Angrezi Medium to re-release in Dubai as theaters reopen on May 27
Late Irrfan Khan's last film Angrezi Medium which theatrical release was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown in the country, is all set to become one of the first movies to be released in Dubai as the cinemas are reopening there on Wednesday, May 27 after the two months of break. ## However, the film will not get to release with full capacity as the cinemas have to follow some strict guidelines issued by the government. Considering the health of people, cinemas are allowed to run only at 30% capacity while the elderly people above 60 and children bellow 12 will not be allowed inside the theatres. ## *Allocating 2 seats 4 customers & to leave 2 seats empty in each row. *To keep every alternate row empty, with floor marking shall be in place.* Elderly above 60 years & children below 12 not allowed entry.* Number of shows 2 b reduced 2 allow more time 4 sanitisation.— Sreedhar Pillai (@sri50) May 26, 2020 ## Talking about the Angrezi Medium, the film was released on March 13 in India but soon found itself in deep trouble after most of the states of India decided to close the cinema hauls due to coronavirus threat. The movie, however, was released on the digital platform Hotstar and it was well appreciated by the cinema lovers. ## The re-release of the film will certainly bring the cheers on people's faces who have been waiting to witness the magic of Irrfan Khan who passed away last month fighting with cancer on the big screen for the very last time. Despite being two months old, we can expect that people will still walk into the theatre to watch the film. ## Angrezi Medium is a comedy-drama film directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande under the banners of Maddock Films and London Calling Production. The film is a spiritual sequel to the 2017 film Hindi Medium which starred Irrfan Khan and Saba Qamar in the lead roles while Angrezi Medium stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepak Dobriyal, Radhika Madan, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ranvir Shorey along with the late Irrfan Khan. ## Stay tuned...
