The film has tentatively titled Thalapathy 65. ## The teaser released along with the announcement suggests that there will be a lot of guns and bullets involved in Thalapathy 65. This will be the fourth film of Vijay for the Sun Pictures banner. New Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad To Host Day-Night Test Against England

Chennai and Ahmedabad will be the two host venues for the four-Test series of England's tour of India early next year as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) along with England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on Thursday announced the fixtures for Team India's home series against England. ## The much-awaited Test series for Anthony de Mello Trophy will kick-start from the 5th of February in Chennai's Chepauk stadium. Chennai will also host the second Test while the newly built Sardar Patel Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad will host the remaining two Test matches including the 3rd Test as D/N. ## Motera, the largest cricket stadium in the world, boasts of state of the art facilities and a seating capacity of 110,000. It will host India's second Day-Night Test match at home after the huge success of India's first-ever pink-ball Test that was played in Kolkata last year against Bangladesh. ## Apart from the last two Tests, the Motera Stadium in Ahmedabad will also be hosting all the five T20Is before the 3-match ODI series take place in Pune from the 23rd of March. ## "The BCCI prioritizes the health and safety of both teams and will leave no stone unturned to make sure that the tour is held adhering to all safety protocols agreed by the BCCI and ECB medical teams. Both Boards have worked closely to put together an exciting series that promises to provide high octane action between two powerhouses of world cricket. Director Abir Sengupta, who is gearing up for the theatrical release of his upcoming comedy-drama film Indoo Ki Jawani starring Kiara Advani and Aditya Seal, says in the current situation, more than box office numbers, filmmakers need the support of the audience to bring back normalcy to the culture of theatrical releases.## "It is a tough time for us to gain back that confidence, to go to the theatre and watch a film, considering the pandemic, but we also need the dose of entertainment and escape. Former India wicket-keeper Parthiv Patel, who became Test cricket's youngest wicket-keeper batsman when debuted for India in 2002, has announced his retirement from all forms of cricket on Wednesday, December 9. The 35-year-old brought down the curtains on his 18 years of career after representing India in 25 Tests, 38 ODIs, and 2 T20Is. ## Having last played for India in 2018, Patel put out a statement on Twitter announcing his retirement from all forms of the game. "Today, I announce my retirement from all forms of cricket, and as I bring down the curtains on this 18 year old cricketing journey, I feel heavier with gratitude towards many. The BCCI showed a generous amount of confidence and faith in a 17 old boy to play for India. "It was a bit scratchy in the first ODI, to begin with, but then I addressed a few things and worked on a few aspects of my game that I wanted to purely to get into the best headspace that I possibly can because I've never been a fan of thinking too much technique.## "I think when I get into a good headspace is when I feel like I can play and switch between all formats and adjust according to conditions as well. Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan says he did not just want to come and shoot in India, but bring out the true essence by having an Indian character, and that is the reason Dimple Kapadia became an important part of his recently released, Tenet.## "I've always been struck with the spy genre, one of the things that is really fun about the genre is as an audience member, you get to travel the world, be it places you would never normally go and see things you would never normally see," Nolan told IANS while breaking down the reason behind the diverse cast of his latest film.## "One of the ways in which you make that meaningful and real is to have a very international cast, and have people who are from all over the world, or actors playing different nationalities", he added.## He continued, "For example, I didn't want to come to India and just use American actors and use Mumbai as a backdrop. I wanted to have an Indian character. So Dimple Kapadia in the character of Priya became a very important part of the film".## "Taking the audience on a journey, and giving them the feeling of having people (from) all around the world, it's fun. Saif Ali Khan, who is set to portray the character of 'Lankesh' in Om Raut's magnum opus, Adipurush, has landed in troubled water after his controversial statement of "justifying the abduction of Sita by Raavan" in a recent interview. ## In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, Saif had opened up on playing Raavan in Prabhas starrer Adhipurush and said, "It's interesting to play a demon king, less strictures in that. But we will make him humane, up the entertainment quotient, justify his abduction of Sita and the war with Ram as revenge for what was done to his sister Surpanakha by Lakshman, who cut off her nose".## His statement hurt the sentiments of a section of citizens and they demanded Saif's omission from the movie which will release in 2022. Mumbai BJP leader Ram Kadam criticized the actor for the same and had tweeted, "Actor #SaifAliKhan makes an extremely shocking statement regarding his forthcoming film Adipurush. Saif who plays Ravan's character says Ravan's abduction of Sita Maa will be justified in the film. Ravan's humane side will be shown and his war against Sri Ram will be justified". ## "Director @OmRaut director, you made #Tanhaji which was well received worldwide bcz it does justice to Hindu pride and Marathi asmita. But if #Adhipurush plans to show Ravan in positive light and justify the inhuman act of abduction of Sita Maa, we will never allow that to happen. Hope better sense prevails #JaiShriRam", he added. ## After found himself on the wrong side, Saif has now clarified and withdrawn his statement and has apologized for hurting the sentiments. He said that he never intended to hurt anyone as he himself idolize Lord Ram. Filmmaker Ashutosh Gowariker's film Panipat, starring Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, and Sanjay Dutt was released one year ago on this day (December 6). The movie depicts the events that took place during the Third Battle of Panipat in 1761 between the Maratha Empire and the invading Afghan army of Ahmad Shah Abdali played by Sanjay Dutt.## Kriti Sanon, who played the role of Parvati Bai, wife of Sadashiv Rao Bhau played by Arjun Kapoor in the movie, gets nostalgic remembering her role and the action sequence filmed on her in the movie.
