Video: Rhea Ripley Hits Nostalgic 'Stinkface' During Live Event, Pays Tribute To Rikishi
Rhea Ripley, the reigning WWE Women's World Champion, surprised fans with a dose of nostalgia during a recent live event.
In a video circulating online, Ripley can be seen executing the infamous "Stinkface" maneuver on Nia Jax, much to the crowd's amusement.
This comedic move was popularized by WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi in the late 90s and early 2000s. It involves the attacker turning their back and rubbing their backside on the opponent's face while they're seated in the corner. While some might find it gross, the move undeniably injects humor into the match and entertains the audience.
Ripley's use of the "Stinkface" comes just a week after Nia Jax delivered the same move on Becky Lynch during their Raw match. This interesting exchange adds another layer to the upcoming rivalry, as Ripley is set to defend her title against Lynch at WrestleMania 40.
