WWE Champ Rhea Ripley Talks Her Relationship With AEW Wrestler Buddy Matthews

Rhea Ripley, the current WWE Women's Champion, opened up about her relationship with Buddy Matthews, a wrestler in rival company AEW.

With more and more couples working for different promotions these days, fans have been curious how Ripley and Matthews make it work, especially since Ripley has an on-screen romance with Dominik Mysterio in WWE.



Ripley recently appeared on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, where she said that she and Matthews understand their careers are at different places. While she's reached the top of WWE, Matthews is building himself up in AEW with his group, House of Black.

Ripley acknowledges that WWE is a bigger platform, but assures fans that Matthews isn't threatened by her success. They trust and support each other, and Matthews even helps her grow as a wrestler, which is what a relationship is all about.

In the meantime, Ripley focuses on defending her title against Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, while Matthews continues his feud with Mark Briscoe on AEW.
