Rhea Ripley: 'I Would Love To Step In The Ring With Jade Cargill'

San Francisco, 15 October - During her tenure in AEW, Jade Cargill stood out as one of the company's top stars, but her run came to an end when she was released from the company in September. Following her departure from AEW, she inked a multi-year contract with WWE.

Cargill's first WWE appearance occurred on the Fastlane pre-show on October 7. During that event, she was seen arriving at the arena and received a warm welcome from WWE's Chief Content Officer and Head of Creative, Triple H. She later made an appearance on the October 10 episode of NXT, engaging in a backstage segment with Shawn Michaels.



Her presence continued on SmackDown, where she had a backstage confrontation with Charlotte Flair. It's evident that WWE is positioning her prominently, and some of the company's top superstars must be keeping a close watch on her.

One such superstar keeping an eye on Cargill is Rhea Ripley. Undoubtedly one of the leading female WWE Superstars at the moment, Ripley is ready to bring the heat if Cargill ventures onto Raw.

In a recent interview with Sporting News Australia, Ripley commented on Cargill's WWE debut and made it clear that if Cargill makes her way to Raw, she'll have to contend with Ripley.

“I’m very excited to see what she brings to WWE. I really am. Like you said, she’s a big name and a lot of people are watching and waiting for her debut. We don’t know which brand she’s gonna be on yet. It could be RAW, it could be SmackDown, it could be NXT. No one really knows exactly what’s going on. If it is RAW, I mean that’s my show. Mami runs RAW. The Judgment Day, we run RAW.”

“So, if Jade wants to come to my brand, then I would love to step in the ring with her and show her exactly why Mami is always on top. Because I have watched bits and pieces of her from her time in the other company and she is fantastic and she believes in herself and she is a star. She believes she’s a star, which is always the most dangerous thing. When someone believes in themselves, they are very hard to stop. But, I’m also Mami [laughs].”
