Mumbai, August 26 - The recent Telugu blockbuster, Sita Ramam, starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna, is getting ready for Hindi release in theaters on September 2, 2022. ## The Hanu Raghvapudi-directed period romantic drama has been a true box office blockbuster from Tollywood this year. Set in 1964, Lieutenant Ram, an orphan army officer serving at the Kashmir border, gets anonymous love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi. Hyderabad, August 23 - The Telugu film industry has delivered three blockbusters in the month of August 2022 in the form of Sita Ramam, Bimbisara, and Karthikeya 2. This is probably the first time in many years that the Telugu industry has delivered three big blockbusters at the box office. ## The three aforementioned films have crossed 200 crores at the worldwide box office, the first time for Telugu movies since May this year when Mahesh Babu's "Sarkaru Vaari Paata" was released. Hyderabad, August 13 - The Telugu film industry has witnessed some of the finest performances this year from leading actresses on their debuts. Among the memorable female debuts in Telugu films, Malayalam beauty Nazriya Nazim and Bollywood actress Mrunal Thakur have been able to make a lasting impact on Telugu audiences. ## Nazriya made her Telugu debut with the romantic-comedy film, Ante Sundaraniki, which was released on June 10. She played the role of Leela Thomas, a Christian who is a professional photographer. She played the love interest of Sundar (Nani), who comes from an orthodox Brahmin family. The film tells the story of Sundar and Leela, an interfaith couple who try to convince their parents about their marriage through a string of lies only to find themselves in more complicated situations. ## The movie opened to very positive reviews, especially, Nazriya's performance was appreciated the most. Her role was so well written and the actress also made sure she nails the role with perfection. Nazriya brought her own uniqueness to the role while her accent was top-notch. However, the talented actress might have delivered the career-best act in her Telugu debut movie, Sita Ramam, which was released on August 5. ## Sita Ramam is a period love story film that also stars Dulquer Salmaan and Rashmika Mandanna in prominant roles. Set in 1964, Lieutenant Ram (Dulquer), an orphan army officer serving at the Kashmir border, gets anonymous love letters from Sita Mahalakshmi (Mrunal). Ram is on a mission to find Sita and propose his love. ## While the film got a super positive response, it is Mrunal, who stole the show with her impeccable act, which the Telugu audiences can't stop talking about. The movie has proved to be a word-of-mouth hit at the box office and recovered its total investment in just 6 days despite opening on a decent note. ## The movie starring Dulquer Salmaan, Mrunal Thakur, and Rashmika Mandanna, was released day and date with Nandamuri Kalyan Ram's Bimbisara, which is already on its way to becoming a massive blockbuster. It was valued at approx. 16 crores worldwide and it has already managed to collect 25.50 crores share collection in just 7 days. ## Sita Ramam has lagged behind Bimbisara in the overall collection but has shown better trending than Kalyan Ram-starrer.
