ICC Announced The Revised Schedule For The 2022 Women's ODI World Cup

The International Cricket Council (ICC), on Tuesday (December 15), announced the revised schedule for the 2022 Women's ODI World Cup which was earlier scheduled to be played in 2021 but had to be postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.## The 8-team 50-over tournament will now begin on March 4 in New Zealand with the opening match to be played between the hosts and Qualifier while the final set to be played on April 3 under lights at the Hagley Oval in Christchurch.## Apart from the host New Zealand, Australia, England, South Africa, and India have already qualified for the tournament while the three remaining teams will be decided from the ICC qualifying tournament which is set to take place June 26-10 July 2021 in Sri Lanka. ## The 8-teams will play 31 matches including the final in 6 cities, such as Auckland (Eden Park), Hamilton (Seddon Park), Tauranga (Bay Oval), Wellington (Basin Reserve), Christchurch (Hagley Oval), Dunedin (University Oval). The semifinals will be played at the Hagley Oval and Basin Reserve.## "The ICC has made a long-term commitment to elevating women's cricket as part of our strategy to grow and develop the global game. He recalls how well Dutt bonded with children on the sets of the film while shooting in Kyrgyzstan.## "In the film, Sanjay sir takes up the challenge to protect kids from the shackles of religious terrorism. In fact for the shooting that took place in Kyrgyzstan, we had taken kids from various places all over the country to portray an ethnic mix. Sanjay sir and the kids bonded really well", Raaj who plays cricket coach in the movie said to IANS. ## "After the shooting hours, all of us would play games and engage in various fun activities. One could notice the playfulness of a mega actor then. I am sure that he is a doting father to his kids. After the first part of the Gal Gadot starrer superhero film, Wonder Woman (2017), fans around the world were eagerly waiting for its sequel since then. The second part, Wonder Woman 1984 was shot in 2018 and started the promotions in the next in the hope of a timely release. However, it was pushed back on four occasions due to the covid-19 pandemic and now, it is finally set to release on December 25 in the USA. ## Wonder Woman 1984 was indeed one of the much-awaited films around the world for various reasons and the pre-release buzz around has been insane. Though things are still not the same as Warner Bros. has decided to release the movie on streaming platform HBO Max and in theaters simultaneously. This move by the makers was largely criticized, however, Wonder Woman aka Gal Gadot is one of the few who has supported the studios' plan to release the movie on HBO Max. ## "The truth of the matter is that we didn't have any better options. We felt like we were sitting on the movie for such a long time. We shot the movie in 2018, we started promoting it in 2019, we pushed the movie four times. We felt like the movie was so relevant to what's happening in the world right now that you come to a place at a certain time where you are like, 'ok' I just want people to watch the movie", Gal Gadot told Digital Spy according to LetsOTT.com. ## Warner Bros. didn't stop here as the studio has put his entire schedule of 2021 on HBO Max and theaters which includes movies like, Godzilla vs Kong, Dune, Matrix 4, The Suicide Squad, and many more. The decision was taken considering the pandemic situation. ## On the other hand, according to LetsOTT, Warner Bros had sent around 10 million US dollars to some of the cast and crew members of Wonder Woman 1984 as they wanted the third film from the franchise and didn't want to suffer a fallout because of their HBO Max idea. Durgamati Review: Audience Call Bhumi Pednekar Starrer Disappointing

The much-awaited horror thriller film, Durgamati: The Myth starring Bhumi Pednekar finally premiered on Amazon Prime Video on December 11. The movie is directed by G. Ashok and is an official remake of his own Telugu-Tamil bilingual film Bhaagamathie which starred Anushka Shetty in the lead role. ## While the expectations were high from Durgamati (earlier titled Durgavati), the Hindi remake of Bhaagamathie couldn't reprise the magic which the original film had. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Akshay Kumar, and Vikram Malhotra, Durgamati has been disappointing largely because it failed to scare people which is its joner. Devoleena Bhattacharjee Alleges Domestic Violence Against Late Divya Bhatnagar's Husband Gagan Shetty

The popular TV actress and Bigg Boss 13 fame, Devoleena Bhattacharjee has alleged that her close friend, late actress Divya Bhatnagar, was a victim of domestic violence by her husband Gagan Shetty.## The 'Saath Nibhana Sathiya' actress has shared a video on her Instagram account on Thursday (December 10) where she alleged Gagan Shetty of subjecting Divya to tremendous physical assault and mental harassment while she was alive. Devoleena alleged that Shetty had smashed Divya's head just three days after their wedding, regularly hit her with a belt, and lock her in a room.## Calling Divya's husband a criminal, Devoleena further alleged that he had threatened to kill the late actress' brother if she opened her mouth.## Addressing Divya's husband, Devoleena says in Hindi in the video, "Gagan Shetty aka Gabru Shetty and don't know how many more names you have because criminals have many names... Maybe you had scared Divya so much so that she doesn't tell anything to her family members or friends, but she has shared incidents of assault that you committed on her, to some of her friends and fans, with whom she used to chat. She had even written about it. Beating her with the belt was a regular affair, leaving her bruised in the hands and legs. He is a criminal who would beat her regularly, lock her in a room, and threaten her saying if she tells anything to her family then he will kill her brother. So basically he is a criminal".## Devoleena in her video also revealed that Divya Bhatnagar had earlier informed the police about her husband.
