chakraborty's Brother And Samuel Miranda In Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case

Coming as a big development in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested Rhea Chakraborty's brother Showik Chakraborty and Sushant Singh Rajput's house manager, Samuel Miranda on Friday, September 4. ## According to NCB officials, the duo was arrested after 10 hours of questioning and after the agency got adequate evidence against them about their involvement in the drug case.## Earlier in the day, the NCB also carried out a raid at the residences of Showik Chakraborty and Samuel Miranda. The department also seized Showik's laptop and mobile phone.## The NCB had also told a court that Showik used to order ganja and marijuana at the behest of her sister Rhea from drug-peddler Abdul Basit Parihar, who has been arrested and made payments to him over Google Pay.## Showik and Miranda will be produced before a court on Saturday. Upset With Media Outrage On Film Industry, Producers Guild Of India Pens An Open Letter

The Producers Guild of India, on Friday (September 4), has penned an open letter regarding the attacks on the reputation of the Indian film industry across all media. Since the last few months after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, there have been many reports in the media that targeted the film industry in the names of nepotism, movie mafia, drug mafia, etc. ## "The tragic death of a promising young star has been used by some as a tool to defame and slander the film industry and its members. A picture has been painted of the industry a terrible place for the outsiders to aspire to; a place that threatens those who dare to enter it with contempt and derision; a murky den of substance abuse and criminality. This narrative is salacious enough for the media to exploit to great effect in order to boost its ratings, readership and page views", the letter read. ## "But it is not the truth", the letter further stated. "Like any other sector, there is no doubt that the film industry has its imperfections, and there must always be an ongoing attempt by any industry to improve upon itself, learn and evolve while weeding out unsavory elements or improper practices that hold it back. But to paint an entire industry with the same brush is a gross misrepresentation of reality". ## While this film industry has its failure to some extent, there is another undeniable expect is that it is one of the largest industries which provides thousands of jobs, boost travel and tourism, which plays an important part to boost an economy. Stating about the same, the letter further read -## "The film industry employs hundreds of thousands of people, boost travel and tourism, and is one of the most important sources of the soft power of India across the world. It has entertained hundreds of millions of people for over a century and has brought joy, honor, and glory to the nation.
