The National Award-Winning cinematographer and film director, P.C. Sreeram has said that he once had rejected a movie because of Kangana Ranaut who herself is a 3-times National Film Award winner. ## P.C. Sreeram who won the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for the Tamil movie 'Nayakan' in 1987, wrote in a tweet on Tuesday (September 8) that he felt uneasy in working with Kangana Ranaut and hence he rejected the movie. ## "Had to reject a film as it had Kangana Ranaut as the lead. Deep down I felt uneasy and explained my stand to the makers and they were understanding. Some times its only abt what feels right. Rhea Chakraborty Arrested By NCB After 19 Hours Of Questioning

Actress and girlfriend of the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Chakraborty has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on Tuesday in the drugs case linked to the death of the actor Sushant. The actress was questioned by NCB for almost 19 hours over 3 days. ## The prime accused in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case will be taken for a medical test next at 4 PM as part of the formalities. During the questioning hours, Rhea admitted that she was consuming not just marijuana, but also other banned drugs, as per sources. ## The actor had earlier admitted 'procuring drugs' along with her brother Showik, who has been arrested by NCB. This is another major disclosure made by her, apart from reportedly taking the names of Bollywood stars who were also consuming drugs. ## Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer, Satish Maneshinde said in a statement, "Travesty of Justice. Three central agencies hounding a single Woman just because she was in love with a drug addict and was suffering from mental health issues for several years under the care of five Leading Psychiatrists in Mumbai, who ended up committing suicide due to the consumption of illegally administered medicines and used drugs".## On Monday, as per Republic TV, Rhea in her interrogation revealed that whenever she called Sushant's house help Dipesh Sawant and asked for drugs, it was not for her but for Sushant Singh Rajput and his friends. Rhea also revealed that through his brother Showik, she had met the alleged drug peddler Basit Parihar, who is currently in NCB's custody, on five occasions and that he used to visit their house. ## Rhea Chakraborty arrested under Section 8(c), 20(b), 27(a), 28, and 29 of the NDPS Act. Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty has filed a police complaint against Sushant's sister Priyanka Singh, before the Mumbai police on Monday, September 7. ## Rhea cited that "Sushant passed away five days after he obtained a prescription wherein he was unlawfully prescribed psychotropic substances at the behest of his sister Priyanka", in a six-page long complaint as reported by TOI. ## Apart from Sushant's sister, Priyanka Singh, Rhea urged in her complaint that an FIR should also be registered against Dr. Tarun Kumar, under the provision of the IPC 1860, the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Drugs Act, 1985, and Telemedicine Practice Guidelines, 2020. ## "Rhea Chakraborty has filed a Police Complaint before the Mumbai Police against Priyanka Singh, Dr. Tarun Kumar of Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital, and Others for offenses of Forgery, NDPS Act, and Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines 2020 for having sent a bogus Medical Prescription depicting SSR as an Out-Patient Department person when he was in Mumbai on 8th June 2020 prescribing Schedule Drugs which are listed in Schedule of NDPS Act listed at items 36 and 37 as Psychotropic Substances and Tele Medicines Practice Guidelines 3.7.4 dealing with Prohibited List, which prohibits prescribing of any Narcotic or Psychotropic Substance listed in the NDPS Act. It is misconduct under 3.7.1.4 of the Tele Medicine Practice Guidelines", said Rhea Chakraborty's lawyer Satish Maneshinde in a statement. ## Rhea Chakraborty is currently being probed by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in a drug case linked to Sushant's death. Probing the drugs angle linked to Sushant Singh Rajput's death case, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) yesterday had arrested Rhea Chakraborty's brother, Showik, Sushant's house manager Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant, a member of the actor's personal staff. ## A day after, the NCB again summoned the actress to join the investigation and further questioning in the late actor's case. While the investigation is still on, Rhea lawyer Satish Maneshinde said in a statement issued on Sunday that the actress is ready for arrest. ## "Rhea Chakraborty is ready for arrest as this is a Witch Hunt and if loving someone is a crime she will face the consequences of her love," Satish Maneshinde said in his statement.## "Being innocent, she has not approached any court for Anticipatory Bail in all the cases foisted by Bihar Police now with CBI, ED, and NCB," he added.## Also Read - "You Have Effectively Demolished A Middle-Class Family", Rhea's Father## FYI, Sushant was found dead in his apartment in Mumbai on June 14.
