Box Office: Bachchhan Paandey Goes Down On Day 2

Mumbai, March 20 - Bachchhan Paandey took a decent opening on the first day and there was much room for improvement on day 2 but the film could not see any growth and overall collections of day 2 came lower than day 1 which is a bad trend for a mass film like Bachchan Pandey.

The second-day collections of Bachchhan Paandey are 12 cr against the first-day collections of 13.25cr. This takes the two-day total collections of Bachchhan Paandey to 25.25cr. Today is Sunday and at least Bachchhan Paandey should see its highest single-day collections.

The weekend looks 38-40cr range depending upon the Sunday collections. The film has clearly underperformed if we talk about the initial collections. Bachchan Pandey is the second choice for the movie-goers after The Kashmir Files but it has got enough capacity to hit 18-20cr collections daily.

The advance for today is also not that huge and on top of that, the film has not been appreciated by the audience. There was a huge decline in Maharashtra & Gujarat which were the best-performed circuit on day1. The Real value opening of Bachchan Pandey is in single digit as the first day was helped due to the Holi holiday.
