Sunny Deol Hints At The Sequel To 'Apne'
Mumbai, August 14 - Sunny Deol is on cloud nine after the historic success of "Gadar 2: The Katha Continues". Directed by Anil Sharma, the movie is running riot at the box office and has already grossed approx. 180 crores worldwide in just three days.## After the memorable box office success of "Gadar 2", there are chatters within the industry regarding the sequels to Deol's biggest hits in the late 90s or early '00, including "Damini 2", "Border 2", "Yamala Pagla Deewana 3", as well as family drama "Apne 2".## While there is no confirmed development on most of the aforementioned sequels, "Apne 2" seems to be in development and it could well be actor's one of the immediate next films. It is to known everyone that the demand for the "Apne" sequel has been going on for a long time and the makers have confirmed in the past that they are working on the script for the same.## Now, during the success meet of "Gadar 2", Sunny Deol confirmed that the script of "Apne 2" is ready and they are figuring out ways when to start the movie. He called it a lovely story and said that it will be the extension of the first movie.## The primary cast, led by Sunny Deol, Dharmendra, Bobby Deol, and Shilpa Shetty is expected to return for the sequel, also, there have been reports that Sunny Deol's son Karan Deol could also be a part of the movie. ## Meanwhile, Sunny Deol will next be seen in the multistarrar action drama film "Baap", which also stars Mithun Chakraborty, Sanjay Dutt, and Jackie Shroff.
