Rhea Ripley Wrestled In A Dark Match After 3/29 SmackDown Went Off Air
Fans at SmackDown on March 29th got more than they bargained for as the action continued after the cameras went dark. The Women's Champion, Rhea Ripley of The Judgment Day, defended her title against Shayna Baszler in a thrilling dark match. Ripley emerged victorious, retaining her championship.
This wasn't the only post-show excitement. Finn Balor, another member of The Judgment Day, battled Sami Zayn in a separate dark match. However, unlike Ripley, Balor fell short, losing the contest to Zayn.
The main event of the televised portion of SmackDown saw Bianca Belair defeat Dakota Kai. However, the celebration was short-lived. Asuka and Kairi Sane launched a surprise attack on Belair, leaving her vulnerable. Naomi attempted to intervene but was unsuccessful.
The night took a surprising turn when former AEW star Jade Cargill made a dramatic entrance. Cargill intervened in the chaos, making a strong statement and aligning herself with the beleaguered Belair and Naomi. The show ended with the babyfaces standing tall, sending a message to the entire SmackDown roster.
