Allu Arjun's Pushpa Beats Ranveer Singh's 83

Hyderabad, January 20 - Allu Arjun Starrer Pushpa: The Rise has become a monster hit at the Hindi box office with extraordinary trending across weeks. Pushpa: The Rise which started with a decent first-day figure of around 3cr, now has a chance to cross 100cr at the box office which will be an out-of-the-world achievement for the film and the makers.

Pushpa: The Rise has also beaten the figures of Ranveer Singh's 83 in many markets now which is again a phenomenal achievement. Although 83 had underperformed at the box office due to the limited appreciation from the audience, beating a Hindi film in the main Hindi markets and that too being a dubbed film is something to be very proud of.

In CP Berar, Pushpa: The Rise has gone over double-digit collections overall by collecting around 11cr, and 83 has been under 5cr. In Rajasthan, Pushpa has collected around 4.5cr and 83 is behind this figure. In Bihar, Pushpa: The Rise has beaten 83 by more than 50% margin.

Overall Pushpa: The Rise proved to be a Blockbuster in the Hindi markets although the film did not meet the sky-high expectation in the home market.

The credit of the Blockbuster success of Pushpa: The Rise goes to the makers for serving a well-made entertainer with the huge popularity of Allu Arjun being the biggest plus. After Pushpa: The Rise Allu Arjun has an edge over all the south stars as far as their popularity goes in the northern markets.
