It is both the actor's next release and there is huge anticipation around it among the fans. ## Jolly LLB 3 is the first time both "Jollys", Arshad Warsi and Akshay Kumar, cross each other's path, after leading the first two films solo, respectively. The first two films were based on some true incidents, and the third one is no different in this regard. ## During an interview with Pinkvilla, Akshay Kumar confirmed that Jolly LLB 3 is inspired by some true events. While he refused to share details, it is said that the movie is based on a farmer's issue. Ajay Devgn's 'Shaitaan 2' Officially In Works For 2026 Production

Mumbai, June 18 - After scoring a big success with Shaitaan, which was the remake of the Gujarati movie Vash, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn is all set to thrill the audience with its sequel. The first film also starred R. Madhavan, Jyothika, and Janaki Bodiwala. ## According to the latest report by Peepingmoon.com, Shaitaan is being developed into a full-fledged franchise with a sequel officially in the works. Unlike the first movie, Shaitaan 2 won't be the remake of Vash Level 2, which is scheduled to hit the big screen in August this year. ## Slated to go on floors in the first quarter of 2026, the sequel will reportedly shift its setting to Konkan, a region in Maharashtra known as a hub for black magic practices, and it will be an original script. Vikas Bahl will return to direct Shaitaan 2. ## Aamil Keeyan Khan has been developing the sequel since last year, and he is believed to have nearly finished the scripting, with only minor refinements remaining. Mumbai, June 17 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has often shown his love for big screen cinema, and he is doing the same for his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par by protecting its exclusive theatrical window, even at the cost of crores of rupees. ## It is known to all that Aamir has not decided to sell the film's post-theatrical OTT rights, as he wants people to watch the film on the big screen without having any idea when it will be available on home media for free. While his decision is being cheered by the trade, he has sacrificed a huge sum to stand firm on his decision. ## According to trade analyst Komal Nahta, Aamir has turned down a huge 120 crore offer from Amazon Prime Video for the film's post-theatrical OTT release. The decision he has taken is not because he wanted more money from OTT platforms, but because he has decided to try and change the game. ## Normally, the films are made available on OTT after an 8-weeks of their theatrical release, and this is something Aamir is completely against. He believes that there should be no fixed window for any movie and that they should be played in theatres as long as possible. ## In the post-COVID-19 world, filmmakers started having pre-agreements with OTT platforms with a fixed theatrical window. Trade believes that this is one of the main reasons footfalls have reduced in cinemas, especially for mid-size films, as there is a section of audience which is ready to wait for 8 weeks to watch them for 'free', which was not the case before Covid-19. ## This is something Aamir wants to change, and he is leading by example by not selling OTT rights of Sitaare Zameen Par, and has vowed to do the same with his upcoming movies. Aamir Khan's 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Cleared By CBFC

Mumbai, June 17 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's much-awaited comedy drama Sitaare Zameen Par, which is the adaptation of the 2018 Spanish film Champions, has reportedly been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for June 20 release. ## Directed by RS Prasanna, the film was in trouble over a few scenes, as the CBFC stalled the censor formalities and requested a couple of cuts. However, Aamir and director Prasanna disagreed with the same, according to a report by Bollywood Hungama. ## It is said that the film has now been cleared by the CBFC, though it is not mentioned how both parties reached a consensus, as per the report. The film is reportedly 2 hours and 35 minutes long, making it shorter than Taare Zameen Par, of which the upcoming film is a spiritual prequel. ## Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Sitaare Zameen Par follows a suspended basketball coach who must serve community service by helping a team of players with disabilities prepare for a tournament. Mumbai, June 16 - Superstar Akshay Kumar-led Housefull 5 continues to do well and has crossed 150 crores net collection after scoring a good second weekend domestically. The film witnessed almost a 100% growth from the second Friday to Sunday. ## The comedy entertainer scored approximately 6 crore net on the second Friday, followed by a jump of around 60% for 9.50 crores net on Saturday, and another 20% jump on Sunday for around 11.50 crores net. It minted approximately 27 crores net in the second weekend, which is down by around 65% from the opening weekend. The total collection of the movie is around 154 crores net in 10 days. ## Housefull 5 has been enjoying almost a free run so far, but superstar Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par is coming next week, which means the screens will be shared. The good thing for HF5 is that the word of mouth is in favour, which should ensure enough number of screens to continue scoring steady collections at lower levels. ## At this point, the film is heading for 175+ crore net finish, but the entry into the 200 crore club can also not be ruled out, depending on how it performs after the arrival of SZP. Mumbai, June 14 - The comedy entertainer Housefull 5, starring superstar Akshay Kumar, has topped a gross collection of 200 crores at the worldwide box office, becoming only the third Bollywood movie of 2025, after Chhaava and Raid 2, to achieve this feat. ## Tarun Mansukhani's directorial hit the milestone of the double century on its 8th day, with a total worldwide collection of around 204 crores, including approximately 160 crores in India and around 44 crores at the overseas box office. ## Housefull 5 is the second fastest Bollywood title of the year to hit 200 crores gross globally, after Chhaava. It is also one of the fastest Akshay Kumar movies to do the same. Overall, it is Akshay's 11th movie in the 200 crore club worldwide, and third post the Covid-19 pandemic. ## HF5 will be crossing Raid 2 (236 crore) in the next few days to emerge as the second biggest Bollywood grosser of the year. Mumbai, June 13 - Superstar Akshay Kumar's comedy entertainer Housefull 5 has completed the first week of its theatrical run, grossing close to 200 crores at the worldwide box office. ## Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the 5th instalment of the hit franchise has grossed approximately 152 crores (127 crores net) at the domestic box office, while its overseas collection is estimated at 43 crores, for a worldwide total of around 195 crores in 7 days. ## Housefull 5 has become the third highest-grossing Bollywood film of 2025, behind Salman Khan's Sikandar, which grossed around 185 crores. Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava is currently the biggest grosser with around 808 crores, followed by Ajay Devgn's Raid 2 (236 crores). ## The latest hit is the highest-grossing film of Akshay Kumar since August 2023, when OMG 2 grossed approximately 222 crores. Mumbai, June 11 - Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan is opting for a strategic release of his upcoming film Sitaare Zameen Par, which debuts on the big screen on June 20. The film is the spiritual successor to Khan's 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. ## Sitaare Zameen Par has been in the news for all the right reasons. It has already been confirmed that the movie won't be released on any OTT platform after its theatrical release, a decision which is being enjoyed by exhibitors. ## According to the report by Pinkvilla, Aamir, along with his national distributing partner, PVR-Inox, has decided to give a platform release to Sitaare Zameen Par, which is basically to increase the shows on a real-time basis throughout the day. It is a one of its kind strategy to release the film. ## It is said that Aamir Khan is super confident of the film, but he is also well aware of the change in audience dynamics post the Covid-19 pandemic. Keeping this in mind, the makers have reportedly decided to release the film on around 1200 screens nationwide on the opening day. ## The idea is to add more screens based on audience word of mouth. "The release will be more concentrated towards the high-performing cinema halls in the respective areas, before slowly transitioning to the mass belts on demand", says the report. ## The good thing is that no one knows when the film will be available on home media since Aamir has decided not to release it on OTT, and this gives the makers enough time to implement their release strategy. The spy action thriller was supposed to bring together Indian cinema's two biggest stars, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, for the first time in full-fledged roles since Karan Arjun. ## According to the report by Peepingmoon.com, YRF's head, Aditya Chopra, is reassessing the future of Spy Universe to give it a new direction. It is said that Chopra is concerned about spy universe films becoming formulaic and "veering towards repetition". ## Chopra believes that the franchise needs a revitalised approach to storytelling and presentation, and in this process, the studio has reportedly paused the development of Tiger vs Pathaan, which was supposed to start rolling in late 2026. ## YRF next has Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR's War 2, scheduled to hit the big screen on August 14, followed by Alia Bhatt's Alpha in December this year.
