A Film on Former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee Announced

Mumbai, June 28 - The biopic of former Prime Minister of India and Bharat Ratna, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee is in development. Producer Vinod Bhanushali and Sandeep Singh have joined hands to bring the epic life story of the late PM of India to the big screen.## The movie, titled "Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon Yeh Desh Rehna Chahiye - Atal", will be an adaptation of Penguin Random House India's book The Untold Vajpayee: Politician And Paradox by author Ullekh NP. While the cast and crew of the movie are yet to be announced, it will start shooting early next year and will be released on Christmas 2023, which will also mark the 99th birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji.## The movie will be produced by Vinod Bhanushali, Sandeep Singh, Sam Khan, Vishal Gurnani, and Kamlesh Bhanushali and co-produced by Juhi Parekh Mehta, Zeeshan Ahmad, and Shivv Sharma. He was one of the co-founders and a senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and the first Indian prime minister not of the Indian National Congress to serve a full term in office.## During Atal Ji's tenure as prime minister, India carried out the Pokhran-II nuclear tests in 1998, on which a movie titled "Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran" was also released in 2018 starring John Abraham. It was earlier reported that DSP aka Devi Sri Prasad would be composing the music for the film, however, he has reportedly parted his ways due to some reasons.## Now, according to Bollywood Hungama, Salman Khan has brought KGF fame Ravi Basrur to score the music. Basrur had also scored the BGM of Salman Khan's "Antim: The Final Truth" and it got appreciation. The report says that Salman approached Ravi Basrur and he immediately said yes to him and come on board to take the movie to the new heights, especially in the music department. ## Ravi Basrur has already started working on the film and has the theme music for KEKD (Bhaijaan) ready. Los Angeles, June 28 - A few days ago, a rumour surfaced on social media that Disney Studio has offered Hollywood superstar Johnny Depp a whopping $301 million deal to return to the "Pirates of the Caribbean" franchise to reprise the role of Captain Jack Sparrow. ## The rumor was started by the Australian gossip site Poptopic (according to New York Post). However, the latest development is that there are no such talks happening at the moment. According to Marca, Depp's spokesperson has denied rumors of the actor holding talks with Disney to reprise the iconic role. ## Johnny Depp was earlier kicked out by Disney from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" film franchise after his ex-wife Amber Heard accused him of domestic violence. However, Depp recently won the legal battle against heard which rumoured to lead Disney to apologize to him. ## During his defamation trial against Amber Heard, Depp's legal team argued that Disney dropped him from the Pirates franchise following his ex-wife's 2018 Washington Post op-ed, in which she describes herself as a domestic abuse victim.## During Depp's cross-examination, Heard's lawyer Ben Rottenborn confronted the actor with a statement he had made to the press and asked "If Disney came to you with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth would get you to go back and work with Disney on a 'Pirates of the Caribbean' film, correct?"## "That is true", Depp replied. Akshay Kumar-Fronted 'Capsule Gill' Brings Stunning Supporting Cast Onboard

Mumbai, June 28 - Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is all set to kickstart the shooting for his next film. He is currently shooting for the Hindi remake of the Tamil movie "Soorarai Pottru" which is expected to wrap up in the next few days.## Akshay will next take up Pooja Entertainment and Kyta Productions' joint production "Capsule Gill", which is based on the life of former additional chief mining engineer, Jaswant Singh Gill. The movie is set against the backdrop of the 1989 Raniganj coal mining disaster during which Gill carried out a rescue operation and saved the lives of 64 workers trapped in a flooded coal mine. ## According to Peepingmoon.com, the shooting of the film will commence on July 4th in the UK. "The pre-production and all have been completed and the team will fly to the UK on June 29th". Akshay will reportedly shoot there till July 31st and then return to India for the promotion of Raksha Bandhan. He will resume shooting for this film in September in Mumbai, followed by two short schedules in Raigarh and Raniganj later this year, per report.## "Capsule Gill" will be directed by Suresh Desai and it will feature Parineeti Chopra as the female lead opposite Akshay. It will mark their second film together after "Kesari". Meanwhile, the makers have reportedly brought an ensemble supporting cast on board the movie. ## The same report states that the movie will feature Kumud Mishra, Pawan Malhotra, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, and Ravi Kishan in key roles along with Virendra Saxena, Varun Badola, Rajesh Sharma, and Ananth Mahadevan. Parineeti will reportedly play Akshay's wife in the movie. It had grossed 76 crores through the second Tuesday at the worldwide box office. This was enough for it to outshine "Avane Srimannarayana (ASN)" to become the biggest movie of Shetty's career.## Produced by Rakshit Shetty, and G. S. Gupta, the movie scored another 8.55 crores net in its 3rd weekend, which takes the total net collection to 73.05 crores, including 59.13 crores in the original Kannada languages. At the overseas box office, it has minted approx. 5.50 crores gross so far, pushing worldwide gross to 89.50 crores in 17 days. ## "777 Charlie" will become the first 100 crores worldwide grosser for Rakshit Shetty. Mumbai, June 26 - Hollywood superstar Tom Cruise, at the age of 59, has scored an unbelievable milestone at the box office as his action drama film Top Gun Maverick has raced past the $1 billion mark globally.## The Paramount/Skydance movie has become only the second title to reach the milestone during the covid-19 pandemic and the first for Tom Cruise in his entire career. According to Deadline, the movie has scored an estimated $1.006B worldwide, including domestic's (North America) estimated $521.7M and $484.7M from the international box office through Sunday. It took just 31 days to break into a $1 billion global haul. ## The sequel to 1986's "Top Gun" scored $900 million last Monday, and a few days prior had topped $800M to become Cruise's biggest movie ever at the worldwide box office. Hailed as one of the greatest movie sequels ever made in Hollywood history, the movie is now the second-highest-grossing movie during the pandemic after "Spier-Man: No Way Home" ($1.89B) worldwide. ## Directed by Joseph Kosinski, "Top Gun 2" has been on a record-breaking run since its debut in late May. It scored Cruise's biggest overseas and domestic debuts, and despite the release of "Jurassic World Dominion" in the following weekend, it remained unaffected overseas as well as domestically. ## "Top Gun Maverick's" performance is a testament to the work that Paramount's distribution and marketing teams put behind it, while Cruise himself deserves massive credit for visiting several countries to promote the movie. The $1 billion success of TGM becomes even more special as it has come without a single penny from world's biggest movie market China and Russia. ## The movie stars Tom Cruise as Captain Pete "Maverick" Mitchell reprising his role from the original, alongside Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Lewis Pullman, Ed Harris, and Val Kilmer.
