Academy Award Winner Resul Pookutty Joins Allu Arjun's Pan India Film, Pushpa
The makers of Allu Arjun starrer, Pushpa are all set to unveil the teaser of the film today (April 7). Ahead of the teaser launch, the makers have announced another exciting update that Oscar-winning Sound Designer Resul Pookutty is on board to work for Pushpa.
Resul Pookutty won the Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing, along with Richard Pryke and Ian Tapp, for Slumdog Millionaire. Pushpa is the second Telugu movie for Pookutty after recently released Aranya starring Rana Daggubati.
Talking about Pushpa, it is an action-thriller film directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers in association with Muttamsetty Media.
Apart from Allu Arjun, the movie also stars Fahadh Faasil in the antagonist role while Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead along with Jagapati Babu, Prakash Raj, Dhananjay, and Sunil play supporting roles.
The film is scheduled to release on 13 August 2021 in Telugu along with dubbed versions in Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada languages.
