Mumbai, July 4 - After getting a solid response to the teaser, which is playing in theatres, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn's Son of Sardaar 2 is gearing up to launch the most important asset of the movie, the trailer, in the second week of July. ## According to the latest reports, the much-awaited trailer of this comic caper will be launched on Friday, July 11. The makers have planned a grand event to unveil the trailer in Mumbai, and the entire cast is expected to be present at the event. ## The trailer of the movie is expected to generate the hype further, as the makers believe it is a solid entertaining cut, staying true to the core of the franchise. It is a big-scale family entertainer, the trailer will touch upon the plot, grandeur, comic moments and also action. ## SOS2 is directed by Vijay Kumar Arora and produced by Devgn Films and Jio Studios. Mumbai, July 3 - After last doing a film together 17 years ago with Tashan (2008), Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan are reportedly reuniting for a thriller film, to be directed by Priyadarshan. The film has been in the news for the past few months, and now, more details have emerged regarding the same. ## According to the report by Hindustan Times, the project in question has been titled "Haiwaan", and the filming for the same is expected to commence in August this year. It is said that the makers feel the title describes the film's subject the best, which is reportedly an edge-of-the-seat thriller. ## The report also stated that other titles were also under consideration, but Haiwaan but clicked unanimously, given the characters the lead actors play. ## Akshay Kumar, meanwhile, recently wrapped up the shoot of horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan. The actor-director duo will also be reuniting for the third instalment of the iconic comedy franchise, Here Pheri, which is expected to start rolling by early next year. ## Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, was last seen on the big screen in "Devara: Part 1" in 2024. Mumbai, July 3 - Ending months of speculations and anticipation, producer Namit Malhotra has officially announced the grand cinematic adaptation of the epic Ramayana. Directed by Dangal fame Nitesh Tiwari, the film was announced on July 3 with a breathtaking video that revealed the primary cast and teased the film's stunning scale. ## Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor will take on the revered role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will portray Goddess Sita. Yash steps into the role of Ravana, with Sunny Deol portraying Hanuman, while Ravi Dubey is cast as Laxman. ## Though only five actors were formally announced, the ensemble cast will also feature Kajal Aggarwal, Arun Govil, Rakul Preet Singh, Sheeba Chaddha, Lara Dutta, and Kunal Kapoor, among others, in significant roles in this timeless saga. ## The announcement video itself has left fans awestruck with its cinematic brilliance. Produced by Namit Malhotra's Prime Focus in collaboration with Yash's Monster Mind Creations, the video showcases a sweeping vision of the epic tale, brought to life with world-class VFX by DNEG and a thrilling background score by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. ## Towards the end of the video, the makers also released the official first look glimpse of Ranbir Kapoor as Ram and Yash as Ravana.
